Overdrive (2017)

Downgraded version of The Fast and The Furious

The best parts of the FF franchise are the effects and action scenes which require a massive budget.

Take away the budget and you get this movie which is a boring, clique'd, uninspiring mess that should have not been made.

Not absolutely horrendous but you will forget that this movie existed after walking from the theater.

Dunkirk (2017)

A cinematic Experience

Chris Nolan delivers this wartime epic with sweeping shots, chilling music, and some not completely realistic but horrifying views of the second world war.

A movie that you need to see in cinemas to take away the full experience.

Watch it as soon as possible.

American Made (2017)

Cruise makes a Comeback

Tom Cruise is back with a vengeance and after the train wreck that was The Mummy i can safely say that this movie proved that Cruise can act and Liman can direct.

While the narrative structure isn't always the best flowing the movie delivers great performances, an atmosphere that sucks you into the time period, and well made shots.

A highly underrated movie that i would personally recommend and a definite 8/10.

The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017)

Bevillo Tutto!

The best part of the movie is the chemistry between the two leads and the comedy which is somewhat juvenile and predictable but the actors are great at selling the jokes.

On the other hand we have a clique'd plot and action scenes that should be fun but somehow manage to end up as boring.

A good movie to watch on Netflix with your S/O or Friends but not particularly special.

American Renegades (2017)

A boring mess of an action flick

There is precisely one action scene in the movie which happens in the first 15 minutes after that it's boring exposition, Lazy Acting, and a few scenes that should qualify as action scenes but they're so dull and boring since you don't care about the characters and barely anything exciting happens anyways.

Jk Simmons performance is the only redeeming quality that nonetheless still does not save this shitty movie.

Don't watch it unless you want to get bored.
