Why Him? (2016)
A Hysterical Christmas Adventure
I had gone in with mixed expectations for this film however, this film totally won me over.
Starring Bryan Cranston and James Franco, this movie just comes alive with rich comedy. Creativity also mostly prevailed in this film, producing various hysterical moments, showing barely any indications of remade material. The comedy was pumped with a fresh and unique feel to it.
The casting for this really couldn't of been more fitting, despite crude humour , it's the chemistry between the characters that's holding the humour together and allowing it's crudeness to work as comedy.
Overall, i had an awesome ride with this movie, came out of the cinema feeling so joyful, Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill together definitely know how comedy works and know what it should be

Rogue One (2016)
The Perfect Prequel
My mind was blown by this movie. Everything was so neatly tied, providing A New Hope to be the perfect follow up movie.
The CGI was simply unbelievable, the addition of Peter Cushing worked on so many levels.
This film made me wanna go watch every single episode in one hit, the acting especially Felicity Jones was super and the feature of Darth Vader just made the film even better. So many vibes had arisen during the film, pushing my enjoyment further
Overall, a solid and strong feature for the Star Wars series. I was entertained through the entirety of Star Wars: Rogue One and i feel they couldn't of made it much better than this, i'm pumped for the episodes to come, may the force continue to grow in strength

Westworld: The Bicameral Mind (2016)
Going out in a blaze of glory
Since watching this show from episode 1 I've gone from being entertained to questioning the nature of this whole supposed reality we live in.
This episode just did it for me, purely phenomenal, questions were answered, backstories were explained and we said goodbye to many people.
Everyone was superb, especially Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood and Jeffrey Wright. An action packed, feature length masterpiece of an episode.
While the final episode for the first series had closed a few doors, it had opened many as well, it's a mystery what series two could actually bring. However it's been an amazing journey and experience through WestWorld, i can honestly say i've never seen a show so powerful and at the same time be so unique.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016)
Still as brilliant as before
I do not get why some people are hating on this, it's the perfect revival for the show. Remembering its been nearly 10 years since the show ended there was bound to be slight changes to all the characters.
The acting in the revival was spot on, every character was portrayed as they once were, the script was both emotional and hilarious and I'm left just wanting more.
Overall i really enjoyed the revival, it was so appealing to see where the characters were at with their lives and i pray that there are more episodes to come in the future. They really couldn't of done much better then this.

Blood Father (2016)
Producers take a lesson from this film
Blood Father is a wonderfully entertaining journey through the relationship of a father and his daughter, packed with laughs and a whole lot of action. It's one of those films that leaves you thinking would i do that if i was in a similar situation?
The character of John Link is an amalgamation of Martin Riggs (Lethal Weapon) and Thomas Craven (Edge of Darkness)For any Mel Gibson or action movie fan it's a must see. In my opinion it's up there with Mad Max.Overall i could have easily watched another 30-45 minutes of this film, easily the best action movie for a couple of years.I only hope Mel continues to grace us with his presence in more films to come.
