So there I was thinking Boba can't possibly be done worse than AoTC

And yet it has been done even worse

Tem Morrison can't act for toffee Boba changed from evil psycho badass in the OT to a fat stumbling idiot Total character assassination

Disney need to give up on SW and sell it to someone that gets it.

I wish I could wipe out all SW apart from the OT and R1 and start again

So cameramen who carry on filming even when their legs are being eaten off, killer possessed girls are roaming two feet away and even when they run through the forest away from that they still carry on filming.

Any film with that nonsense cannot be taken seriously.

If they had dumped the mockumentray style this could have been good.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)

Truly dreadful

Not because it doesn't have Michael in it, but because the plot is dire, the acting horrible, it's dull boring, makes no sense, the kills are uninteresting.

Save yourself hours if your life and avoid this tripe.

What exactly was the plot? What exactly was The beginning middle and end?

What did our protagonist actually do?

Why was Möbius called Möbius when really he was the same as every other character Owen ever plays?

What was the point in Renslayer?

Why is everyone raving about the random black guy at the end when all he did was vomit lyrical like the old guy from the Matrix 3.

And seriously that guy is meant to be the next big bad? Is that a joke? He could barely act never mind come across as terrifying. Thanks would eat him for breakfast (even the Thanos from the first post credits scene was more intimidating)

Which brings me to another point. Why does Loki say how terrifying he is to Möbius when when he was actually with Kang he showed no fear whatsoever

I'm sorry I love the movies but when it comes to The TV shows DareDevil and the Punisher destroy these shows in every way (and frankly even Iron Fist had better stories to tell and better acting)

I want comic book action to escape the real world and have some fun not to have someone's agenda rammed down my throat

Marvel stop with the virtual signally BS and get back to the fun. Oh and hire some writers that can you know write a decent story.

And let's jettison Antony while we're at it, as a side kick he's fine but front and centre bah rubbish.

Wow well that's two hours of my life I'll never get back. I'm writing this as the film carries on I'm so bored. No real story no feeling life I can appreciate the horrors of war and the terrible things these peoples lives through. Magically appearing bag pipes and wheelchairs. A magically appearing cross to hang a guy from for no clear discernible reason. Endless repeating script and the feeling I'm being force feed religious garbage I don't feel like swallowing.

Powerful people say, nope just dull rubbish without any redemption

His House (2020)

It's long it's slow and there is no pay off It's not a horror film it's some kind of weird drama with CG ghost things that don't do much and frankly aren't remotely scary. Also they make no sense Man degenerates into weird madness for no apparent reason in the first five 10 minutes Random inserted arty dream sequences which again make no sense There is no real plot, no beginning middle and end just a random stream of stuff that happens The man guy appears to be a controlling AH so why do I care if he dies The woman well she's random and annoying so I don't care about her either

Revenge (II) (2017)

Artistic, full of ridiculous gore, beautifully shot and great soundtrack.

Classic old school vibe, simple premise beautifully shot.

Last fight scene was classic!

Tumbbad (2018)

Not a horror movie and rather dull.

The hundreds of 10/9 reviews honestly make no sense.

Calling this a horror movie is a stretch. It's not horrifying, it's not scary, it's just a long drawn out snooze fest with a dodgy CGI monster and some dreadful zombie type things.

There is no real story. It has a single conceit that's repeated over and over. The mythology is too simple to support the running time which was overly long. Maybe if they had cut half an hour out of it it may have been tighter and better?

The main character is a unpleasant person. You can't root for such a poor excuse for a man. The dialogue is dull.

Ignore the rave reviews. If this is the best thing out of this country I feel sorry for all the people who have to put up with worse than this.

Nearly two hours of my life I'm not getting back, should have listened to my gut and turned it off after 20mins.

The Hallow (2015)

Excellent gripping movie best horror I've seen in a while

Excellent creature design Fantastic cinematography and setting Good riff on an old fairytale story without any of the cheesiness that often comes with that idea. Great lead actors, that generally behaved reasonably but not perfectly given the stressful situation they were under. Mostly practical effects a couple of dodgy CG bits but mostly very good Sound was awesome, really creepy and tension building Felt gripped for the whole movie! Can't wait for more from this director
