King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)
Guy Ritchie does it again! One of the best Action/Fantasy flicks I've seen in a while!
If you are in the mood for a film with witty, comical dialogue, extremely well done fight scenes provide an experience not seen very often, a star-studded cast that fits each character role, and a nice collection of creatures and supernatural beings...this movie is definitely for you. It was very well done and I'm disappointed it didn't get as much hype surrounding it as it should have. I will be adding this to the favorites list for sure.
The Hunt (2020)
Dark, Twisted, Political, Intellectually Comical...A Wildly Good Time
If you were a fan of Ready Or Not...this is the film for you. Gory, yep. Solid storyline, execution, acting and suspense...yep. This film had a deeper-than-surface plot to it and was more than just a creative montage of death. Definitely recommend if you have the stomach and dark sense of humor for it.
Big Legend (2018)
Great, realistic, genuinely creepy
If you like creature flicks, this would definitely entertain you and present you with something new. Given, it's not a Hollywood flick, but they do a damn good job.
Knock Knock (2015)
Starts off promising and takes a weird, unnecessary, disgusting turn for the worse the entire second half.
I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone, aside from the initial beauty and appeal of both leading women in the beginning. As soon as the movie begins its dramatic build, all character development and stability goes right out the window. It becomes a jumbled mess of poor execution and unnecessary, digusting and eve
triggersomee shock-value. The sole reason I continued to watch was because I had already made it halfway through. I'm quite disappointed in the actors and writers of this movie and urge you not to waste your time.
Siren (2016)
A bit twisted but a quality horror flick, even for its budget
I'm pretty particular with the horror films I give time to and I must say, this was a pretty good horror flick. Good storyline and not too campy, even on the low budget.
The Abyss (1989)
If you were captivated by Interstellar, this movie is for you.
100% recommend this masterpiece to any viewer. It makes perfect sense that James Cameron was behind this film, as it clearly reflects. Phenomenal viewing experience that is worthy of all 9 stars...which doesn't occur very often. Watch This Film! These kinds of stories are hard to come by.
Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich (2018)
If you're a fan of the originals...Please avoid this failed and extremely flawed remake
Being a fan of the original puppet master films, I went in to this remake expecting to see better graphics and awesomely revamped versions of the puppets that were always so intriguing. It started off strong and genuinely creepy...until it came time for the puppets to start appearing. When I say they spit in the face of the whole franchise by changing Andrè Toulon's character and driving forces, as well as that of his puppets...man. There is no moral code here and after one of the murder scenes, I was just too disgusted and displeased to continue (and I'm a horror fan so I can handle a lot).
The puppets are still pretty cool to look at but that is about it. There is no satisfaction behind their kills though. Just senseless, squandered potential here. Very much a let down.
Life of the Party (2018)
Hilarious, realistic and a feel-good film
I'm not understanding the low scores and "I only laughed once" feedback. I cracked up on multiple occassions, watching it by myself. That doesn't happen often. This was one of my favorites of Melissa's and they did a great job with this one
