Maboroshi (2023)

One more movie about growing up

I don't like symbolism, metaphores and allegories. The movie was confusing but it is very simple in a way. Growing up, changing, love, sexuality. Japan loves making such movies. Anyway it is not what I wanted to watch, I am not a teen, I thought this was some fantasy.

Alice like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland I should have paid more attention to the title, no wonder the movie doesn't make sense!

I watched Suzume no Tojimari a few days ago. I liked it. I heard Suzume was nominated for the Annie Awards (Animation Awards)

Diabolik (2021)

I thought he is like Arsène Lupin, but he is a cold-blooded murderer!

I don't know the original, this was my first movie about Diabolik.

I thought he is like Lupin, thief and master of disguise, but I was wrong. There is nothing likeable in this character. The name is correct, he is evil. He is not some anti hero, he is a criminal, cruel, cold-blooded murderer. I hated him, I hated he is the main character.

The quality of the movie was good, the actors were good, I liked the places.

I hated the story. If he were that good he wouldn't need to kill. The masks were ridiculous, just like in Mission: Impossible. There was no surprise, everyone did what I expected, boring.

I don't want to watch Diabolik again.

National Treasure: Edge of History (2022–2023)

I tried, but it doesn't get better.

I gave up after starting to watch the 5th episode.

I loved the first movie, I saw the second one.

This is bad, I liked The Librarians (2014-2018) more.

It is boring, they are not going to places. I mean they went to a funeral and visited the Elvis museum, but you get the idea. It feels cheap.

I quit because it feels fake. When I watch a movie or a series, I want to forget reality for a few hours, but this fails miserably. While watching the 5th episode I was thinking, They are on the plane again so cheap. I don't like that actor, couldn't they find better? I don't think we will see Justin Bartha in this episode.

Ancient Apocalypse (2022)

He was more convincing in the Joe Rogan podcast.

Well, after 2 episodes this is underwhelming, too much animation and storytime. It feels like the creators thought we are children or challenged. I watched the Joe Rogan podcast and even read one of Graham Hancock's books, he is better than thiis.

Just watch The Joe Rogan Experience it's a lot better than this documentum series, you don't need a Netflix subscription it's on spotify and youtube.

Black Adam (2022)

Much better than Strange2

Not a perfect movie, but very fun. It has heart.

I loved the music, I don't even remember when was the last time.

Dwayne Johnson was ridiculous once, I never forget The Scorpion King, but he was good in this, I took him seriously.

The CGI was not always good, and sometimes the gravity was weird, but the movie had some EPIC scenes.

I enjoyed the story, it had some twists too. There was character development, which is missing in most movies nowadays. I was genuinly worried for their lives.

It was somewhat weird that this is an American movie, and the 'hero' fights against invaders, who steal the resources of the country.

Good movie, I will watch it again.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

I had enough of sympathetic villains let's go back loving selfless heroes

The main character was Wanda. Wanda is a villain, and I had enough of movies about villains. Superheroes aren't super anymore, the fight was rather poor. I want to go back to classic heroes, sefless, kind, maybe simple, but true heroes that won't give up and won't give into darkness.

I want good stoires, not CGI fest. The story was helping Wanda, her opponents made inexplicable choises to keep the movie going.

Those people feeling sorry for Wanda just put youself into the place of one of her victims. Chasing happyness made her cruel, and a monster.

I did not watch the Wanda series, I did not watch any of the Disney shows.

A movie about the MULTIVERSE... I expected to see multiple worlds, but we only got one new, and Strange beat up a street food vendor. I wasn't worried about Strange, he is popular, definitely going to get a third movie.

I did not like it.

Resident Evil (2022)

The movies are better.

I liked the first Resident Evil movie, I have it on dvd:) The second was ok. I hated the rest, and didn't watch the last movie. + I didn't watch Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

I didn't play the games.

I only watched the first episode.

About the series: I am not scared.

The zombies are disappointing. I read once The Walking Dead trained the zombie actors.

The main character is an idiot.

I didn't recognize Wesker.

Watch Kingdom (TV Series 2019- ).

Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)

the magic is missing

I might have had too high expectations.

Music: nothing special Wallpaper: no The series feels cheap.

Obi-Wan is different, disappointing.

Not enough Hayden Christensen!

I can't explain but I feel the magic is missing.

I stopped watching after 3 episodes, Moon Knight was better.

Ultraman (2019–2023)

I was curious. I watched power rangers when I was a child, but never Ultraman. The animation is bad, the story is flat (I only watched the first 2 episodes). Teen with superpowers fights against something like Ultron.

Morbius (2022)

Horrendous

It was cringy. The script and the story were so awful that I felt sorry for the actors. Things happened without reason. Why did they make Morbius a hero?

Dracula Untold is a better movie! Just watch Van Helsing 2004.

The bats were used like in Batman Begins.

Moon Knight (2022)

This doesn't feel Marvel, I like it!

I don't know anything about Moon Knight, I did not understand most of it but it's interesting and different.

I think the costume should have been less silly.

This doesn't feel like a comic book series more like The Mummy. If you liked The Mummy watch it!

I wanted epic war with aliens, instead Master Chief is going to babysit some rebel teen.

I heard these companies don't give a .... about the source material, but I did not expect that basically just change some names and costumes and they copied the Mandalorian!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

It was good. If you liked the old movies you are going to like it.

There were some absurdities like absent father thinking about his child, 15 year old worker, girl liking younger boy, hugging a ghost, teacher playing horror movies, how could a ghost age? That was slimer right?

Animal monsters having sex in human form. / The woman wasn't angry about it.

I liked the 80's looking enemy, she looked amazing! I wished the whole movie would be retro!

Blade Runner: Black Lotus (2021–2022)

Blade Runner 2049 contains spoilers!

The story is not surprising, easy to guess. The first few episodes reminded me of the Altered Carbon series. I am still sad Netflix cancelled it. I blame Anthony Mackie for his bad acting.

The animation is somewhere PlayStation 2 or 3, it's bad!

Not a long series, there are better animes.

If you want something deep, watch the first movie.

If you want a wallpaper, watch Blade Runner 2049.

If you can't find a good anime, not even an old one but you want to watch something... watch this.

The Orbital Children (2022– )

I liked it and I though I understood it mostly until the last ep which I had to watch 2X.

I feel duped. I think this whole series is about one message "Leave Your Comfort Zone and Enter Your Growth Zone". Which is not a bad message just not what I expected or wanted.

Don't waste your time. Netflix cancelled Altered Carbon. Quantity over quality.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

No good writer left in Hollywood huh?

The movie had some logical issues like why didn't the father take the necklace from his daughter first, he sent the postcard I think.

The movie was entertaining but the end was BAD!

Shang used the rings better than his 1000 years old father. The father should have helped to beat the soulsucker and then die after sealing it. Shang never used the rings (BRACELETS) before!

And then they went home telling their friend about it, surprisingly happily considering how many died (including his father!).

Belle (2021)

1, Why did she care about the beast? Was it love at first sight? The real Belle at least had a reason to be with the beast!

2, Letting the girl alone do something that dangerous! Those adults should be ashamed!

3, love She said THANK YOU! Lol.

Bonus: Belle with her makeup looks like a titan from Attack on Titan:)

This could have been good but the story was all over the place.

This could have been a first love movie with her childhood friend.

This could have been about getting together with her father.

• finding her voice.

• being successful online and finding her confidence in real life.

• in love with the beast/ saving him.

What's with the kenu guy anyway?

This movie tried all this and more.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)

6 is too good for this movie, watch the first one

I did not watch it in a theatre, but it doesn't matter, it was bad. I had that impression others liked it, it was a surprise how much I did not. The first one was good.

The enemies were disgusting. Not clever or scary and definitely not remarkable.

Venom's relationship felt forced and annoying, bothersome. I know they wanted to make it funny, that's making it even worse!

Last few minutes were better and more interesting than the entire movie!

Arcane (2021– )

Its only fault it's a netflix series.

The series is exciting, dramatic, EPIC, the animation is beautiful and I loved it, it's just on NETFLIX.

What do I mean?

Sex scene, Netflix put a sex scene in every animation series I watched. If I don't want sex I don't watch hentai or ecchi anime, but if I watch netflix it's inevitable!

LGBT representation, same, if I don't like it I don't watch yaoi, yuri, shoujo ai, shounen ai, but it wouldn't be a netflix series without it.

Gore. Netflix even puts beheadings in teen dramas, so it's not a surprise.

Hellbound (2021– )

It was exciting, but I'm regretting watching it.

It's very interesting I wanted answers and that kept me going. After 6 episodes I have even more questions and my mood is ruined.

So many tragedies and brutal scenes, it was literally awful to watch, I hated watching it, but curiosity kept me going.

It was a beautiful day today. Sunny. I should have went outside, bake a cake or something! Instead, I wasted my Sunday, and I feel bad.

Cowboy Bebop (2021)

Everything looks cheap. I don't like the humor, feels forced. I watched the anime but I am not a fan.

The woman is irritating.

It's very different from other shows, if you want something different, watch this.

It was too violent and depressing for me.

That guy was in Star Trek?! He looks totally different, I didn't recognize him.

I am angry and disappointed. I watched family drama for 3 episodes! I just wanted an invasion - that's the title!- series. Watch War of the Worlds 2005 with Tom Cruise instead!

Amazing. This is my favorite superhero series! Titans became boring after first season, I love it more than the umbrella academy, and it's not as violent as invincible.

There are better series. Relic Hunter, Warehouse 13 movies The Librarian: Quest for the Spear, National Treasure.
