Terrifier 2 (2022)
Where to begin with this one...
So I went into this hoping it would be the same format as the first. Psycho clown meet some strangers and for 90 minutes he takes them out in gruesome fashion. What happened was not that. Don't get me wrong, the brutality was cranked up to 11 and they made a little funnier. But there were some really stretched out scenes. And I figured they did to establish plot and a story worth watching. They even set up plot devices that at 1st seemed this was gonna be 1 helluva sequel. But by the time the credits rolled no questions were answered,no plot resolved. This so disappointing, I really could go on about it,but why bother.
Saint Maud (2019)
NOT a horror movie but it's still a movie.
This movie should not be categorized as a horror movie and probably a thriller. Don't get me wrong,it's super dark. I think the last time I saw a movie this dark and religious, and still being good was Carrie. It is a slow burn but worth it.
May (2002)
Watch out for the quiet ones
I'd like to think this movie is for anyone who has truly been lonely,or felt awkward, or different. Or,as much as this word was used in the film, weird. I could not help but sympathize with May,and just want to give her a reassuring hug.
Quarantine (2008)
I don't understand all the hate?!
Ok,yes, this a shot for shot remake of rec. And many people may prefer rec over it,and that's fine. What I don't understand why people hate on a movie that's exactly the same as one the enjoy. This movie was clearly made for people who don't watch movies with subtitles. It isn't trying to be better than Rec,it's just trying to reach more people. I've seen both and I enjoy both.
Studio 666 (2022)
So bad it's good!
If you're looking for a fun campy, horror movie with lots of gore and bad acting, then watch this movie! It was so silly, never took itself seriously and was the ONLY time Whitney Cummings was funny.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
It's what I've been needing during quarantine
I personally feel this should've been the first thing to come out, after the 2yr hiatus. But anyway,it had everything! Great writing, great acting and very memorable MCU moments. Not only that, with everything going on in the world Marvel actually tackled social issues without it coming across as pandering. AND if you don't agree with that, you're a racist. I said it,line drawn!
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
The only problem with this movie,is that it's a stand alone
This movie has just about everything, great stunts and action scenes. Amazing characters, great actors, and a story that dosen't change or add any unnecessary nonsense.
Harley Quinn (2019)
I HATE how much I need this show
Ok I was very hesitant about watching this show, because I'm so sick of the character, BUT this show is what I've needed my entire life.finally,Gotham and all of it's more famous citizens showcased with actual human faults and desires. Please hurry and give me season 3!!!!
Angie Tribeca (2016)
There needs to be more shows like this
I grew up on the Naked Gun films,so needless to say I was addicted to this show.season 4 deviated from the formula and was pretty rough to watch.but overall, great
The Little Hours (2017)
Great! But not for the faint of heart
Took a chance on this movie, cause I liked the cast. So wonderfully surprised, this movie was unlike any movie I've ever seen, and highly recommend it
The Belko Experiment (2016)
I liked it
Was it original, nope.but it's still a lot of fun.my only complaint,is that Micheal Rucker was not in it long enough
Rattlesnake (2019)
Good but not great
I really liked the premise for this movie.but I did feel the ending was a bit drawn out and underwhelming
Unfriended (2014)
Didnt live up to the hype
So I know this came out a while ago,but the internet kept insisting that I watch it.
Let me start by saying, I am not into social media in any way, which made the 1st 20 minutes pretty unbearable. Plus with the constant glitching,it made it difficult to stay in the moments of tension. I will say it was very satisfying watching horrible teens get their up and comings
The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020)
If you're looking for fun movie, here it is
I loved how this movie didnt take itself seriously at all,and embraced it campiness. Was it the best movie ever? Hell no,but I did have alot of fun watching it
#BlackAF (2020)
I want season 2 right now!
I love this show! So funny,so so so funny!!! Real AF! If you don't get it,go watch something else. Rashida Jones is excellent as always, the rest if the cast is great as well. I want more
Léon (1994)
So many things to say
Where does one begin to praise this amazing movie? Stellar performances by Reno,Portman and Oldman. A wonderfully written story, with as much heart and emotion as there is blood and violence. And yet it is still to this day an underrated, hidden gem
Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008)
A wonderfully underappreciated gem
Man what not to say about this film?! Its so original, and the songs are catchy, even Paris Hilton was good! I really wish there were more films like this
XX (2017)
Wow this is BAD
I dunno if it was the poor writing or the even poorer acting, but I never saw a mother seem so nonchalant about her family withering away. I've seen real mothers break down over less severe situations. And to think it was written AND directed by a woman, lmao just so bad
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019)
Surprisingly entertaining
I will admit I went into this with low expectations, strike back was about 20yrs ago. But it wasn't that bad of a movie. Yes it did feel a bit rushed, and some jokes were old joke per beta. But what I really liked about this one is it had a lot of heart. I think all the others who wrote negative reviews were just expecting too much. With that said,I do hope that Kevin Smith is finally done with the askew universe and continues to make more movies with new characters lol.
Spring Breakers (2012)
I want my 90 minutes back
So I watched this movie, based on a lot of the reviews I read here. Normally I'm not lead astray, this time however was different. I understand stand this movie had something to say,and I'll even agree it was well shot. But it was completely unbelievable. Two little girls, whose experience with guns consists of shooting them in the air, take out an entire gang unscathed....bullsh!t
The Care Bears Movie (1985)
Standing the test of time
I use to watch this as a young boy and I loved it.i watched it,today, with my 6yr old son. He absolutely loved it.30 yrs later and it still doesn't disappoint
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013)
Amazing
Cant say enough good things about this show,I love every character equally, which is the perfect ingredient to a perfect show
Little Monsters (2019)
Its actually pretty good
Not normally a fan of "zomedies",but this one was very clever, and a lot of fun
Batman: Hush (2019)
Wasnt terrible
If you're a fan of the original comic story dont watch it,the ending will ruin your day
Kodachrome (2017)
Surprisingly really good
1st let me say, I love Ed harris. He never disappoints. And Jason Sudeikis really shocked me as to how well of a dramatic actor he can be. The plot isn't anything new,but Harris and Sudeikis more than make up for it.
