All You've Got (2006 TV Movie)
2/10
You know it's an MTV film....
21 May 2006
There's a time when movies come along and just blow you out of the water and make you forget you're watching a movie. Unfortunately "All You've Got" isn't that movie. It's the typical teenage MTV movie teenagers, their lives, school, and everything that comes with it. Even though there's some messages behind the film, I wouldn't recommend it to everybody. Singer Ciara's debut on film was less than stellar. She really needs more classes as her lines were flat and I kept thinking 'This is Ciara, not Becca Watley.' But I have to say that I was impressed with Adrienne Bailon (3LW), who has only been acting for a few years, and Faizon Love's (The Parent 'Hood) performances. I have to say Love needs more roles, as he can really act.

We Got Gipped
21 May 2006
The only reason I went to see this film was because, as teenagers, everyone was hyped to see it and I didn't want to be left out. (Mind you, I was only 13). Sure I liked it at first, but it took a long time for it to sink in that this movie (if I can call it that) is horrid! And then you read that the actors found it easy to get into character! What character? And these people can't even act, with the exception of the grandmother. Meagan Good went from "Eve's Bayou" to this? Don't waste your time or money.

Another note to Hollywood: DON'T EVER LET CHRIS STOKES WRITE OR DIRECT AGAIN!

Ended too soon
14 May 2006
From the first time I heard about the movie, I've been waiting to see it. I finally saw it earlier tonight after begging my mother to order the movie on DEMAND. Like my title implies, the film ended too soon. I knew beforehand that it was only 95 minutes, but that's way different than actually watching it.

The characters - no matter how awful or sweet - somehow makes you love them in one way or another. You can't help but me sympathetic to each situation, because every character has something to offer. You will walk away learning something, no doubt.

To the ones who say they're tired of intertwining stories or whatever, this is one of the best films you could ever hope to witness with your own two eyes.

This movie is a true tale. I live like these characters almost everyday and I know people like that. So please give it a chance before you rag. I promise you won't regret it.
