The Three Stooges (2012)
Don't Be wise guy!!!!!
The problem here is too many people. Are critics beyond all means? I've been a fan of the three stooges since I was a kid being 59 years Of age, I am a very big critiquer of the 3 stooges and I've got to say I enjoyed the movie. It depicted a lot of slapstick that took place in the original shorts. Aside from the fact they had the voices pretty close and the looks were pretty close and what was the matter with the film I mean my God. People need to lighten up. I give it a 9 because it gives harmony choose to stooges. And i'm sure if Moe Larry Curly and Shemp and Joe were all alive. I believe in my heart. They would have thoroughly enjoyed to see people. Remembering them after so many years and did a great job in the process. So anybody that has a problem with this movie? I have three words pick out two????
Family Sins (1987)
Emotional Favoritism abuse
The reason I gave this movie a 10, because it tackles every aspect within the realm of what takes place in families. This takes it over the edge of the norm but not enough to discard it's importance. From a father playing favorites to one and expecting the same expectations in another. Yet the other is not the same. Although the father pushes Bryan to be just like his brother Keith. Making him feel bad if he is not the same. As the movie continues it broadens in detail of how the abuse that Bryan is suffering and its progressing at a rapid pace. Being closed emotionally does not help Bryan. From taking his frustrations out on an animal, he decides the best way perhaps to eliminate his brother. Then he would have his dad all to himself and gain his love. And the way they tackle things, Emotionally from the parents to even the child I think is commendable because they do try to get to the root of what led to this. Unfortunately a bit too late. This is why I say it's extremely important for many families to watch this with their kids at a certain age. Not a young child but at a certain age just about 12 or 13 I think would understand this. That's my take on a movie that took a topic of the favoritism abuse to where it needed to go to Garner the attention it received in the hopes that anybody that has that thought to hurt someone out of vengefulness is not the way to go. At the end the father looks at his son. Says I don't blame you. And I love you son. A little too late after the damage has been done.
Lost in Space: Space Destructors (1967)
Unconditional Forgiveness
One of the best episodes of season 3 and Robert Hamner gave this episode of potpourri of Comedy seriousness and unconditional love at the end I rate this 10 out of 10 and it deserves every bit of it and Guy Williams got a chance to do his fencing that was good. And then at the end Dr Smith says how sorry he really is Guy Williams puts him in his place very well done at the end. And Will Robertson got a chance to be a cyborg too this is a well done episode. And I think the best part of the episode is in the end your doctor says I can change silly okay and then he realize he can't that really is the first time you hear me admitted his wrongs.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Zebras (2009)
Too graphic people!!
I love Law & Order SVU problem I have a zebras is it got too graphic and very violent in the end I don't even think it should have been allowed or TV four team is even a little bit too lenient should have gone to rated R no questions asked the episode is really suspenseful and very intense to say the least but I personally believe it went a little over the top graphic wise for its viewers. Hard to believe that the medical examiner was behind it all but you don't. Overall I love SVU but this episode really had it going a little too far over the edge unless maybe I'm a wimp that's possibly true.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Blast (2006)
Superb episode
For starters the comment that said this was bad and predictable, needs their head examined by Dr. Wong. I throughly thought it was well done. Aside from the fact of the continued suspense right to the end. I'm pretty good on judging a tv show episode by breaking it down bit by bit. This one in my book, was well done. Tamara Tunie was superb in this. More Tamera. I write on the side various tv shows and if I know your character, I'm good to go. To go further this episode showed how very east when one is on drugs, nothing matters but that next fix. This highlighted the episode quite well to say the least.
The Jeffersons: Dog Gone (1982)
People take tv way too seriously
For starters The Jeffersons is a comedy show second the dog was not hurt at all thirdly they weren't poking fun at the dog's death. They felt that the dog was very mean and malicious and how many people act like that when a dog is like that. My point is if you stop watching the series because of that episode you need to go see a psychiatrist because you take things way too seriously. The Jeffersons to me is an outstanding series that covered a lot of ground and had a lot of meaning on a lot of episodes and there were other animals of dogs and other episodes and they never treated them poorly or anything like that dog happened to jump on the ball George didn't deliberately throw it knowing that the dog was going to jump over the ledge. Bottom line if it affects you don't watch the episode but it's not as bad as it seems I love animals I love dogs cats. So people relax the episode I gave it a perfect 10 because it was a very good episode not because the dog died but because the way the storyline went.
Lost in Space: The Flaming Planet (1968)
Don't be so critical
For one the story moves along quite well. Space action. Funny moments. But as Writer Barney Slater puts this adventure together, he has had better episodes that really bring Lost In Space up where respectfully it needs to be. But I was entertained by this episode. So 6 is not appropriate neither is 7. 8 suffices because remember the story holds itself. The plants got carried away at times to silliness. But a huge die hard fan from day 1. Out of 84 episodes 20 excellent another 20 decent 15 watchable about 20 + plus duds. But I love them all. Cast was superb. Music was well put together by over 12 composers over its 3 year run. John Williams the most significant of them all.
Lost in Space: Kidnapped in Space (1967)
Not as bad as you think
Aside from a lot of dr. Smith's antics I don't know how people can say this is a boring episode there's a lot of excitement going on with a bomb being thrown at each other John getting laser shot and the bending of time and I thought this was a pretty interesting show I mean nothing perfect no matter who you talk to you going to find someone that loved it or hated it bottom line is sit back and enjoy looking back at this all on Blu-ray it looks great and I give this a 9 there will be people that will argue that that no way in heck but I give it that. I would say out of 84 episodes including the Lost pilot 49 are very well done of course there were some that weren't the greatest that's because the writers I think played around with it wouldn't writers like Barney Slater I like his writing because he kept the seriousness and most of his episodes the comedic parts and the family bonding watch a lot of this episodes some including Follow the Leader from season 1 prisoners of space season 2 wreck of the robot even if you go back a little bit The Deadly games are gamma 6 wasn't too bad so enjoy you pusillanimous pipsqueaks.
The Munsters: Herman's Peace Offensive (1965)
Putting a bully in his place!!!
How many in their lifetime, has dealt with a bully at one time or another. Even though this episode carries the retaliation over the top. Doesn't mean the victims haven't thought about these "return the favor " so to speak. However, The Munsters are a great family show as a whole. I still give this episode a 10. Because it sets a premise bully me and I'll make sure you think twice the next time. Which in the end it does that. The water and the electricity is funny but during syndication this episode was passed many times. For fear of copycats. Bullies are loaners and insecure themselves. Buy the majority of Munster fans will love the way this is played out.
Lost in Space (1965)
Show Had Heart
When I first watched Lost In Space, I was about 7. Only 1 when it first aired. But let's be realistic either you love the show or you hated the show. One of the things I liked about the show is that I'm a person with a very short attention span but this show grabbed my attention and I'm almost 57 years old and still love it on Blu-ray I love the music by John Williams back then known as Johnny Williams pre Star Wars day of Raiders of the Lost Ark Harry Potter in Jaws ET. I mean did the writers mess with the show yes they did out of 84 episodes I would probably say 49 are damn well written and put together Jonathan Harris his performances dr. Smith is extraordinary the rest of the cast done a great job as well too. But the writers that I thought were really good Barney Slater was well ahead of his time he made sure there was comical there but not to the point of silliness he had seriousness family bonding all in his episodes maybe one out of 21 that he did didn't have that but every each and everyone did and I always could tell when Barney Road it was great. Packer was good aside from writing the great vegetable rebellion was not a great one by far but I think no matter whether you like it or you didn't what keeps Lost in Space alive today it's because the show had heart you can't kill the show that has heart in Lost in Space will forever hold a big space in my heart my growing-up years I couldn't wait to come home and watch the show it just didn't read me and fantasize me I enjoyed it and if you don't have that you're very extremely sophisticated you're think you're better than thou you just simply won't get to show it on for some people to write on these ratings of wasted time and all that get out of here say that to any other show that's been around as long as Lost in Space let's say how long 56 plus years and counting so obviously it's got something no matter when it gets played when it was on the USA Network it was on for 3 years Non-Stop and USA told me at the time they could not believe when they put it back on and got new 35 mm Prince of the show the amount of people that were calling in saying thank you for putting my favorite show as a kid on they said it was literally its number one morning slot in the country when Lost in Space aired it was averaging in the low 30s but its shares were they kicked butt Lost in Space shared an average of 40 which is literally 40 million viewers I was lost in space didn't get a silly as it did I'm sure a lot of the cast members feel the same but for the most part Lost in Space love you guys the cast the show and my friends now that computes!!!
Lost in Space: Space Creature (1967)
Blooper
Elite writer William Welch does a superb job in this as if all the rest of the writers would have paid attention in this third season would have made Lost in Space and explosive season because this writer did a lot any luck the ceiling is very little but he kept a very serious aside for the back there is one group and blue per year that icon is when the robot is Ben power packs been removed by dr. Smith only one of his claws go down but when John and Don reappear both are down they didn't catch that in the post at it see if you see what I.
Lost in Space: The Prisoners of Space (1966)
Never Fear Smith Is Here
Great story serious and hilarious. Great Job to Writer Barney Slater. Oh the pain! The pain!!
King of Kings (1961)
Superb story of Jesus's Life
Out of all the movies I've watched over my years I can't tell you how much this movie is not only well done but it the touches your heart and soul and when you know you start getting hair jumping from the back of your spine you know that this movie has what it takes Julian inspiration cuz I was to depict and see how Jesus was born trials he went through and the crucifixion and the resurrection which truly covers all aspects from the music score to the actors in the actresses and to how this was filmed in where this is beyond a 10 out of 10 in my book excellent.
The Joker's Wild (1972)
A true classic
This game was extremely popular after its 3 year run on CBS from 1972-75 racking up 686 episodes. Shortly after went into syndication and exploded in popularity. With Game Show Master Jack Barry Emceeing Jack's Partner Dan Enright saw the popularity and immediately went into the works of revamping and in 1977 it returned the devil was moved from prizes in the the 3 yr run to dollar amounts 25 through 200 and a two was placed on a 6ft wheel carousel and ten dollar amounts of the three wheels. In 1981 Detroit made Jokers wild a huge success and was rated number 1 on its 7pm slot for over 4 yrs. After the 1983-84 season days later Jack went to visit his daughter in New York who just returned from a Europe trip. He stated he was going for a jog. And while Jack was jogging he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. It was a sad day on May 2, 1984. In the fall Bill Cullen took over for two seasons. It was never the same. I enjoyed it from day one. A perfect 10 of all game shows.
Press Your Luck (2019)
Rebootxtravaganza
Being a big fan from the 80s with Peter tomarken with Press Your Luck a I never thought reboots could be redone and better very few only like the TV show Lost in Space great classic and the reboot was superb against many critics is it now enters its third and final season however Press Your Luck with house Elizabeth Banks Peter tomarken must be applauding from heaven not only is a show bring back the 80s look the sound effects from the buzzers to the intros the outros obviously David some music upbeat with a new you know music band however what I like even more so it's not just that but when they go to the bonus room and you got five rounds till you get to the big Bonanza round I mean how can you not love this show Elizabeth has done a superb job and I got to say if anyone did an exact duplicate and did very well at it Press Your Luck wins hands down if I could give 20 stars out of 10 I would I would love to be on this show but it's okay watching it is just as funny big bucks no whammies
