I missed the good part in this movie

Starting ok, getting slow - why not, nothing much to see, small set.

You will reveal the plot from the start and you will be just annoyed about the actions of the character. Yes, it is horror and characters should act silly but this one from the base of the set was extremely bad.

Let's say the first part is weird and you still hope it will gets better and maybe you will see some twist.

Unfortunately the twist is that there are some serial killers who don't like killing people and can't sleep after that, having nightmares and being sick.

All that wicked dreaming and imagination made the movie even worst.

One extra start for the first part when you still have hope it won't be trash.

Connect (2022)

Start wasn't bad, there's a lot of holes in story

The start wasn't that bad, bit rushed but ok. There's wierd police investigation, some facts getting from video records but the crucial ones are being ignored. Even more strange situation is with gang and the writer. At the begging you can overlook this but later you'll get frustrated.....

Bit strange is also the whole killer situation, he's going around unseen with complicated "statues", preparing sofisticated traps in public areas, seems to have much more time than anyone around and see everything. On the other hand he doesn't leave a single clue or trace - either by witness or recording from public cam. Getting from the roof is another story.

I don't quite get the high ratings in here. The story doesn't really make any sense, it is simply story with weird illogical twists. How they generate money or losing them or doing good bad or getting equipment is out of the movie. I guess this was the comedy part, like the fire and accident, making profit, having tables outside or barons eating at "gas stations". That romance was unnecessary it is about that she is woman and he is man and she even wants make assassination which the chef would be blamed for. I was waiting for Michelin judges at the end so they could add how they prepare in 2 hours to get 3 stars.

Confusing episode.

Seems the writing team just throwing ideas around without any connections and they all have different timing. Some have just few minutes, some have more than ten, some doesn't even make sense but this has been with us whole season, right.

I know I said they should slow with the space fighting but I was wrong they are definitely better than another Moclus, Charly superiority in everything (no specialist are needed in future if you have Charly with deep blue data processing "talent"), doc romance, Isaac/kaylons not understanding emotions situations.

Few minutes to put bad robots back on good track... Ok ok we need to finish this soon. I know the plot was weird they need more space to expand since they're robots not aging and being produced and not born it is strange, new weapon without any issues and let's risk everyone life's at first test. No need for blueprints or more copies.

Even the genocide of robots? I mean they want to eradicate them and have min two examples in union. Hope here won't be genocide of toasters one day.

I didn't know Seth was/is dating Charly but this explains a lot, he also dated Alara BTW. He is busy man and this is reasonable but push it this hard wasn't necessary or was it?

Seth likes the singing, we know.

3 stars for ok episode, 2 stars for Charly which won't be resurrected I hope.

Is it possible to move on?

This again? How many more times?

Can we get something other than this, maybe some new race to talk about, maybe Cleveland parents visit at ship.

We have again Moclus story about hating their females... Topa being romantically involved which we didn't know she spending times with anyone apart of fathers and preschool.

Illogical process of her kidnapping, rescuing and trial with heveena.

So I guess keylons have lots of time to technically overachive all nations.

Moclus join Krill and wipe Union who deals with gender issues only. That should weaken Moclus and Krill and season 4 will be about kaylons playing chess in empty universe.

We have Dolly to show and sing... Ok.

Finally

Great episodes, jokes reporting for duty and more kaylons explanation which was good.

Who would expect there will be so much gender problems across the galaxies but the start is fun with switching the roles, bit of stupid to be bullying Ed and others which I guess make the transition even hard to explain but OK, this was the weakest point.

The other stories were fun and I love the absurdity of love sex situation there and the final scene was great.

If the other episodes could be at least like that it would be awesome.

I didnt get the wiping memory I mean just uploaded it somewhere do the HW downgrade and let's move on or you really need to make some better explanation like files will get corrupt since the data using coding which our HW can't translate or something.

Enjoyed it.

It was good episode even Charly still had to show how big hatred she feels against Isaac (which is getting boring - would be better if she made some jokes on his behalf or cursing him, I don't think we need to be reminded constantly by those dialogs).

This episode dilema was good even the choice/solution was on table the whole time and I didn't even understand what was the reason for second visit.

It is still nice bikers prefer short term love over the bikes and bet on it without blinking of an eye.

Twist or info update about Charly's supervisor isn't really surprising since these days demand it. It could be use in next romantic episodes so it could have value.

The Orville: A Tale of Two Topas (2022) Season 3, Episode 5

Boring

There were few episodes about this so another one already was bit surprising.

This dilema and changing to be open minded... OK but we have 3 series and already several of those episodes. Can we just explore stuff around, seems Seth is going in circles.

We should get some funny silly episodes, I understand it is hard to be original nowadays. But their version of finding new device switching minds of the crewmembers around could be fun, same like find new technology with impenetrable forcefield where the tester doesn't know how to turn it off and can't eat.

This episode is easy to forget and why to recycle in 3rd season already.

Decent episode

It was good, plot was attractive, there was a twist. Overall good.

I had similar issues with the logic like Cthlyte.

Elections were super fast and president of the union and representatives coming in one ship is the wet dream of every fanatic soon to be in charge after cheating in elections.

Story and s nice and maybe could use more time.

Other thing is those huge space battles, I understand we will have better construction processes and tech to build things faster but it always feels like losing more than half of the ships of the whole nation. Writing seems to the new standards but missing the charm of the previous series. Maybe it's just feeling from long waiting.

Getting better

Standard episode, expected, even I guess we all thought it will be based on their memories from childhood, but the first scenario with the beast were strange.

Death experience was mostly passout experience.

I understand energy weapons but wouldn't be better to have knives or classical p90 like the "cousins" are using? It would take more twists and turns but also make more sense.

Q introduced - checked. Reason for all this... yea... Meh

Fun is still missing and space fights are about flying in circles and getting hits.

Seems like half of the episode can be skipped since there is nothing new and not even funny, would be great to have some jokes around based on other sci-fi titles.

Hey new girl has some lines. Still don't see why she's there and another human but ok, maybe more romance episodes are coming.

Admiral joining you to sector never seen before, step in with first scounting team.

"his DNA changing rapidly" let's put him on table in medbay, stasis chamber or at least special room for quarantine is not needed at all even we know it was some particles flying in air.

Changed admiral still using high level codes (hope our future civilization is not using "password" "asd123" or "pa$$word" or we are lost).

This new season is maybe starting real slow to later compensate and overachive previous seasons.

The Orville: Electric Sheep (2022) Season 3, Episode 1

Weak start

Let's hope this was the worst episode. All episodes can't be blast which is reasonable but this could be just skippable. New character which I don't see reason for but I guess we need someone next to Gordon to return the dialog back to mains.

The plot is weird since we know what happened in previous series and the look at Issac is weird especially if he helped you not to be eradicated since he made a bond with humans. I understand someone lost someone but you are member of army - those starship can be for "exploring" but it still part of earth forces.

Special ability of new girl... I mean... Come on.

Try new ship shooting around in shipyard.

One of the boys who was one of the closet to Issac turn the back on him is... Weird.

Let's hope for the best with other episodes.

Industry (2020– )

Nothing about trading

Newbies should try hard to get full-time jobs, instead they're doing everything else possible. There's lots of sex situation, guys full frontal, lots of oral - not really as progression or character development but as filler. Not worth to watch, tried 4 episodes - not going anywhere, feels like 1st episode all over.

The Batman (2022)

It was good and refreshing, different Batman

The movie is ok.

There is not that many gadgets, no powers, more down to earth. Batman is more like private detective cooperating with police trying to solve mysterious serial killer.

So far so good. Moment of suprise and twist is wierd since from beggining we see killer passsing messages for Batman.

First murders make sense but can confused you in which favor help who. To be honest after revelation of some info I would take vacation as batman - city would clear itself.

Movie was really long but still you miss a lot about some characters and I didnt really see from where the romance is comming from.

The way how they solve things is ... ok but seems like they all have the same script :-). Motives in first half made sense but for Wayne family didnt work. I mean he drop huge pile of money, why to hide Martha story, he didnt kill anyone by himself and yet you will attack son who is not even slightly involved (look how much money Wayne family provided to city).

There's few scenes on daylight but it is not so bad since we know batman is creature of the night.

As i said it was refreshing to see different angle of the Batman when everybody is just human and Batman has some tools - ok one scifi gadget was there - Batman hit print and printer starts immediately printing, i dont think we will see anything like that in near futere.

Over all good movie, not best.

The Motive (2020–2021)

This document is about one boy killing his own family. TL/DR at the end.

Document is called motive - word missing didnt make it to the distribution. Defender is keep saying he knows it but wont tell - bit arogant and saying he's playing chess and thinks 10 rounds ahead.

He succeed it with boy and "won" because kiddo got only 9years for killing 4 members of his family and right to inherit everything (if it was murder he couldn't).

We keep seeing bit from Papillon movie - where they are in lazareth and young guy being mollested.

Everybody says he is great, super intelligent - well also emotineless. Also he is easy of being possesed by green beings whispering about killing his family.

Document is super long, unfortunately most interesting parts are without speach but music only.

In the last part we got "more insight" - father was probably like Jackil and Hide - beating sisters but not kiddo because he was like a prince of the house.

Kiddo - after he got out - said he hated himself for being passive and didn't help. Now you understand what happend in 1-2 episode before when one of the detective said "he wanted to save/help his sisters by killing them?!", To be honest he got out, young, free, with house and family money and only desire is to not being blamed/point at on the streets. Lets make up a story to defend myself.

Wierd he didnt do that before. When they did recap of what happend he didnt show any emotions and was even proactive - he wasn't even possesed this time so he could be more touched. Even when they took him to graveyard... nothing. At the end he said he is much stronger without the family and he's doing better - and even won heart of documentary lady *wink*.

TL/DR So kid is psychopat, wants to live by himself.

Watching movie when they pretend they are lunatics to get out from prison/get better conditions. And is fan of police work.

Killing = right to inherit, murder = no right to inherit.

Defender knows everything but wont tell - he is the best in the universe. Helping kid to get money and tell him what to do (free of charge for sure *wink*)

Kid got out, made up "why" to get away from the public & living good.

Lets hope he wouldn't do anything worse in upcomming years.

The only thing im missing is how the hell he could kill everyone without them getting up. I thought he drugged them. Only the last sister got up but he shot her in the head in the middle of the sentence. He used M16 in the house... Now you dont need to see this long miniserie.

It was recommended to me and someone even said they watched it with parents and they don't want to see it again - i thought it was because of this strong and sad story, but it is definitely because of the way how it was done. I understand director, Kurt, had to cut it to one and half hour but he is really bad film maker.

This document is about fascinating/unbelievable crime, parents who lost their baby (2x) fighting against bad laws, bad system in Canada and several poor decision by important people who deciding about others AND about Kurt who wanna be film maker, how he traveled and met people, about his lost friend, how he tried to get someone to interview but well it was just one call in one evening AND about killing selfish monster who did horrible things and who hurt a lots of people and left her kids behind, trying to ruin even more lifes AND about great guy who was loved by everyone seems and didn't have time to.meet his son and through this we want to tell him how great his dad was from his even faaaaaar distant family

I'm not sure what you need to take to speed yourself up with to follow most of the parts. His far cousins and Kurt's off topic comments wasn't necessary for sure. Important parts like investigation, court decisions, experts talking, official police reports were fly through. Even the most important things, like last ride, was super-rapid-gattling-shot through. Super quick cuts, not needed overlapping comments from distant people or someone from UK, shots of Kurt meeting people or just travelling. Unnecessary effects or repeating was just bad.

That book could be better and for us is more like commercial to get the book or look for more information. Would be great if someone, as more experienced director, did the story .. so we would get more details about the story.

I would recommend to watch it but be prepared to scream over the way its done.

The Witches (2020)

Original is maybe old but still great and for kids scary enough without overacting. This has some moments, some CGI is good but mostly is bad and feels rushed. Scenes taking long and missing the surprised effect, forced jokes and "funny" moments ruined atmosphere. Can't recommend.

Last Night in Soho (2021)

The start is promising, unfortunately it turns to chaos and cliche with visions and "I'm not crazy". First half is slightly better and yes the visualization was nice. Story and also the "twist" is bad and ofc changes at the end to have some explanation, still didn't make sense. Not sure where the horor part is, wasn't in my version - if they didn't mean the length of the movie - that was scary and with each minute of second half it's getting worse.

I must say i was looking for this - fan of Dwayne and Ryan, used to be fan of Gal but I'm getting tired of her "acting". The movies is... Well not great, lots of plot holes, teleportation, everyone's super smart but always got tricked. Why even got for third if you should first steal 2 from gal. Following someone. This is more like movie for kids. Just don't think about it and let it on, browse on your phone. I hoped Dwayne will go berserk and break some necks but no. I also start to think that writers really believe that kick 120kg muscle guy is like blowing candle.

Chaos Walking (2021)

Well i wasnt really super excited about it so im not super disappointed of the quality of this. Plot is strange and kind of weak, they include several topics but didnt really explain or progress in more than chase for the lady to get starship and control the planet with it.... Errrr mkay. We are at strange planet where first wave of human colonists landed and men has their thoughts projected around them, not for ladies. Tom is playing character.... Named.... Damn i know they said it in the beginning but... It was... T something... Lets that be lesson to all creaters to repeat main character's name at least several times. Jokes a side repeating his name was annoying and stupid since by that everyone knows he's hiding something. There are locals... Mysterious... Caused big thing in the story... Well theres not much about them unfortunately even we saw they react differently to cosmic lady, unfortunately creators decided not to explained it. There's huge twist... Well pretty much obvious after 10mins from the start so not really a surprised either in the revelation in the middle of the story and even more stupid is that it wasnt done by one guy but all of them... I mean like they were ok that their wives and sisters were included... And even after that they didnt move to another camp or just run away from evil man. How they want to survived without women and having babies? Story has so many holes and action is... Like speed walking in forest so it cant really pull you out of those nonsenses. Characters are wierd, evil guy can influence minds of others for shortime somehow even nobodyelse can do it, he is also the only one reaching level grandmaster wizard in illusion but somehow being twice fooled by others... Because. Tom's dad knows everything but even being super nice he seems to be rather threat like a garbage in evil village near evil man who badly influences his son. Wicked fanatic priest.... Who came on spaceship is talking about women being witches without souls... He probably hit his head super hard during landing. Idea wasnt bad just execution, characters, acting... Well everything was bad and hard to believe even the acting.

Police is not doing anything, our super lead detective is lame and illogical most of the time. Plot is revealing over time but it creates holes in characters and their behaving. This is super stupid and pretty much obvious what happend. Avoid this. I dont understand the budha lady and why she has her status if shes not doing anything, I guess shes there because shes the only one having the script with her whole time. Nice scenery.

Invincible: We Need to Talk (2021) Season 1, Episode 7

After weak E6 this was much better but the logic seems to disappearing

If Amber knew the whole time who Mark really is "cos shes not stupid" why she was mad him being often late? Why she was angry he didnt help during the cyber attack? If shes not stupid she understands he was saving lives and helping others so why to be so hard on him? It looks like teenage soap opera having more and more space since Robot is also having nice part there. Potato in the jar story was.... well ok i guess.. i mean ok he wants to have a way with monster girl... but why he needs clones to that? They even admit their machine cant handle such a brilliant brain (super-dense-intelligence) as potato has - he can figure it out by himself, why let some prison guards die to date monster girl who just looks younger. Why didnt he used this super robots and more of them at the same time before? He didnt need to have a body for that, I mean those aliens would kill less civilians that time - but i guess teen drama will buy some time to dont reveal the plot which we are still waiting for. Fighting scenes were good and gore is refreshing but this time it feels like filling the minutes of the episode to move the story away - i mean some explain some bits to his wife wouldnt hurt if they didnt want to they should give them less time to talk about it. They should save some more with investigation by Omnimans wife to make it more interesting and shouldnt speed with that one (tailor can indentify everything). The whole Immortal ressurection didnt make sense at all... why they didnt try to attached it like Clones did? They even prepared it (plate for head, securing the neck). And even more how it was so obvious for all the peeple watching news that Immortal was just doing his revange and when Omniman kills it second time it automaticaly means he did it first time - seems like they were watching some episodes too, ha! Still good show just losing the story a bit, hope people are really enjoying it in full picture and not dropping 10/10 because of the gore. Edit: Hope Omni killed the last Cyborgs, Im not sure how others feel about them but Invicible and Omni having troubles with collegue students with some robotic enhacments feels wierd - i know Cecil said it is nice piece of technology but com'on one time Inv and Omni throwing away meteors and second time cant handle this in one swing... wierd or give them some super source of energy.

... 2,5 hours.... Only standoff scene and carpenter scene were good rest is just.... Nothing. Slow boring not necessary for the story ... Tragic. Vince is good, mel is ok. Story ok - well not the young scar face boy - gave money to his mom, she got fired... His brother playing games... And he deserves money. You have gun to your face and still have enough time to pull out gun and kill someone - wanted phone with video made sense. Don't expect anything and have loong after with your phone near by and it will be ok.

Radioactive (2019)

What was this movie about?

Did they just found new facts from their life? I thought this movie will be about the science work maybe more about their progress and how they didn't take a patent etc but this movie have only tiny fragments and everything is speed it up and seems it is more about fighting for women rights and being woke. Cross the story by atomic bombs and catastrophie in chernobyl to make even more mess - she and her husband are not even behind anything like that, not sure movie makers were aware of that. I understand it needs to be dramatic to keep viewers interested but com'on this is being teach in all schools and you can't be this off. Tragic ... Avoid it if you can and let's hope for better story in similar movie.

Promising start.... Seems writers didn't know what to do

What a ...shot... show. Illogical and everything based on luck and almost zero evidence and mistakes done police. Each character mental rollercoaster made it hard to make it believable. Ending is circus
