This is FANTASTIC. Scary too. 2 main characters are brilliant. It's so true "Life is Stranger than Fiction" you could not make this up.

A place where the best stories come. Every day reality.

To be taken out into this world is such a education in itself. A warning a reassurance and from afar enjoyable.

But it's based on a True Story!

Let's start. Every tradedy begins where you see no danger.

Gary/Donnie is sympathetic. Easy meat in London, failing to get his dream started.

Marta is on the run, out in the a anomous mix. But nobody can leave their past behind them with the Digital Trail.

Teri is so real, honest, attractive.

Donnie, well Teri nails him in one. Needy.

Aren't we all?

We know from the off the Police can only end this.

But it's the twists. Unexpected is not sufficient.

One of the tricks female stalker's make is their target a man will be ashamed to admit, report what's happening. How could you let a woman terrorise you?

This is one of the most disturbing tales you can imagine.

Horrible Trash
30 April 2024
I've watched about 10 mins of 5 episodes. It's not fair on everyone who worked on this but it's a terrible.

Billy Wilder told us Content. They can make all the quicker, cheaper ways to make stuff but if it crap, it's crap. And a plot from a Game doesn't give this great pedigree. No matter how much money is thrown at it.

Wide eyed and stupid Daddy searcher Lucy is the Star. Good ol' boy Walt Googins must have been paid very well, too well but hey it's Hollywood. What used to pass for Hollywood anyway.

Oh . One of my faves Mr Matt Berry. Long way from *Darkplace* Maybe not.

What are all the grads with Creative Writing Degrees doing, not creating for sure.

This is a mess. To say it's all over the place is kind.

Every show about the future is Bleak Hell. Just a different flavour this time.

I can't find anything nice about this.

Hard to Fathom

Spoliler---- I'm Irish.

Now the Irish Times slaughtered this. Somehow this was put about as the new "Fleabag" Well lets put that to rest right now.

We Irish with our new found wealth are very sensitive about how others view us, a certain snobbishness about how others portray us. If we're not ultra cool, Euro trash with ponytails we're insulted. Well some are.

A few good Irish actors show themselves now and again. Hope you've been paid and paid well for this, you wont be getting invites to any Dalkey soirees or even to St Bono Salon.

Of course the Irish lads are either drunks or poetic sympathy Gods.

What's going on is beyond my comprehension.

I've really tried to say something positive but its hard when nothing happens.

Dont hold your breath for Series 2 .

While The Cats Away.. Tom Will Play
7 April 2024
It's the best thing I've seen on netflix. That's fair enough right?

Ok.. some of the competition has been lousy.

But this is good. Really good.

Right now we seem to have a number of extraordinarily talented people at the very top of any and all the various creative profession's Ok. Back to "Ripley".

Andrew Scott is A Psycho.. OK.. A Brilliant Psycho.

The magnificent raw material Patricia Highsmith gave us must have been daunting for any Production Company.

The legacy of Anthony Minghella 1999 film only increased that.

The character that is Ripley is so complicated, so many things to so many people makes describing him personal.

Andrew is so fantastic. He must be as brave as a lion to have taken on this role with all the baggage it brings.

Making it in Black and White when our memory of *The Talented* is full of such colour is smart. Jude Law and Andrew Scott are so different is also smart.

This is a completely new take on this story of a man on the fringe of everything in society. He sucks the fruit out of all he encounters.

A modern Vampire for the Atomic age.

The cinematography, staging, costume all brilliant.

I'm not going to binge watch this. One episode at a time to savour all its angles.

Number one slowly builds the momentum.

Introduction of Marge and Dickie another slow burner.

It only gets better.

I'll watch it many times.

Bella in Bedlam!
19 March 2024
March 18 Well I've watched it twice and Emma Stone's performance is off the upscale her travelling (Mark Ruffalo) her companion is very annoying. Willem Dafoe is as mad as ever.

Its one of those films that in times past you would go to many times.

I cant decide if its fantasy or satire, maybe a small point but it does get plenty of digs into morals of both then and now. Hypocrisy, conceit, double standards, woman held by men as trophy's. Its all here.

The character of Martha is brilliantly played but a lazy type cast, Harry Astley is even worse. The black man with all the answers, all the sympathy. It too is lazy.

Now the cinematography is magnificent, staging, costumes all outstanding, the amount of thought that has gone into the production might give you an indication of the time Yorgos Lanthimos spent bringing this to screen.

Watch and saviour if this type of story is your cup of tea. It kept me guessing on how Bella's romp may turn out.

Would I have paid to see it twice.. No.

What A Gem...It'll Run And Run
17 March 2024
After watching the complete series.. More Please. Its a HIT. And for that.. Come Front of Stage .. The Writers. Its nails it.. Makes a "Carry On" Gone.. Piss takers of the world unite!

What a gem, surprised. Yeah. Mighty Boosh went nowhere for me. This romp nods at every crazy trope in our society. Writing team must have live near some very large chemical plant. I'll say no more. Or... Be talented. Take your pick.

Has Noel Fielding found a character that fits his *aura* Ellie White is as always brilliant. Can make any character memorable But it's Marc Wootton who does best. Known from a few very dodgy quickly forgotten "comedy's" he too is a revelation.

And then there's the rest of the cast.

Every one is solid British comedy gold plated.

There's something about the way it goes anywhere. All and any plot device is fair game. Jumping around like a (I'm thinking substantace add-ons again) Dad the butcher. Mr Downton himself as "Thief Taker/Corrupte Copper" Tasmin Greg as .. who knows, she can play bossy better than anyone.

4 episode's in and I'm dying to learn the faith of Dick and co in the last 2 shows.

I almost resisted the temptation of using the double entendre DICK.

CARRY ON EVERYONE.

Its Hokum but I'm enjoying it
11 March 2024
March 11 I know it's Hokum. But its good Hokum. Kate Winslet looks like she's having a blast. So too Andrea Riseborough, she was brilliant in "Death Of Stalin" and the other English actors involved do farce better than most.

It's political message passed right over me but I'm not some metropolitan sophisticate. God that's a mouthful.

There's some real heavy hitters in the production department. None quite as large as Stephen Frears. He can point fun at almost everyone except his "German Royal Family" Arise Sir Steve!

Some day, some hope Ok. Is it Ukraine that's getting the London leftie once over.

Let's get back to The Chancellor and the Corporal. Hint Hint. I've no idea.

2 episodes in. You begin to feel something is rotten in the state of state of Denmark Our Corporal has some nasty tendencies.

I'll say no more than that.

Ok. Chancellor Elana should not be turning her back on this guy.

The US Diplomatic Corp are cardboard cutout money is the solution to all your problems.

I'm confused and I'm not alone.

Hang in there viewers.

Kate knows what she's doing.

They don't come much better
14 February 2024
Know lots see the message of Houstons film making is the philosophical effects of modern civilization on the modern Man. How chasing your dreams corrupts man and the dollar is nothing in comparison to the companionship of your fellow human beings. But that's the brilliance of movie's. It entertains in the moment and brings you back to an examination of the story on the way home. Maybe it's why in times past people would see the same movie more than once.

It's a cracking yarn. As with any movie casting is crucial. Walter Houston (Howard) is magnificent. The life he lead (authenticity I think it's called) burns through the struggle, makes everything so revealing, real. Bogart and Holt (Dobbs, Curtin) give you a pair to root for. You know its coming but still you hope both will be able to see what they had and what they could have if friendship is the equal of wealth. Mine collapse scene is when it turns. Curtin hesitates, that might have stayed true, even him. The next scene Dobbs is seen going to hide his "goods". Gold is in Charge. We're in act 2. Suspicion, The sanity of Dobbs is unsettling. Howard continues to try to keep the partners together. Curtin is unbalanced now. Twice he saves Dobbs, but that's not enough.

It's every man for himself. Survival of the lucky, the hardest.

We finally get to the message of what is the panacea for all our ills. Other humans. Others company. Being accepted. Validated. Howard lying stretched out with people, finding that he is needed. A place in this world.

Bookie (2023– )

Place a little cash on this running
29 January 2024
Well I'm hooked.. it's fast.. funny (sometimes) the cast seem to be having a blast. So what's not to like. Ok. Reality .. check.. As someone who grew up with a relative who in hindsight was a monstrous gambler. The money. It's nowhere.

It's not about the life of a Bookmaker. There are in the "rules" like welching on bets. You don't get another bookie giving you credit or odds if you have stiffed one of the fraternity.

But can't go any further without saying *gambler's* are some of the most time conscious people you will ever meet. Every thing is the next race, game, punt. And that's where the "Bookie" misses a real opportunity. So much comedy could be rinsed out of two guys running, hustling trying to get this bet on, cursing they did or not.

Other thing. Our guys. Costume department mistake, prop department mistake. The guys who are in this racket never miss a mirror. The front you show is what keeps you playing. U As long as you can roll them again. Life's good. It's a thing that swings. Your on credit the whole way.

Our two protagonists. Bill and Bob,Tweedledum Tweedledee. They click. It's a good double act. Scrip and cast are good too. Chuck Lorre can do buddy..man/ child stuff. His phone book must be legendary in Hollywood.

He pulls in some great actors that we love, don't know their names but we feel comfortable when they appear. Wayne Knight. Anything he puts his hat on works. Character actors they used to be called. You can just wheel them in and hey presto. Magic.. it just happens.

Napoleon (2023)

What could have been. Disappointing
15 January 2024
After going to see it twice and thinking on it, I love history, historical fiction and biographies.. Lincoln Is the modern benchmark for me. Maybe have a look at Gladiator, that film even if you're eyes are closed moved me. It's musical score alone made it magnificent.

When you look back at the film Waterloo with Rod Stieger.. brilliant epic movie making at it's best.

My anticipation for Scott's film was maybe a little too high. And I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with Scott's version of a man who changed the world. How could you inspire a nation, take solders beyond what is possible, and be a morose, introvert?

Where is the frustration with other mortals , impatience with the world His belief in his destiny is only glimpsed.ayb Maybe when the film is released in it's entirety we'll see the whole story, Scotts real narrative.

Josephine is a well rounded character and is.. well sad, not a woman who made it out of the revolution. Directory, Empire. A woman who inspired a legend. At times it's a soap opera.

Napoleon was a man who brought his family all the way with him and they are on the periphery of this movie. The only scene where Napoleon is shown to be the legendary figure he is was the coronation. Now we got him there. Arrogance, vanity. Front and center. What about his dictation of 40 letters a day, could the a silent man do that.

This man was unique, a one off not a normal type that is portrait by Joaquin phoenix. He is good enough an actor to have gotten hold of this enigma, proven what a talent he is. There's no problem with the production, costumes, sets, locations all wonderful. Every scene is carefully designed. Where the legend begins Napoleon..the Battle of Austerlitz, magnificent. Borodino just as good.

But the film left me cold. Awful pity when you think what could have been.

Fincher/Fassbinder Death Ride
9 December 2023
Watching this is a vision of the growth of... Hes at the height of his profession. The star Michael Fassbender who gives the audience performance's to remember.

Directed by David Fincher from a screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker.

The Smiths best tracks rock along with the lyrics setting up the absurdity in glorious gory detail.

It is maybe a bit dark but you can't help being engrossed and intrigued in this lifestyle of murder. The preparation for each kill is wonderful. It's insight brings the little things front and center. There's a hint of Leon and a few others. But it's Fassbender voice that haunted me. His coldness. What drives him. It's not money. It's the hunt. And this is the winning theme. It shows how for all our sophisticated lifestyles. We have not progressed past our primeval past.

Now if you're able to look past th hookie plot of the *murder Inc*. It's got some real holes in the plot. And the Tilda Swinton character (why) the character Fassbinder plays is a car crash movie character. You can't take your eyes off him.

I enjoyed it.

Why Bother
7 December 2023
Well who knew.. to get the love of a woman all you need is to lavish lots o treats on her. A real moral of the holiday season. Or even life. If you have lots of stuff you can acquire affection. Horrible Christmas morality tale. Even the kid gets corralled in to the merchantile message.

I know Messila McCarthy has a terrible agent (well I don't know this but she has been in some real stinkers) is hopeless in this. The Scottish bloke Alan Cummings looks like he's not been paid enough for him to give us even one of comedy tricks. Now Dickie Curtis wrote this. He's the current holder of British Rom Com franchise, he's taking his *shtick* over the pond in an attempt to broaden the business model.

It doesn't work.

In the interest of serious journalism I willed away or ensured 24 minutes. It's still a mystery how this is so awful Avoid. If it's a Christmas movie you're looking for. It's A Wonderful Life is available.

Obituary (2023– )

Grey. Ireland's Colour Of Life.
2 October 2023
Episode 1: So off we go. Our female protagonist/lead is the death notice writer in small town Ireland. Surprisingly a topic of huge interest around these parts. Funerals are more than an "Irish Wake". You meet people you haven't seen in years. Great chance to place your bets on who might be next. Our grave yard punter is an enigma. That's unusual.

The organ Elvira works at.. is.. another surprise laying off staff.

Spoiler: I'm Irish. And know all about this morbid fascination with the dead. Sure no better man than Joyce himself wrote a classic called "The Dead".

The premise of this show is clever. Have to give the writer (West of Ireland native Ray Lawlor) props for the idea. This virgin of TV production has a something that could run and run. Everybody dies. You can't defame the dead. The obituary can go anywhere.

The cast of characters are good. Production good. Ok it's a little slow. But in modern binge watching that's not a bad thing. It kinda lures you in. It will get better.

Ireland's byways and lay-bys are full of great material. I'm always reminded of an Irish classic "The Butcher's Boy". Shows the town clown in the most brutal way.

Evil deeds are a foot.

I'm staying with *The Obituary* Will you???

P. S. I would't have told Mr. Lawlor any secrets Castlebar.. He'll tell the world...

26 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
OK. This propoganda piece of hokum is funded by MI5/Buck House or more likely Broadmoor Asylum for the Criminally Insane.

It's the only way it makes sense. Here we go. Let's rewrite history: From a barn every cartoon baddie been told to start WWI as a means to Scottish independence.

Cut to Sarajevo, we have the proto "M" beside Sophie and the Arch Duke.

1st rewrite. Cut to Kaiser Billy and Csar Nicky. Don't ask. It's the Rasputin show. What I want to know is how much Ralph Fenines was paid. He says and I had to hear it 3 times "I'm not sure that's cricket". Oh and we have that beauti "The Zimmerman Telegram" here we're told it saved lives. Brits got it Jan 1917. Let Yanks know April.

Timeline 1917: Jan. Turkey denounced Berlin Treaty.

Feb. "Unrestricted" U-Boat war begun.

Feb. America broke with Germany.

Feb. British recaptured Kut-el-Amara.

March 11. British entered Bagdad.

March 12. Revolution in Russia.

March 15. Abdication of the Czar.

March 18. British entered Péronne.

We are led to believe Woodrow Wilson couldn't believe the "HUN" were so dastardly.

So now Conrad (our hero, son of Ralph/M) is in the trenches. With who.. He's in some Scottish regiment with lots of cunning, treasonous Scotsmen.

What happened next in no man's land well we have Conrad wearing the skirt killing numerous Germans in a wonderful knife fight then a man who has his leg blown off consoles Conrad who unburdens himself of his daddy issues. Fella with one leg tells him to go home and be a hero. Conrad picks him up and they run through a hale of machine gun fire. I'm not making this up. But enter Cockney Geezer with "Jesus Christ you're amazing" hero says "I must carry on the mission" Cue. Crazy Scotsman shots hero in the forehead. Ralph gives us his best tragic piece of over acting. Clutching photo of Conrad while Shola (Juba from Gladiator) looks on admiring. Hes a butler. Enough said.

Don't worry we still have 40 minutes left and Marta Hari, Adolf Hitler have not made their appearance yet. You heard me right. Adorable Adolf has a part too.

Ralph is a wreak. The king has to change his name. England is doomed. But Conrad gets the VC. And a good northern lass puts Ralph straight. Pull yourself together. "Be the man you're son would have been". She quits. Kisses Ralph. But you can't walk out on Ralph. He wants a cup of tea.

I'm not making this up So we're into act 3. Northern lass has put an agent into the Whitehouse. All the butlers are bent.

Ralph is in a mission.

Last scene.... YES.. They all sit around a table and MI6 is born. King Georgie is a founding member.. You couldn't make this up.

BRILLANTTIO.. EXCEPIONAL// WATCH
14 September 2023
Exceptional Film In a time of madness for Nolan to have brought this to us now, we can be so thankful. Aimed squarely at our military industrial complex. The "intelligence community" which gives it the target this is a story that should be shown to every school kid.. young and old as aren't we all students and if we're not we're dead.

I loved Oppenheimer. I watched it alone. Didn't want to have any interruptions. It was too short. I wanted more.

All that has been said about this Film is correct and more. It stays with you. Rattles around your head. An epic achievement by all concerned. The main plaudits will go to Nolan and Murphy. Rightly so. As Robert Downey Jr said Cillian is in almost every scene. The technical mastery of the art shows Nolan at the very height of his profession. Both may look back and say "it was worth the effort" But like the bomb this is the work of many.

And all can look back at a brilliant achievement.

Thank you.

A Classic "English Black Comedy" You have to laugh
12 September 2023
A Classic "English Black Comedy" You have to laugh Well Miss Reid.. who knew you were a tart. And she kills it. From scene ONE. We're off on a trip. It's an ageless, magnificent English comedy as only they can do. Farce, black comedy and more, so much more. The characters. How did Beryl and Harry Andrews have the guts to do it. This is Harry from Ice Cold In Alex. Played Upper Crusts all his career. Then this manic. But everyone's mad in Joe Orton world.

Confession time I watched this for the first time as a young boy with my mother as she laughed her head off. Me ... Embarrassed not a bit of it.

Back to Mr Sloan. Every word is a gem. Every word has so much meaning. Double, Multiples. It rips along and the brother/sister switch around in their affection/hate/dominant/submission/up .. down and anyway you want. The opening scene for each of the 4 lead's are brilliant. We get them. Get them in what ever works for you. McEnery, ok he's not a perfect Mr Sloan. But he is up against 2 fantastic actors revelling in what was the performance of their careers. He does have to be in almost every scene after all. Dada. Ok. He's annoying. But it's Reid and Andrews who are so funny, sad, Kath and Ed. As sad, weird, fuuny, needy pair as you'll ever find in cinema. But you have to laugh.

Watch this. You'll learn about England, the secretive, crazy people who lived in the home counties with their double lives, fantasy's and sadness.

An the theme song my Georgie Fame.

Its an invasion of my memory
11 September 2023
Only reason watching this is for the few times decent bit of music comes in from "Joy Division" (showing my age) it's really a jumble of every piece of sci-fi that has come before it in the hope if the producers throw enough at us some will stick and nostalgia will keep all of us engaged. Those English estuary kids.. agh. The dysfunctional US/Asian family AGH. There's so many holes in the plot giving it even the bare minimum of my attention up they pop. Is it to make the viewers feel cosey, to like the familiar? With the huge number of people involved in the making of these shows it has to be a conscious decision. If your really stuck its a maybe.

Its A Cracker
4 September 2023
Its A Cracker What can anyone say about this piece of nonsense but sit back and immersion yourself in a technical masterpiece, think how quickly the "art" of creating the moving image has evolved since GOT.

Film is not what it used to be that's for sure. With modern home audio/visual equipment this show is astonishing. Now forget the rings and buzzers. The plot. The usual. The inspirational individual takes up arms against the monsterious conglomerate. The cast are such a mixed bag of accents. If you want to know who's who.

Upper class English = Good.

Regional British Isles = Colourful American = Bad

As long as the show stays away from the mumbo jumbo about Harry and his sums. Sorry Mathematics it rocks along merrily. The two priests are .. Goodness, Gracious, Me. Maybe this is the comeback of the clerical class is popular culture. They are terrific.

Can't say the same about the two heroines. One is dead, but alive and the other is the mother (this could be back to front) Jared Harris is great. But it's Lee Pace who steals every scene he's in. His two clones do ok. His queen, is she super smart, naive, vulnerable! Crazy. Who knows. Apple have bet the farm on this and I for one love this show. The soundtrack should also get a nod as its one of the best. Watch and enjoy.

Boring
1 June 2023
What's The FUSS After hearing awful things about this film. The problem with telling these types of stories is the life we now lead is so far removed from our world. You can't judge it against say "VIKING" It's plainl has a political agenda that is front and center. NoMisunderstandings.

The Chapter structure is great, with what little dialogue it keeps the characters development easy to follow. Now I adore Nicole Kidman. But Who advised her to get involved in this? Alexander S of Succession fame is the lead and he just stumbles and mumbles about. Kind of the same as the Scans I've met. We're so cool evolution is moving us backwards. Remember this is in our minds is guy who won all the marbles in Succession. He's the Tech Billionaire- ConMan - Romeo - Alpha Male. In this he mumbles. And his sidekick with the beard. Repeat one word he said. Ebba, ABBA, l wasted 2 hours I watching this. Avoid.

It Gets Worse
1 June 2023
God awful Big Money Thrown TV series from upside down land. Torture. Watching It.

For F sake. Those Abraham Bros get in some scrapes.. (whats the deal with Aussies and criminals, the Ned Kelly malarkey is boring) Based on some Weird Swept Away Hair Fantasy The Cross is all it's billed, Crucifixion now please. We have tart with heart. Tragic hero druggie. And Many Many More Cut Outs From Central Casting. OK some money has been spent but that Main Street is used so often it is criminal. Story is in the whole rotten, stay home with your cable TV. And be entertained. No.

Its done very badly. It's part of a wave of dismissal TV that has to be expected. All that bandwidth has to be filled. With the length of it each episode an hour it's just not going to be watched. You find yourself fast forwarding at any opportunity. I gave up on three episodes, missed nothing, and then only watched half of each of next two. Sorry if you if invest the time in this..... it's rubbish Try and stay up at night doing something else I wouldn't watch this. For the New breed of Australian actors this is the kiss of death.

Lesson learnt
14 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Hello Tomorrow (TV Show) Confession.. I posted my thoughts on this show after watching one and half episodes. Yes, you have permission to slaughter me. But I had presumed with a budget and stars it could only get better. Was I wrong. What is this show. A kitchen sink family drama, a critique on us biz practises (but when) straight Sci-Fi. What ever. Hank seemed to know this is trash first. Poor Billy Cudrup kept up the pretence till the bitter end. I do have to say the set design, art direction are good. But it's like they bawl out at the Oscars "I knew I had to be in this movie after I read the first page" Does nobody read scripts anymore. Just contracts.

Watch this at your perl. The time spent watching is gone. You'll never get it back.

Gaga > Ubber
26 January 2023
The story of the Gucci family.. where they that crazy.. aren't all families nuts in their own way. But its Gaga who steals it all. A Star is Born. Maybe in this show. Pacino is not aging well. But who is.. However Jeremy Irons and Jared Leto are bloody wonderful. Leto. He doesn't give a dam, the more grotesque the part the more he dives in.

Cheaply made movie that shows a little of the smoke and mirror of modern branding were you pay $5000 for a bag worth, well whatever the sucker will pay. Would have liked that sham shown. But did enjoy the movie. And if you don't know what happens, DO NOT PEAK.. You will enjoy the final reel so much. Arrivederci.

Loved it. Watch It
23 January 2023
Just finished the last eps and should digest the show before I write but as a fan of the John Ford Westerns I have to say this is what TV can do at it's v best. Emily Blunt. Well dont be sad but you'll never have a role like it again, or a leading man in C. S. Its not the wild scenes of the west. That hardly intrudes. Or the supporting cast. The list or fantastic Irish actors (Had to say it as an Irish man) Stephen Rea, Ciarán Hinds Brilliant. But he's gone early. Stephen hangs about passing judgement on all and sundry. God its an awful sad tale.

But its the story. The English. All the White People.. That seems to be what its about. And its a story that needs telling. A right proper epic. This is not it.

Its a private tale or loss, everybody looses in this version of the Western. Billy tells us that from the start. Long gone is the lovable rouge of Stanley Holloway, the story of the building of the New World now has its Al Swearengen types. The London Cockney's in 2020's story telling is always a bast***.

Lady Locke from an Estate is no Lady either.. Cant be in this West. Its a bloody mess that is hard to follow at times. Well this lad found himself back tracking to know what's what. Only modern TV series allow that I suppose. I really liked the orginality of the whole thing though, the better read amoung you will be shaking your head.

It handles so many folds of late 1800's life and interaction. From the way Indian life, all life is so cheap, the violence that is hard wired into American society to this day and had to be to tame such as place.

I loved it. The whole show. Watch it.

Sausage Party (2016)

Curly haired dude
30 September 2022
Who knew you could have a cartoon with sausages as the stars a curly haired junkie hallucinating about having a conversation with a sausage that is just as scared to be talking to our 'hero' this movie is a trip alright. Is it any good. It's so weird, it was on TV in Ireland at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Maybe if you have your life to waste and like getting wasted in the afternoon, watch it twice it might be ok. As of now. I have no clue.

It's a Seth Rogan thing. How he gets the cash to make some of these movies is beyond me.. it's v Jewish and I love that. The crazy character's. Particularly the lady buns. Love to know what is the mayority view on what they resemble. Two things.. the sound track is bangin' and Seth knowing every quality comedy actor around has some fab voice overs.

House of the Dragon (2022– )

Poor. 2 Seasons Maybe
26 August 2022
Just remember the 1st episode of GoT. The cast gathers at Winterfell. Mark. Addy, Sean Bean and the family that already showed they were fully formed characters. This, well its a mess, blonde wigs flowing all over the screen. Sorry to say it about a guy doing his best but Matt Smith is no. Emila Clarke. The dragons fly all in and out, the lesson always in story telling, keep your ace for when its spectacular. Maybe I'm being very unfair, I hope so, I'd love this to be another special TV classic. Its the lines written fr he actors that are of most concern. Some way, some how it must improve. For sure cash, lots and lots of cash has been thrown at the show.
