The worst film in 2006

Okay lets just say i was so excited to see Miami Vice I almost went to the midnight showing on a work night. Fortunately i didn't lose any sleep over this one. THIS MOVIE WAS SO BAD we walked out of the theater one hour into it. Where do I start my rant?... First off where was the opening credits??? Does Michael Mann think he's too cool for intros. The script was dull and unimaginative. The acting was HORRIBLE. the plot was uneventful and confusing.... I can't continue with this review this movie was so bad. At least the television series was entertaining. This movie just sucks! I've wasted enough time on this one. Bottomline I wouldn't even rent it on DVD.

American Gun (2002)

Horrendous - This movie is about as bad as it gets

It's really unfortunate that this was James Coburn's last movie because this film was complete garbage. I've seen better acting in porno movies. What's up with the story? The plot was lame and totally unbelievable. For example, in the scene where James Coburn's character kills his daughter... Why wouldn't he confront the intruder? or turn on a light? And what's up with Virginia Madsen when she gets shot and says "Why did you shoot me? Lame, Lame, Lame Lame, Lame.... Was it just me or was the score annoying... the same three notes repeated over and over on the piano. Whoever scored this film needs to go back to music school. No offense Alan Jacobs but you should never ever be able to direct a film again... You SUCK.

Carlito's Way: Rise to Power (2005 Video)

Don't believe the Hype... because thats all this movie is.

Deceptive Advertising... I saw a commercial for Carlitos Way: Rise to Power that states "From the Producer of Scarface and Carlito's Way" LETS GET IT STRAIGHT... Michael Bergman did not produce Scarface, in fact he was 'editing room assistant' for Scarface. Not to take away from Bergman's talent... but in my opinion he should of had a little more class. I think I can speak for the masses when I say... We hate being blatantly lied to. As far as the movie goes, It was poor at best. I did think Puff Daddy did a good job. Although, Luis Guzman should be ashamed for working on this film. Overall this film did not do a good job filling in the blanks for Carlito's Way. It's obvious this project was an attempt to make a quick buck rather a good film.
