Jesus Camp (2006)
Ungodly
The consistent use of makeup, hair products, and hair styling was highly vulgar and sinful, so much so I nearly puked at the sight of "Becky", the so-called "children's pastor". When I was a child growing up under Pastor Daddy I wasn't even allowed to wear clothing.
Mary Poppins (1964)
Official 300th Review
For everyone leaving a bad review, do YOU know how to make a movie?

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018)
Makes ya think... but where is the representation?
An excellent exploration of profoundly multilayered and postmodern media semiotics but NOT ONLY is it a cultural appropriation of Buddhism but there was NO REPRESENTATION OF ASIANS OR ANY PEOPLE OF COLOR EXCEPT IN THE BACKGROUND, HIGHLY UNFEMINIST, NO SOCIAL CONSCIOUSNESS WHATSOEVER ECEPT WHITE MALES PUFFING CIGARETTES AND BEING POMPOUS DORKS DORKS DORKS. At least my favourite final universe theorem, the multiverse paradox, was properly explored. Accents hard to understand. 1/10.
Eden Lake (2008)
A horrible film.
One of the worst films I've seen. Idiotic, oversimplified, baseless, and taken to unnecessary extremes whenever possible. A genuinely stupid piece of garbage. This film feels like it was made by out of touch British Baby Boomer conservatives.
Oh, and it has animal violence to put the cherry on top.
The Mist (2007)
The Worst in my Life
Likely the most cliched, badly written, cheesy, and pointless film I've ever watched in my entire life, although I'm sure 80% of that is thanks to the awfulness of Steven King. It's as if a slightly creative but heterosexual, highly American, condescending, and idiotic 9-year-old boy wrote a story in his creative writing class after being given tips by Mrs. Smith on how a story can express 'subtle' meanings. I wanted every single pointless, idiotic, trope-filled character to die. Doi, peepolz resrt 2 prety crazee things in stresful situiatihins! clas conflikt! reigion!1 deniiael!!1
A genuinely horrid film. There aren't many works of 'art' that I would be okay erasing from existence, but like the main character's paintings, this should be burned and forgotten along with every copy of the book.
Lizzie McGuire: First Kiss (2002)
astonishing
Reminds me of my first love wow so sad And the best part is that it's totally relateable to basically everyone like this book I read in class Romeo and Juliette. I do sort of wish that it hada more feminist-friendlymessage because it is a lil reactionary and also not enough LGBT or colored representation and it's a little ableist just in the way miranda is treatede and whatnot but all in all it's touching for its time if you just remember it was made when a rapist was president of the US, well for the first time. Everyone please enjoy.
