Passengers (2008)
10/10
"Noone survived crash".
10 January 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Ten out of ten is not enough to grade this movie. At least 20 is needed. When I first watched it in Summer of 2009, I fell in love with it. And now I'm obsessed with it. I immediately bought "Passengers" on DVD. This masterpiece makes you worry and afraid all the time for the characters: what's gonna happen to him, what is a possible conclusion, etc. Anne Hathaway is doing a great job. Her character, Claire, is confused - she cannot realize what really is going on. This review is not a very good one on purpose: I'm not able to express my emotions and opinion about "Passengers". You just need to watch it. Once you do, you will fall in love with the movie as I did. "Passengers" keeps you on the edge of sofa. A beautiful music is playing all the time. It is a beautiful music, it calms you down: what is supposed to happen, will indeed happen.

Watch and enjoy. You will love it, I promise you that.

10 out of 10 (the least I can do). EXCELLENT.

One of the Best Comedies Ever Made.
9 January 2010
"Dr. Strangelove..." is such a unique movie for the 1960s. First, it was released in January of 1964. Second, the main subject of the movie is how to prevent a possible nuclear attack. Just less than two years prior to the release of this excellent movie, the Cuba missile crisis took place. Russia and the USA almost destroyed the world back then. OK, this was a very serious situation. But Stanley Kubrick did something unusual: he used a possibility of a nuclear attack and build a brilliant, smart, and very funny comedy on top of that. No details will be released in my review, but everybody should watch this movie. Yes, it was shot in 1964. Yes, it is white and black. But once you watch it, you gonna love it. Different critics and famous publications said that it is one of the funniest comedies ever made. I agree with them completely. 10 out 0f 10: excellent.

Horrible Movie.
30 December 2009
Just watched this movie few hours ago. It was like a shocking therapy. This has been one of the most bad movies I have ever seen. No plot, no idea, no "healthy humor". Only sick sex jokes and pregnancy subjects. The movie is not about Christmas: it has nothing to do with Christmas. The movie is about a girl (Witherspoon) and a guy (Vaughn): the girl finally decides that she wants to get pregnant. No use to describe movie here: those who want to watch it, don't fall asleep. I watched the movie and now regretting that I wasted two hours on that. It is not surprising: Witherspoon can't play anybody else but pregnant girls or silly lawyers; Vaughn - it is still a mystery why he agreed to do this movie. Awful. 1/10.

Who are the bad people in this movie?!
8 September 2009
Warning: Spoilers
At first, I wanted to believe that this movie was supposed to be really good: promising name of the movie - "Last House on the Left", - Universal Pictures, music, etc... But then I realized that this remake of the 1972 original is a very bad movie. Two girls come to Justin's motel room to smoke pot; at that time, his "family" arrives and becomes violently suspicious. They put the girls under captivity, move out into the closest forest, get lost, etc, etc.... Paige was able to escape from "the camp" and later was brutally murdered for that. Her friend was raped, tried to escape, but was shot in the lake. The criminals, then, could not go any further: their car was broken, they were tired, and one guy was injured. So, they stay overnight at a married couple's summer house. They are the parents of the second girl. She, apparently, survived and was able to make it to the house, where her dad takes care of her. The parents realized that the people who stopped at their guest house are those criminals who tried to kill their daughter. This is there the movie becomes even more ridiculous. The parents murder brutally all criminals. The murders are horrible, even much more brutal that do not go into any comparison with brutality of the real criminals. The parents are now criminals and the bad guys are now victims. I'm giving this movie 1 out of 10 because I still cannot believe in amount of blood and brutality carried by the parents. Just watch the THEATRICAL VERSION until very end, because daughter's dad proves that he has some criminal history, perhaps. Do not watch the Unrated Version: you might need psychiatric help after that. I didn't watch Unrated version, but the theatrical one is more than enough for me to grade this horrible movie.

Religulous (2008)
1/10
Horrible. Maher at his worst.
31 August 2009
"Religulous" (2008) of Bill Maher is simply terrible. The way he interviews different people, religious people, around the world is deeply disrespectful. He never tries to understand them, but always shows in the movie that only he, Bill Maher, is right and everybody else is wrong. Sarcasm is a completely separate story. "IN MY STRONG OPINION" it is a very bad offense against society to have sarcasm. Maher, with no surprises, is full of sarcasm. It is everywhere in the movie, starting in the very beginning. The thing is that the movie's creator miserably fails to understand that religious people have the right to believe. You can disagree with religion, but you have no right to offend it. 1 out of 10.

Where are those classic good movies about 007?
25 December 2008
Well, here we come. Worse than even Pierce Brosnan's James Bond. Unbelievable piece of garbage this movie is. No "Q"! For the first time since 1973("Live and Let Die" with the best Bond ever Roger Moore) "Q" is absent. And what about martini and vodka, shaken not stirred? A missing part, too. No humor! Even Brosnan's Bond knew couple of good jokes. Explosions, explosions, explosions. Just another action movie. 1 out of 10. Do not watch this movie or there will be side effects. Just remember Sean Connery's Bond, Roger Moore's Bond, Timothy Dalton's Bond. Also, watch the best episode ever been made - "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" with George Lazenby. Then, you'll be able to realize that those were good Bonds.

Murder, She Wrote (1984–1996)
10/10
The Best Mystery and Detective TV-Show of all times.
28 October 2007
"Murder, She Wrote"(1984) has everything you need and want. You can find there conspiracy, lies, love triangles, good sense of humor, and, of course, murders. Each episode of this show is an excellent piece of work. Each episode has at least one murder. In my opinion, Angela Lansbury was the best choice for the role of mystery writer Jessica B. Fletcher. She did a great job as an actress and also as the executive Producer of the show. Jessica can solve even most difficult murders, find the clues which police even weren't aware of and catch the murderer(s). Most of the times, there were cold blooded murderers. But sometimes, Jessica wished she was wrong because people committed crimes under extremely difficult issues in personal life. The writer Fletcher tries to help them to ease possible conviction and chargers.

Anyway, the best mystery show ever.

The worst and too naive.
5 November 2006
The last two episodes of "Walker, Texas Ranger" are just awful. Why? Walker kills all 7 most dangerous criminals who escaped from Huntsville. This is just fiction. If it was the real life, Walker and others would have been killed because those 7 criminals are the worst ones. Then, we suddenly learn that CD was murdered. Trivette went to learn the results of autopsy. He called Walker and said that wanted first hit at those who killed Parker. And what Walker says to him? "Get back to Headquarters". Jimmy was Walker's partner for 8 years. And Walker is very brutal with him. The only thing which saved Walker is Alex's sudden worsened health. So, he stays at the hospital. These 2 episodes of the show lost reality when Walker got those 7 escapees from prison. Shame on producers and Walker. 1 out of 10.

Walker, Texas Ranger (1993–2001)

"I'm gonna take you down. Hard".
18 October 2006
"Walker< Texas Ranger" is the greatest TV-series to watch. Rangers Cordell Walker and James Trivette always risk their lives to protect innocent people. If you commit a crime and if it is a very serious one, you wish you never met Walker. In different seasons the show, like other shows, have strong episodes(for example, "Team Cherokee" and "One Riot, One Ranger") and not so strong("Rainbow's End"). Sometimes, Walker is too soft("Team Cherokee"), sometimes he's too tough and unpredictable, possibly getting evidence illegally("In Harm's Way"). But Walker protects Texas and its people. "The Eyes of a Ranger" is visible evidence to it.

Very unrealistic.
17 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"The Delta Force" is a very difficult movie. I just saw it yesterday night. It seems very unrealistic to me. Yes, the plane was hijacked by two terrorists and brought to the capital of Lebanon - Beirut. But this is it. No more reality in it after that landing in Beirut. "Delta Force" and Chuck Norris suddenly appear from Pentagon in Beirut. Chuck Norris showed great performance in the movie as well as Lee Marvin - no questions on this issue. But the movie as itself had to be better. Instead of this we got bad scenario and awful thoughts about other countries of the World. Awful movie, which should not had any rights to be filmed.

Beavis and Butt-Head (1993–2011)
Best TV-Show Ever.
29 October 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"Beavis and Butt-Head" is the best TV-show ever. I continue to watch its reruns and still laugh - and will never stop laugh when I watch it. 10/10. Why? It's very simple. "Beavis and Butt-Head" was number one TV-show on music channels according to all ratings. Two friends-"metallheads" comment in each episode different music bands and their videos. "Cool" videos were videos which contained heavy music - metal and rock. Music which "sucks" did not contain anything which could be "cool". Thus, it was very interesting and is still interesting to know Beavis's and Butt-Head's points of view on those music videos because they were always right. They were always right because they are Beavis and Butt-Head.

Great Show, but unexpected end.
17 October 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"Trial by Fire" is an excellent movie. Chuck Norris played Walker real and great as always. The idea about Koreans and story about framed Ranger are looking realistically. I liked that dark "Hummer" - the mafia looked very dangerous in the vehicle. The only big question which is unanswered is why Rangers didn't arrest father of killed son during the bank robbery. The son was shot by later framed Ranger. But as about whole movie itself, "Trial by Fire" is a very modern action movie with all traditions from TV-show "Walker, Texas Ranger". The movie misses Rangers Trivette and Cook. As about final scene, I almost cried when Alex was shot. She is such a great character in WTR. It is very difficult to mention during last scene, but the Ranger, who was framed, was also killed. But this scene also means "Walker, Texas Ranger" will be back again. So, terrific movie and I'm giving to it 10/10.
