Don't Worry Darling (I) (2022)
5/10
Hit and a miss
25 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Pugh carries this entire film with little to no help from Styles. Seems to me Wilde didn't want to tell her boyfriend he needed acting lessons. I think someone told him yelling meant good acting and he ran with it.

Pine does a good job as the villain, with what little content he was given. Chan was lovely. Kroll has a face you just wanna punch.

There's far too many plot holes. What happened to Margaret and Ted and their son? Why did the plane crash? Why can't the british Styles do a believable british accent? Who's to say!!

Also, I can't believe Jack could choose to be any nationality he wanted and he chose to be BRITISH. Insane!

The Last of Us: Part II (2020 Video Game)

So disappointed

The first game is my favorite game of all time. Literally. I had such high expectations for this one and it bit me in the butt. Joel and Ellie's relationship is ESSENTIAL to the plot and by taking that away there's nothing left. A bland revenge plot that could be assigned to any character is left in the lap of Ellie. By misleading the audience into thinking Joel would be a part of it, this backfired big time. Just a money grab. The graphics and music are beautiful though.

I heard the book had flat characters and a bad depiction of mental illness. safe to say this was a fantastic adaptation of that.

Good Enough

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't not like the movie I suppose. It had its moments, especially the scene where Elton went to visit his dad to find he had a new family. The rest was hit or miss. I wasn't expecting a musical, but more of what BoRhap was. The acting, however, was phenomenal. Egerton and Bell were spectacular.

If you want to see an hour and forty-six minutes of Ed Helms outshining Jason Clarke, then this movie is for you.

I'm still so angry this was canceled!! The storyline, the characters, the acting, everything was so good. Andrew McCarthy (Hank Asher) was especially phenomenal. I'd pay a billion and a half dollars to reboot it.
