I was surprised. The transparency and depth of his background really surprised me. The first episode sees Arnold opening up about his home town and parental upbringing. He doesn't pull any punches here. Seeing him in the very same bedroom...and bed...where he began his quest was mind blowing for me. Hi journey to America was detailed as was his acknowledgement of those who supported him...both financially and physically. Franco and Frank were key in his personal life providing guidance and friendship. It was a breath of fresh air to hear him open up about steroids as well. I am really looking forward to the next 2 episodes, hoping he leaves the vegan nonsense out of it. A great documentary so far.

About My Father
(2023)
The North End of Boston
28 May 2023
Hard to believe Sibby and his family are from Chicago. They are the same family type as mine and everyone I grew up with in Italian Boston. Even most parts of NYC have produced comical, loving and influential Italian families. This movie hit the mark in spades! A very funny, very accurate depiction of working-class Italian families with a nice touch of emotional fortitude. The accent, phrasing, manurisms, symbolism...it's all there and accurate. Bobby D does an outstanding job playing the very character he actually is...an Italian father. They kept it PG-13 to which I say BRAVO! The challenge of making a great PG comedy today is insane, yet they pulled it of nicely. Thank you my paisans for making me laugh while bringing back nice memories. The best!
Long live Negan
24 May 2023
Negan is the ONLY reason I continued to watch TWD after season 5. What an actor this guy is. We finally get some insight into his past...what made him Negan...and it does not disappoint. For the first time I find myself rooting for "the bad guy", realizing that the bad guy label is only a matter of perception. It's relative. Besides the fact I dislike Maggie and the actor who portrays her. I am hoping Negan cleans house in season 11 and he joins Darrel to start a new comnunity because the remaining characters have become dull...boring with the actors phoning it in. This episode made up for the previous dumpster fire episode in spades!
Kaleidoscope

Giancarlo Esposito...enough said.
1 January 2023
Esposito gives yet another amazing performance in this very good offering. 4 episodes in...just fantastic. Pacino and Bobby D move over...the Italian actor of this generation is Giancarlo. He makes anything an instant classic. Also keep in mind that you can watch the episodes in any order. The episode titled "White" should be viewed last however. The overall acting is very good. There are a few names that I had never heard of before...Rufus Sewell was one of them. He put in a great character portrayal...so far...and I am not sure what to expect next due to the random nature of the episodes. Great stuff thus far...

The Third Sista from Chicago
14 July 2022
So we have a new character who cannot act and has a south Chicago accent. Really? The third sista is painful to watch. Good job casting, Disney. The ratings for this series should tell you all you need to know...and how awful is this director?!

Another Irish famine...
29 June 2022
Tries to be The Sopranos, but ends up like The Little Rascals. The only true Irish mob was the police...working for the Italian mobs. Then, of course, the Irish who were FBI informants... RATS. Anything else plays out like a gypsy comedy.
But why?

Without letting a spoiler out, I will say I now hate Saul and his girl. Great episode, but I felt so bad at the end. Drop dead Saul. Still can't figure out where all that hate comes from and why it is directed towards Howard.
Depp could have saved this project...
27 May 2022
Very weak storyline with little, if any, character likeability. Although Depp wouldn't have changed the boring storyline, his mere presence would have certainly bolstered the cast's presence. Johnny not only provides his own incredible acting skills, he also brings out the best in those who surround him. A huge missed opportunity that this studio has literally paid for.

Exposes the SCARY people

Really great content. He and Dave have started the correction of the OVER correction brought forth by the scaries. He gives us some time to relax...breath...and laugh at some really laughable things. Things indeed. Thanks Ricky!
The Lincoln Lawyer
(2022– )
The acting is sooo bad...
13 May 2022
I was really looking forward to this series. A good legal drama by Netflix with a strong background and good writers. But who did the casting? I can't believe what they did here. They rushed this guy into a Lincoln and gave him someones entire law practice inside of 10 minutes...now we have the Lincoln Lawyer. I would be able to digest this if the acting wasn't so awful. Neve Campbell is ok, but the rest of them are straight out of daytime soaps. Unwatchable. What a shame...
WHAT?
24 January 2022
So, this is fiction. I know. But husband and wife presidential running mates? I lost all hope with Hollywood with this episode. They write these moronic storylines and do it because you hillbillies give it a 9.5 rating! Sad...

NAOMI MUST GO!
8 February 2021
Please.Space her. Worst episode. Earth was severely attacked, there are several openings to the unknown universe, the proto-molecule is loose and Amos is fighting for his escape from Earth...BUT WE MUST KNOW how Naomi and her family will ever figure out their relationship. For the entire episode. Nice.

Only "Wokers" hurt in this series
9 August 2020
The "woke" crowd will try to sway you away from watching this adorable series. They will cry about the animals being mistreated, which they are not. They will say it's fake and cruel. They will say...well, they always have "something" to say about everything, don't they? This was a fun series, which of course has production elements, but also provided some educational elements as well. The episodes are short (24 minutes) which also allows for those who have a short attention span. Great for a family watch!
Ignore the PC crowd who hate EVERYTHING, including humans that don't agree with them, and enjoy a happy-go-lucky offering for a change...
