Painful to watch

This movie, why, is it made in such a way, the constant shouting, people not listening to each other. It was annoying and irritating to watch morons shout at each other. Sandler should just keep doing his comedies, because this movie was wasted time.

There was some effort put into writing this movies plot interesting, but they failed miserably. so much places where I was thinking to myself - why? why did they do that? Unreal situations with moronic decisions.

Max Payne (2008)

Disappointing

First i want to say that I'm a huge fan of the Max Payne game. I'm sorry to all who liked this movie and the director... but I didn't like the idea that Ludicrous played Jim Bravura, I don't say that he acts bad or poor, but i wanted something more similar to the game. Don't take me wrong, but Ludicrous associates with gangs/rap not a noir style detective. And the choice to take My Name is Earl actor Beau Bridges was just plain wrong. Really, he is good at comic roles, but for such a film... he just does not fit in.

I was unable to get away the feeling that something was wrong with this movie all the time watching it. But overall it was a nice movie, stylish and satisfying (kinda) my expectations.

Excellent USSR movie!!!

I't is one of the best motion pictures from that time(1950-1970). This movie represents very much of that time like the traditions, cheating, and the stealing, and not to forget the unforgettable atmosphere of these movies. watching this movie you can see how was the living in the USSR union. I found funny the scene where Shurik was riding on the donkey(at the end of the movie) on an asphalted road, the funny thing is that, that so good roads were hard to find in the USSR. i think that the crew who where searching the places where to film the movie where exhausted searching in the caucasus such a good road.

I would say that everyone who wants to see how lived the people in the USSR, should watch this movie. p.s. sorry for my poor English skills. :)

Vella kalpi (1970)

NON soviet union movie.

I would not place this movie as in the soviet union made. It is made in Latvia (i come from there). It's a good movie- funny, interesting. It is a musical, action, comedy, and somehow a little bit history. that was the time (1960-1986) when Latvians made good movies, but somehow (maybe the good directors are missing) we ain't making good movies, and that is very sad. i would rate to view this movie it is worth to spend the time. when i was a little child (1992-1994 about) i loved the movie, i even singed the songs along with the actors. so i would rate to view it with the whole family- a good time spent. and you could see that we(Latvians) made a very good movies.
