Disenchantment (2018)
It accurately portrays modern attitudes in the real world and lack of ethics in people
I often see people whining that the main character is female or even not stating that it's their problem with the show whilst using derogatory terms specifically for women. My guess would be that her left-leaning empathy, and her being the main character, leaves some sexists feeling like their views are being opposed or questioned.
It seems like the creators definitely set bean, elfo and Lucy up to evolve emotionally throughout seasons, even if that hasn't quite started yet. Also, bean's continued disregard for rules and disrespect to the status quo is clearly down to the utterly sociopathic behaviours she sees in the king of Dreamland, who is also her very own dad, her only remaining parent.
The idea isn't to feel sorry for her poor decision making but to hope she matures quick enough to get out of the tyranny or, better yet, change it. It's an accurate representation of our current real world and, female or male, I relate to a lot of these attitudes. Bean's reactions to the world leave a lot to be desired but her feelings towards the world are completely understandable. Most people are a product of their environments but they don't have to remain that way, that's the part we don't often hear.
Human Discoveries (2019)
Great
Lighthearted, doesn't take itself too seriously. If you're expecting powerful artistry then of course you'll be disappointed but if you would like to watch a fun and laid-back show that will bring you a few laughs then this is the show for you.
P.s. The cast selection is brilliant
Shameless (2011)
Laughable
This show is embarrassing when you consider the original UK version.
