The Living Thames (2018)
An Exciting Journey
A wonderful and informative doc on the past and present of one of the most famous rivers in the world. A perfect mix of science and history providing a clear view of how humans have effected the river and how important it is to wildlife. It's inspiring to see people with all sorts of different backgrounds working together to protect the wildlife and maintain the ecosystem necessary for the survival of all.
The Stand In (2020)
It's a dark comedy!
Drew was absolutely phenomenal as both characters. Each was a little sweet and a little salty. I was expecting something like "The Wedding Singer", but realized it was a dark comedy when that house with the Norma Desmond meets Howard Hughes decor came into frame. I still enjoyed it, but the plot was missing something. I think it stayed too safe. If you try to please everyone, you end up disappointing everyone.
Don't Forget to Breathe (2018)
A Deeply Moving Film
It's an absolutely wonderful film. I was lucky enough to see this film on the big screen in Cyprus. The cinematography and sound are excellent. The actors drew you into the drama and the pain that the characters were feeling. The story shines an unflinching light on domestic abuse and shows how we need to end it. Bravo.
