The Last Duel (2021)
incredibly boring medieval Forrest Gump
This movie should have been captivating, but instead it was incredibly boring.
I normally am a Matt Damon fan, I enjoyed Stillwater, but here he is so flat.
His character comes across as a medieval Forrest Gump, except not funny nor engaging, and definitely dumb and unsympathetic.
Chernobyl (2021)
Bad rip-off of the BBC/HBO series
I was looking forward to seeing another take on this catastrophe.
Unfortunately, it turned out that this movie is a bad rip-off of the recent BBC/HBO series about the same events.
It leaves out all the good elements, and adds random melodrama.
We really don't have a clue what the characters are really doing, or why.
There are just a few characters, who even have a name. We don't know why apparently they need to keep coming back to flooded underground corridors with valves at the end of them.
The film has nothing about how or why the accident happened.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Dumbest zombie movie in a long time
I was so looking forward to this movie.
Unbelievable how they managed to mess up the excellent premise!
Cidade Invisível: Queria muito que você estivesse aqui (2021)
What is this about?
After watching the entire episode, I still have no idea what just happened and what the story is about.
Little Monsters (2019)
Awesomest zombie movie ever
This is the funniest, and sweetest zombie I've ever seen.
But don't worry, there's no lack of gore either!
A truly original take.
(Un)Well (2020)
Could have been great
What an awesome idea to debunk pseudosience in a Netflix series.
But these documentaries don't do anything to support a scientific worldview or combat pseudoscience.
Such a missed chance!
Right of the bat, in the opening lines of each episode, there are judgments, but we don't need judgments based on who know whose opinion, we need a series like this to present products, highlight what's controversial about them, denounce any misinfirmation if it's out there, and present scientifically grounded and paracticle conclusions.
You can do better, Netflix!
Teenage Bounty Hunters (2020)
The funniest
This show is hilariously funny, entertaining, smart and original.
I can't wait for season 2!
Watchmen (2019)
what?
I watched the whole first episode - close to an hour - and there ain't the faintest hint of what this is about.
If the pilot episode can't explain in the slightest what the series is about, or give any reason to watch it, never mind the rest of it.
