Female-lead comedies that *mostly* don't revolve around (heterosexual) romance, because i need comedy movies with chicks in them that aren't labelled as CHICK FLICKS just because they are about CHICKS!!!
kids movies that go way harder than they have any right to

Criminal Minds: Safe Haven (2010)
Episode 5, Season 6
Somebody get that poor girl out of that atrocious wig
3 April 2024 - 1 out of 1 users found this review helpful.
Atrocious wig! What the hell is even that!
That's mainly all what I wanted to say. But here's a longer review to meet the minimum word requirement:
- Great child actors, the actress for Ellie especially leveled up since her last appearance. Too bad she had to deal with that dora the explorer wig or I could've taken her more seriously.
- Love the episodes that show more of Morgan's empathetic side. Making him good with with kids adds a another layer to his character and ties back to his own traumatic childhood (revealed back in s2e12: 'Profiler, Profiled').
- As main plots go it's one of the more decent episodes of this season with a believable unsub, but has a pretty formulaic narrative structure with a predictable ending.
- I find myself missing JJ already. Doesn't work as well without her as the glue.

The Mindy Project (2012)
If you don't Mindy Kaling you won't like this show
28 October 2021 - 8 out of 10 users found this review helpful.
The side characters can be funny, especially Ike Barinholtz's character, but essentially if you don't think you can grow to love Mindy as the flawed and often self-centred protagonist (basically a more developed "Kelly" from the Office) you probably won't enjoy this show.
