A very good plot with a horrible execution
7 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'm sincerely worried that my copy of the movie was tampered with and there were missing scenes, because there is no logical reason for a movie to end the way this one did. The story happens in a wonderfully placed village in Italy, and many scenes of the movie focus on this, it deals with questions of parents support, discoveries at young and old ages, the church's interpretation of love, betrayal and love, etc., and then at the end, the movie ends like a musical, solving all the problems, making everyone happy, like nothing had happened. Spare yourself of this disappointment.

An awesome movie with a terrible ending
18 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Ok, it was all a dream/vision! How many stories have you seen/heard that ended like this? After all the time, all the emotions caused, all pieces of the story unfolded, you find out that nothing of that happened, at least yet.

What?
14 May 2020
Bland, confusing, monotone, fast-paced, weak character building, definitely not my cup of tea.

Not a bad movie!
14 May 2020
But definitely not a good one either. There is always an "amateur" vibe on the plot, on extra actors, and even on main actors on some parts. Picture, camera angles and soundtrack are pretty good and overall message is a good one too. I understand where this movie aimed, and it's ok, but Brazilian cinema certainly has movies which aimed much higher.

A movie with not many clichés
25 August 2019
The first opinion I have on the movie is that it has not many clichés in it, which is something you usually see, and it surprised me for not having too many. I usually don't mind clichés and I even hoped for some more in this movie, but I did appreciate the lack of it nonetheless.

A simple good movie
20 August 2019
Some things manage to stand out in this movie, but one of them is the simplicity. It's a casual, yet good movie with an uncomplicated message. I enjoyed the acting of most of the cast, especially the main actor, he created a face for the character that he does so well, I wouldn't doubt he is also like this in real life.

Tacky, fun and slightly catchy drama
19 August 2019
The movie started in a tacky way, but it was to show that this was how it was going to be. It has some fun moments, the clichés of coming out, clichés of gay life (especially in Brazil), and the story, despite being predictable, still had me a little caught in it. I recommend it if you're looking for some fun pastime, just don't expect a masterpiece.

Superb Asian movie!
7 February 2019
I usually have lower expectations for Asian LGBT movies because movies are the reflection of a culture, and many Asian cultures are not as open as most western cultures are. I already knew that South Korea was one of those "not-very-open" Asian cultures, but the movie also makes it very clear in the beginning. But don't get misled by this! Even though their culture is not open, most characters of the movie are openly gay/lesbian and the environment in the movie revolves around this subject too. So, if you are interested by Asian/South Korean LGBT community and feel like watching a drama with some good pieces of comedy in it, this movie is an awesome portrait of their community to the whole world.

Nostalgia and facets of love
26 December 2018
We all know love comes in many different ways: family love, loving someone, self-love, loving moments of life and even learning to love life the way it is. This movie gathers all of this and showcases them in a little monotonous, but still eye-catching, way.

The movie is great
21 November 2018
Do not be fooled by the low general grade here, I wasn't and I'm grateful for that. The movie has everything for a good comedy: Coming-of-age on modern times, a totally not gay bromance (you'll get the reference once you watch the movie), clumsy teenagers and the American way of life (which is pretty laughable alone lol). So if you're up to some laughter sided with a good plot, this movie is the right one for you.

A great pick
10 August 2018
Was not expecting it to be like this, but it is a very good movie! Lighting is definitely a strong point in the movie. This is a very good pick, unless you don't like art or is not willing to learn some with the movie. The storyline kept me going, nothing too mind-blowing, nor too simple, and the end was also very good.
