Combats de femme: Un amour de femme (2001)

there is something deeply fascinating...

...and intriguing about this movie as I turned to it again and again and couldn't stop thinking about it. This is like a quiet romance that developed quietly at first but soon turned into something more passionate when the two women started making love for the first time. It is as if Jeanne waited for a change in her life all the time and the change came when Marie appeared the first time at the party in the first scene, Marie obviously came in with a bang...

The story is told in a very sensitive manner and the two characters are intriguing. The love is developing slowly at first but already very visible in around the middle, when they are out dancing together Jeanne is already totally in love with Marie. Fascinating story but I disliked the fact that Jeanne left her son and obviously never cared about him again. That's not something a good mother or person really would do. Apart of this this is a great movie with astonishing first class actresses and actors.

Cagney & Lacey (1981–1988)

while this was officially a straight show..

...it is undeniable that these two women had a powerful dynamic together which can only be classified as kind of "romantic friendship." A relationship without sexual intimacy but still very very intimate on another level..they did not need "sex" to reach this level of intimacy together, it was even stronger than a sexual relationship. Great actresses, wonderful storylines 10/10 always.

classic...legendary
2 June 2021
It's one of the view movies that can be called a true classic.

Maybe even one of the best that television has to offer, although television has to offer alot. In my opinion there is hardly a movie around that is able to top Space Odyssey 2001 in its greatness. This movie does have only one problem: you need the right eyes, ears, brain and mind to understand it.

If you don't have it then it obviously does nothing for you.

not bad

I don't understand the bad reviews on this. I personally didn't like much the actress that played Sharon Tate's part, Hillary Duff and disliked in some ways her performance. However I liked the movie as a whole.

I don't see where this is disrespectful to the family of Sharon Tate. It shows what should have happened back then, unfortunately we all know that reality wasn't like that and Sharon Tate didn't survive this horrific tragedy.

This is how it should have ended in reality. What I would have liked to see would have been Sharon Tate's mother, Doris Tate. Maybe she'd have had one or two words on this. Altogether I consider this not to be such a bad movie, it could have gone a bit more into detail though but altogether it was quite exciting actually. Going a bit more into detail would have meant to also show the background of the killers more, like Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, Leslie van Houten and all their other names. Instead it just showed Charles Manson, well he wasn't the main character on the killings though. I believe Susan Atkins had way more to do with the actual killings than most of them apart from Tex Watson maybe. This should have been shown more, like this it stayed a bit superficial but did tell the main basic facts about the killing. I rate this 7/10 as being pretty good.

The Others (2001)

excellent

Excellent storyline with some known basic elements of typical horror movies. The sudden twist in the storyline towards the ending is very surprising but at the same time also fascinating. The tension is there from beginning to end.

I want to see more horror movies like this one. This one easily already counts among the classics even though it's of 2001. There is alot more to be said about it but I will keep it short. Besides there's also a chillingly beautiful Nicole Kidman in it... ;-)

This movie is worth to be watched anytime. 10 of 10 stars.
