I haven't finished it yet and not sure if I can or will. What's up with today's movies? Lame. Give me some classic 90s cinema instead. I'm not sure what to think about Ryan Gosling. My husband said the movie is boring and we turned it off and went bed. Maybe I'll give it another shot and come back here and update my review.

I can't hate on this harmless fun film! That is literally what it is. Has a few good laughs. Keeps you entertained. I recommend this movie for a laid back night. It has some swear words but it can sort of work as a family movie because the whole thing is pretty much a fun light atmosphere throughout. Likeable characters!

If someone has to announce their diversity, it is obvious that that is a blatant attempt to say hey look this isn't just a movie about four white people.
This is a nagging element throughout the course of the film. To go to great lengths to give the actress a more ethnic name in order to enhance the racism claim is annoying.

Trashy movie. Naive, foolish woman being led astray. Did not finish watching. This is the representation of a young black female that this movie is presenting? It really isn't good. The movie is trying to shed light but at the same time , why are the girls so stupid?? Surely even a teenager can sense danger and do her best to stay away from the entrapments of a promiscuous life.

This is a very good movie. I won't spoil anything but I have to write enough words to add my review! This is a thrilling, interesting and suspenseful watch. The acting is good. Doesn't drag on and on but it does keep one wondering, hmmm what is going on here?
Gordon is super awkward and weird upon first being introduced to the character. Great job Joel Edgerton! Overall 10/10!

Interesting but falls Short

I contemplated giving this movie 6 stars. The reason for the 1 extra star is because of the mood of movie. You are always lead to feel like something intriguing is about to happen, which kept me watching till the end. The atmospheric qualities of the film are top notch.
Where the film falls short is in the script itself. Specifically, the young freshman who is so naive and un willing to help herself out of a negative situation. This is annoying for the viewer who feels the distress that the character is supposed to be feeling. But she stays in an unfavorable situation. The script also has some loose ends to tie up.
Overall, I like Regina Hall enough to watch till the end.

Why????? Why did Alfre Woodard not Receive an Oscar nod for this? This movie is top notch acting from all involved! It is a really serious film. I am not shocked that this movie did not receive any recognition ( African American led cast). It is upsetting. Such a hidden gem!

It's a good show. Some of the episodes have no resolution to the crimes depicted, so that can be annoying. Keep someone at the edge of their seat till the very end and then oop no closure! Well that's life sometimes! Overall a very interesting show.

I recommend! Shows a different side rarely seen single fathers. It is so good. Eyes welled up a few times. It's very good. I actually can't believe that this is Kevin Hart pulling such emotional weight in a dramatic role. Great Job Kevin Hart!

Most people with any decency and a heart will want to empathize and root for someone in any movie. We were all rooting for the mafia guy to get Marla. She needed to pay for her crimes. But no! Marla's end was not satisfying enough. Made me very upset.
