Skyline (2010)

This is the BEST MOVIE EVER!!! ....if you're 16!

I can totally see where they where going with this! YES, the cast is all TV-actors, and there's no side-storyline happening with the president, or some Japanese-computerhacker wizz kid. Just a few guys locked up in an apartment. But ooooh my! The monsters are PLENTY! And the action overflowing! The effects are great if you ask me.. Considering this was made on a extremely low budget. I think it looks Bling-bling! When i saw it, i just got really reliefed that the aliens won! BIG thumbs up!

WATCH THIS GREAT PIECE OF ENTERTAINMENT, if you're hungover, or a 16 year old kid, just dying to see another monster/Scifi movie with plenty of Alien action!

Sicko (2007)

Michael Moore For President!!!

After watching this film, i grew restless. Not the sorta restless, you get, when nobody calls you on the phone for weeks. No- restless that i can not reach out, and share parts of the health-care-system, from where i come from in Denmark. Now, i've only once experienced this sort of restlessness after watching a movie, and it was Michael Moores "Rodger and me". YES- Moore does it again. And he fulfills his role, as an rebellious anti-capitalist, pointing out the wrongs and rights in society, that people have simply grown accustom to. PERFECT! He once again gives us his artistic brand consisting of small terrific, or in this case, horrible stories from everyday people who have been neglected by the American health-care system. Michael Let's you pass trough the homes of MANY families as you engage upon their stories. This time Michael has brought far more people into the interviews, and it gives the hole bundle more juice then FAHRENHEIT. He also, takes his time to show old clips, video/photos of the people hes interviewing, so you feel you get the entire background on some of the folks. BRAVO! Michael himself, is this time a bit more "americaniced" -but only to really point out the benefits of the other countries, does he take the role of the average American joe. PERFECT! Over all. If you read this. I think this movie will make as huge an impact on you, as it did on me. And i think every Michael Moore film, is both educational and should be thought in schools, as well as very important for the entire society to see! That is... if you want to be a part of your society?

Silent Hill (2006)

Way better then any of the games!!

OMG!!! This is NOT at all what i thought it would be. No- this is WAY better. Silent Hill is originally a horror computer game for the playstation 2, and like so many other games with a massive storyline, it been turned into a movie. The Resident Evil series did it, the alone in the dark series did it, but Silent hill is the first of them to capture a really interesting story, and a satisfying plot. The actors are great, and you can tell that the director really knew his part of the games characters, and how to get it on film. Well done! As a computergame salesman, i really wanted to see this movie. But after many of the above named from-game-to-movie titles, my expectations was not of the highest. Directors often have little respect for the games story and universe, and often let's own ideas interfere with the game-story. But this one completely took me by surprise. The whole Silent Hill atmosphere is so well kept, that you even recognize most of the locations, identical to the ones in the game. Everything has been captured perfectly, and i can not describe how awesome the visuals and special effect worked in the film.

The plot itself is of the highest quality. The writer really fought, and won, to prevent this from becoming another "Doom"! The best from-game-to-film so far! BRAVO!!!

Lord of War (2005)

Oh My God (...of war)

This movie was as ever breathtaking as any tragedy, or war might be! I was this time really impressed, which i'm easily NOT, with the story of the movie. I had a really hard time figuring out in what sorta way this movie would end, and in the end, it completely took me by surprise. Not that it's a major plot or anything, but morally you can only imagine one kind of ending for this fast-going, uptempo film. This made my day! Cage is back, there can be no question about that! he plays with such style, you can smell him all the way back to his top-performances. Jared, who plays the little brother really makes an outstanding performance as well. I like seeing him as a drug addict agein.

All in all, all the characters are so well played, and colorfully preformed and written, that if the story was bogus, (Wich it is not), then you could be fully entertained watching them.
