Black Widow (2021)
A True Film with Strong Female Lead Character
I'm grateful for all the people involved in making of Black Widow film for not putting any unnecessary feminist stuff in here, to prove that you can make a great movie with female protagonist without making it annoying. I respect that.
Shûmatsu no Valkyrie (2021)
This is just nonsense
So the anime has Greek gods and Norse gods. I'm not saying it has to be historically accurate, but the content creator could at least make people think that they read books.
Charlie's Angels (2019)
Not Cool But Cute
The way this movie is all women-film is adorable. You can see the singers, the protagonists are women (not the villains, that honor is for men). Even the city names on the screen like Hamburg, Paris etc are written in pink color (I don't know what that means, but some folks say pink is a girl color).
So you see, they tried to forcefully make this film as FEMALE as possible, it's cute. I admit, as a male human being, it's a bit uncomfortable to keep watching their stress to send the message, like the fight we had in 4th grade, "Girls good, boys bad".
But hey, apart from the cute efforts, the film is not bad. The story and plot are fine and that's why I gotta give it a fine rating because I'm not some blind hater.
Extraction (2020)
As An Indian Film, Bad. As An American Film, Horrible.
In the beginning, we see a dirty "yellow" country full of polluted air and that's how a poor country looks like. They did their best to make it as dirty as they could. Overpopulated areas, too much traffic, child gangsters, guns, bad cops etc.
Can you tell what this was all about? You can't, 'cause there's no story. You don't know what's happening. Just shootings and killings and that's it. The police, The Army, even the special force are working with their full strength for a "drug lord" as if he was the prime minister of the country and the mercenaries are trying to take away his own kid.
(I don't understand why they had to extract a national treasure from a "terrorist country" when they could just pay the kidnappers.)
Lastly, do you remember the kid who shot Tyler at the end? Ok, do you remember WHY he did it? Why exactly he was so furious with Tyler? No, you don't remember. Because there was no damn reason. Because it's a bad film.
2.0 (2018)
a disappointment
The story is fine at the beginning. the message of the antagonist is clear and even thoughtful. Well, when they can't defeat him, Chitti finds a great way to "blackmail" Pakshirajn- by THREATENING TO KILL THE BIRDS. I mean, what on Earth is this film trying to say? What are we supposed to understand?
And how did the villain come back from the dead? Oh! it's not him, it's his Aura. LOL, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't in science fiction category.
V for Vendetta (2005)
The Masks Were Ingenious
Not all the films make you realize your own value. I'm really grateful to the people who were involved in making of this movie. Apart from Natalie Portman's poor British accent, this film is a complete masterpiece.
Bumblebee (2018)
Movie That You Can Watch With Your Family in A Holiday
Actually there are only a few films that doesn't contain adult stuffs or words and have family-friendly, healthy story. Maybe Bumblebee is not the best Transformers movie, maybe not what you expected. But I gotta tell you, please don't expect and take what they give you.
Black Mirror: Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too (2019)
My Favorite One
I see most of the people aren't happy with the episode because the story is too typical and that's why, predictable. I felt like it was so exciting and enjoyable. Black Mirror's episodes usually have dark and adult stuffs, it doesn't, so it's a bad one. LOL.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
I don't know if it's a spoiler or not
The most disappointing matter is that there was not the spiderman theme music in the movie.
Se7en (1995)
Incomplete
This movie's good. So, I had to give it 6. But you know that they didn't finish what they started.
The story is about a killer who kills people just to spread a message. He kills only the sinners, who have sinned, "seven deadly sins".
The first five kills were okay. And then you can predict he would kill detective Mills for Wrath, because he was too angry, all the time.
Didn't happen. Our intelligent killer killed a woman who'd done nothing, no deadly sin or anything. He did that just to make detective Mills more angry that he'd kill him because he'd sinned, he had felt envy. What a nonsense. What about his message? Was he telling that sinner's wives should die too? I mean, it's not that he can kill anybody he wants. He wouldn't be a Psycho then. He didn't even kill detective Mills. That's where the story got messed up.
Somewhere in Time (1980)
A Movie Which Reminds You That Love Isn't Just Dating, Kissing And Bedding.
I'm sorry I usually don't watch old films. I'm not into romantic films either. But this isn't a typical romantic movie. It's different. It's spreading sweetness and you need that sweetness in your life.
Gravity (2013)
Boring
The movie's good and has a good message, of course. But it's just one short story and you've to spend 90 minutes of your life to watch it. Go on, watch it. But tell somebody to turn your device off when you will sleep watching it.
Captain Marvel (2019)
Another Great Film From Marvel Studios
It's kinda obvious that MCU films are good. Captain Marvel isn't different than that. Here's a cool story with a cool woman.
Some people don't agree with me but you know what, MOVIES ARE FOR THE FANS, NOT FOR THE CRITICS.
Knock Knock (2015)
I have no idea what's happening
I'm not so sure what's going on. But I kinda saw that some chicks came to a house and seduced the guy, when he responded, they became feminists.
Basmati Blues (2017)
Mixing cultures doesn't look so good
Brie Larson is my favorite actress. So I didn't care about the poor ratings, I went for the movie. As I watched many Indian movies before, so I knew what I was watching. Random dancing, singing and the critical situations like hindi tv serials. I wonder why people think that American actors would fit in a Indian film.
Triple 9 (2016)
Boring
There's not a proper ending and the story isn't quite understandable nor enjoyable. People may come to watch the film just because of the good actors. But they ain't even good in this film.
Red Sparrow (2018)
Plot Twist
Movies like this are really good. No joking. They show us something, but happens something else that we didn't think of. JLaw is a great actress, I'm not being polite, just saying the truth.
Final Destination (2000)
About a serious error
The movie is thrilling and totally great. But I think, the concept has an error. Alex did cheat death at first time when he saw they were dying and later prevented that. He could survive because he knew about the future. But after that, when it was time for his friends, he didn't see anything though and prevented their deaths anyway. Like one of his friend was stuck in the train line, they rescued him and boom! He successfully cheated death. As far as I know, that's not how things work.
Wonder Woman (2017)
Inspirational move
Well I've learned something from this story so I'm grateful. That concept of believing. Diana realized and says, "It's not about deserve, it's about what you believe."
Last year, I was a 9 grade student when I watched WW. So apparently, it was a great discover of my life. People do things, right or wrong, what they believe. DC and Marvel fans, Messi and Ronaldo fans, every religion, political party, atheist and theist ... they always fight each other, try to establish their own beliefs. Somehow I realized that, they all are right in their own places. You can throw a lot of strong logics but only that one is right which you believe. After watching WW, I stopped online argument for establish my own opinion. Though I do have my opinions but probably need to love people by respecting their opinions, so I've become simple.
