Marry Me at Christmas (2017 TV Movie)

I love this movie

There is a small list of Christmas movies I watch year round, whenever I need cheering up, and this is one of those movies. This is an adorable movie, and I LOVE Ginger. Any time I need cheering up, I say to myself "I need some Ginger time". Everyone is really great in this movie. Although I do wish they gave "Oliver" more dialogue than just a few words here and there. What I don't understand is why other people writing reviews say they hate the movie because of Maddie's hair. Really? Who cares? If you hate a movie because of a character's hair, I suggest you find something else to watch. Or perhaps see a therapist to find out why you are so bothered by something so silly. This is a sweet fun movie to watch.

First of all, the negative reviews are made by people who clearly have no idea how police work/investigations really work. This isn't Law and Order, this is how investigations happen, crimes aren't solved in 45 minutes. These Deputies work non-stop until they find the person. And sometimes they don't. Second of all, the Richland County Sheriff's Department is not made up of only 6 women. There are over 700 sworn deputies, which is easily found out by googling. This is the Missing Persons' Unit, not the whole department. Yes, Law Enforcement, actually takes an emotional and physical toll on members. Especially in Missing Persons, Major Crimes, and SVU. So what these Deputies are saying they are going through happens.

What an amazing movir

I decided to watch this movie because I love Nikki DeLoach. I ended up with more than I could have thought possible. This is a beautiful and emotional movie. I think I went through at least a dozen tissues. This movie is about finding peace again, after different losses. And while the characters go through the muck to find peace again, I found myself healing a bit and feeling more peace. The beauty that you can slowly put yourself back together after major trauma, as long as you have God to help. Believing he does hear your prayers and answers them, and realizing sometimes it may not be the answer or timing you want, but it's always when God knows you need it. Thank you Hallmark and everyone who helped bring this movie to life.

Ok so people need to remember these movies are not meant to be Oscar contenders. I love these movies simply because they make me smile. Now, I will be honest that I can't stand Sahil. I have no idea why on earth the character was written the way he was. It's really irritating. But I still smile and ignore him. I LOVE Mr. Zabala, he reminds me of Joe in The Princess Diaries. You can tell right away that Mr. Zabala loves Amber as if she was his daughter. And I think he loves Queen Helena and she him. It would be great if one more movie came out where they get married. The love between Amber and Emily is sweet, Amber really cared about Emily from the start, which is one of the reasons why Richard fell in love with her too.

The Best

Hands down this is the finest episode of any television show ever. Doesn't matter if you are Democrat or Republican, this episode shows the struggles every President and his advisors must go through when considering to stay an execution. It illustrates the human side to being President and staff during the debate. Do you follow your heart, mind, and religion and stay the execution? Or do you follow what the American People want? And allow it? Do you follow the Commandment that says "thou shall not murder?" And while Simon Cruz (the killer in this episode) is a murderer, does that then allow the President the right to murder him for his crimes?

Ok, here's the thing, these movies aren't Oscar nominations. They are just cute and fun. Obviously the point of the movie is Richard and Amber's soon to arrive baby. But there is one little sub-plot, the evolution of Queen Ming. When she and King Tai first arrive, Ming is standoffish and can't understand why King Richard married outside his class. But as the movie progresses you can see Queen Ming starting to warm up to Amber. When everyone goes to the Market, and many Aldovians are so happy to see Richard and Amber that's when you see Ming really change. I love these movies and watch them whenever I just need a smile and giggles.

Just One Kiss (2022 TV Movie)

WOW!

First of all, this movie definitely is not a "typical" Hallmark movie. It's a movie that should be in theaters, and it would make a killing. Everyone in the cast is fantastic, I was so happy to see Ava Grace Cooper. Santino Fontana who plays Tony actually has won a Tony Award for a performance on Broadway, so that is really him singing. And Krysta Rodriguez who plays Mia has been on Broadway as well. The "Moms" are a riot, and both Aida Turturro and Ileana Douglas had the "NY Mom" thing down perfectly. I lost count of how many times I said "Omg I LOVE this movie!" I wasn't really having a great day, but thanks to this movie I feel better. Trust me YOU NEED to see this movie.

Eddie Readmayne is the "Tom Hanks"of his generation of actors. Just when you think he has given the performance of his career, he does one even better. I first saw him in Hugh Jackman's version of Les Miz, and remember thinking he is going to become a huge star. As awful as it may sound, he was outstanding in this role. Jessica Chastain was perfection as Amy. She really captured every little detail not just with acting but her facial expressions as well. The moments when Amy realized Charlie was a murderer, her facial expressions and body language said more than any line Jessica could possibly say. It's important to note that while a part of the film does deal with Cullen's crimes, the main focus is on Amy, and her helping Law Enforcement taking Cullen down. Nothing is sensationalized for Hollywood. I lived in NJ when this happened, and I remember his arrest and pleading guilty. I don't know if Netflix movies can get Oscars, but if they do, this one should get every one possible.

This is a great Christmas movie! I really loved it and all the characters, but Jack stole the movie. He is so sweet and kind. I loved seeing Faith Ford again and her character is adorable. Going on my list of must watch Christmas movies.

Way Better

Unlike Selling Sunset, these Real Estate Agents actually SELL homes more than once a season. Also unlike Selling Sunset, these are smart, well spoken Agents. I love watching because I've never been to Australia, and their architecture is so vastly different. There is no stupid petty drama on this show. In fact, DLeanne, who is one of the top female Real Estate Agents, actually wants other female agents to do well. Some other review called these agents vapid. Furthest thing from the truth., Gavin Rubenstein is the best in his business because he totally understands the business. He knows exactly how much a property should sell for, how to get the right buyers, and how to close a deal, without being shady. That does NOT happen if he were stupid.

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. I've seen A Chours Line on Broadway 4 times, and none of those performances can touch the movie. The Dancers are far superior in the movie. Although I did see Pam Klinger who played Maggie in the movie, also portray her on stage. She brought the house down after "At the Ballet".

How on earth Wendie, Valerie, and Jane did not fall off their chairs when Betty came out with that Red Hair is beyond me. Although they probably did. I am just now watching after Betty's passing, after seeing a blooper reel on Facebook. This show is a lot of fun.

The original Princess Switch is fantastic, but this one is great! I really love that we got more character development. It is also really funny, Fiona is really a hoot in this movie. But I didn't expect to cry either. Just watch it!

The scene when George convinces Bailey to give birth and then stays with her is the finest performance of TR Knight's time on Grey's Anatomy. I really wish they hadn't killed off Kyle Machlaughlin's character because he and Mer would have made a good couple.

I've seen this episode a bunch of times, and it is always emotional. Bonnie and Tom are two of the best one episode characters in Grey's Anatomy history. They touch everyone they come in contact with. Great episode.

Mark and DeAnne and their family members are really good at playing dumb during depositions. It's scary though how they treat people. Bringing women to Mexico for a gastric sleeve to be thin?!?' The former employees are right, this is a cult.

My Dad showed this version to me when I was little. It always amazes me how talented the cast had to be to have no props and very little set. I saw Paul Newman as the Narrator on Broadway, but this version is my favorite.

Schitt's Creek is hands down the funniest show ever! You cannot get through an episode without laughing your butt off. Every character is over the top, but it works so well. They are all hysterical. I have started re-watching because I need more laughing and realized I missed lines from laughing so hard the first time! I wish the show went on for more years.

Yes this is a play on the stereotypical Romantic Christmas movie. But open your eyes and heart to what's really happening. The chilldren are the true stars of this movie. How their joy, laughter, and strength changes Prince Alec's heart is what happens. Stop judging Christmas movies as if they are Oscar Contenders, and open your heart and mind to their underlying messages. You might be surprised and realize they have things to offer that are far more important than acting skills

This is a very sweet movie. Even if you think it's a sterotypical Christmas movie, there isn't much sweeter than the scenes of the late Sir Roger Moore with the little girl melt your heart. And that really is what Christmas is really all about.

If you gave this movie a bad review, you clearly missed the entire point of everything that happened. This movie, just like the first one, was amazing! Funny, touching, heart warming and even a bit suspenseful. I am so glad Goldie got a bigger role. And like the original I cried. Thank you to everyone who worked on and in this movie! This is what we all need in 2020!

Yes it is a "typical Christmas movie". But so what? There is always a little special touch of a Christmas message in these movies. In this movie, it is when Livvy gives the Christmas Teddy Bear to Ellie after she finds Ellie crying. That's what Christmas is all about, kindness to others.

This was cute, but I adore the first one! Vanessa is still as adorable as ever. I am not a fan of the recast of Olivia at all. I do give Vanessa props for playing 3 characters, but it got a smidge confusing. I loved that Queen Amber and King Richard from Christmas Prince made a quick cameo at the end. I think a movie with all three couples would be cute

Just plain great

People often "rag" on Christmas movies as being nonsense and silly. But sometimes you need to really pay attention and digest the messages. Sure this is a Christmas movie, but it also is about the intertwining friendships of three women. The house was and again becomes their safe haven, and now their daughters learn that as well. Look for the messages, you will see them. I hope they consider making a sequel with the daughters carrying on the tradition. Or maybe adding an Inn near the house to spread holiday love to others.
