Devs (2020)

Thought inducing

For me "Devs" starts a bit slow, and throughout, the pace is mostly a plod along through the storyline, it has its moments where it provokes the thought processes, especially when you are left thinking, what just happened I don't suppose it's a totally original story, but it is unique enough to be different. Some may see it as marmite, either it will be loved , or it will be hated, my feeling is that you give it a few episodes before deciding whether to give up or continue.

I think I will watch the whole thing over again, at some point , as I'm sure there are things I will interpret different, which may add or detract from the experience.

Body of Proof (2011–2013)

Disjointed

The timeline could be a bit disjointed, with things happening on some episodes, that ignored what we had learnt previously, it was as if the episodes were shown out of sync with each other, (I binge watched on Disney plus UK and all episodes were shown in the same order as listed here on IMDB) also some of the story plots seemed partially repetitive , with just slight variations, at times, making it easy to figure 'whodunnit', how and why.

Some of the character actions and reactions were more believable than some shows that just embellish and sensationalise to try and make it more attractive, more 'Hollywood'

All in all it was worth watching, and deserved a longer run.

No Time to Die (2021)

Waning interest

I've enjoyed Daniel Craig as Bond, but this Movie felt like he didn't put his heart and soul into it, as he had done a plenty in previous outings.

Although the Movie is watchable, some of the action sequences seemed padded out, with all bang, and not a lot of content, and the story line plodded along at a sedentary pace, then before we know it, the end credits are rolling.

Artemis Fowl (2020)

Gruff voices detract

Why is it that most dialogue is with a gruff voices , as if the cast all had sore throats ? , This detracts from the enjoyment of the movie, that could have been that little bit better.

It's nothing amazing, but is worth a watch, if you can't find anything else to pass the time.

Private Practice (2007–2013)

Enjoyable

On the whole, the show was an enjoyable watch, it at time seemed to go off on a tangent, but reigned itself back in.

At times it seems to dwell on sadness and adversity, but at the same time helps us to find something to smile about.

Least said about the Musical episode the better... Season 6 was a bit of a disappointment, with its format a bit of a hotchpotch at times.

Disturbing the Peace (2020)

It's worse than an amateur dramatic pantomime , the wooden acting gives your eyes splinters , and the script is like something cobbled together, on a late night down the pub.

Books of Blood (2020)

Misophonia sufferers beware

If you suffer from Misophonia, as I do you may cringe a bit, whilst hitting the mute button early on in the movie, apart from that, it's watchable, but nothing to write home about.

Curvature (2017)

I got the box set on DVD after series two was not shown by sky TV in The U.K,and i have to agree that it should not have been cancelled,shows like this though will end up with cult status,and the TV execs will try to revive it,but then it will be to late...another cleverly thought out,cleverly filmed gem,with a strong cast and perpetual story lines that has slipped away into TV history,before cancelling a series the network should try and figure why viewing figures fall...us in Britain are at the networks mercy,a show thats popular here doesn't stand a chance if the American public hasn't been given the chance, to give it a chance.
