Brutes and Savages (1978)

Savage and brutes IS RIGHT

Lord have mercy. Pure evil. What some humans do is completely evil and unspeakable torture to these poor animals my gosh. And to think that we have opened our border to some of these horrible Savage people from Mexico and South America even China and other Asian countries and Africa and Haiti and Dominican Republic. And I am speaking about the bad eggs the true Savage beasts who are in human form. I truly think Jesus Christ has brought civility to those who listen. I'm afraid most of the USA is starting to become and regress back to the Savage ignorant Criminal age. When crime is actually glorified.

Ace the Case (2016)

Very clever crime-comedy

This is one of the best comedy drama crime movies I've ever seen. It's very clever. And the actors they used fit the parts perfectly. The characters really do come across as believable. Susan Sarandon looks fabulous for 70 years old in this film. She's worked on looking good and it does show. One of the characters -the little girl is incredibly a naturally funny witty kid. I couldn't believe how she made me laugh. There are parts of the film she surprised me.

The Shady character who holds the rabbit is hilarious. I mean the guy fits the parts so perfectly and he is so witty and hilariously funny. The Chinese guy was a great actor and really fits his role very well.

Basically like I said all of the actors fit their character role very well extremely well.

If you want to see a funny movie mixed with some crime drama sit down and watch this. I did read some reviews where the parents were not pleased with it. In that case with your children you can supervise the film sit with your kid and watch it. Or as an adult it's fantastic.

Nefarious (2023)

10 for profound

Deep dive into the TRUE definition of evil that "is before our eyes daily but society doesn't see it or feel it," according to the actor portraying a demon. Sean Patrick Flanery pulled this off very well. The psychiatrist actor Belfi too did a superb job drawing my attention deeper into the story. Belfi was quite engaging and believable. The film was quite clever and theologically very well researched. Communicated a strong message of warning to get back to doing God's will and how we are bombarded today by what is good is evil and what is evil is good.

Confusion. I think that's what the prisoner possessed was conveying to the psychiatrist that in today's world people are falling into the devil's hand with all of the evil taking over and being accepted by free will. Devil has tricked man. For instance "abortion is actually murder" says Sean Patrick the prisoner possessed and he goes on to say transgenderism and all those other twisted anti-creation anti-God sentiment is glorified lies leading to hell. Intense film and very good to hear a director standing up against evil in our world. Great job! God bless these directors and book author.

Andy makes me cry

I don't know if my previous review went through so I'm going to have to write again. Andy Garcia not only is handsome and Charming and very approachable but he has a way about pulling at the Heartstrings and making women feel emotional. It's from his emotional presence. He knows how to cry and show his emotions and he's not afraid to show his emotions he wears his emotions on his shoulders. This is very unusual and it's very unusual for an actor to be this incredibly gifted and skilled to draw in the audience and make them emotionally vulnerable and bring up tears and you see people crying left and right. He's A Gifted Man love him.

Big Driver (2014 TV Movie)

Excellent

This movie thought like I would if I were in her position. In fact this is exactly how I think when bad things happen. I always tell myself shut up take some time out step back and think. Never let the enemy know you are going after them. Do it in a very calculated strategic way that does not hurt you the victim. This was horrific to see her the character be assaulted like she was by this horrible evil psychopath but the whole strategy thereafter that unfolded was worth it to watch the movie. Learn how to handle hardship. This wants me to write more characters so I will keep on talking until NOW. 😂

Pretty suspenseful - emotional

"I do not know how to hotwire a car. I went to medical school." 😂 That was good. Hilarious! The movie is very warm and shows a loving father who is tortured by his lack of involvement in his family especially that he was not there for his wife when she was dying. So however the movie appears to be the dad taking the kids on a vacation trip where his African wife was born and raised. This is not a giveaway and this does not expose what the film is about however in the depth it's basically a family trip meeting up with a good loving family friend who was a white guy. It is suspenseful and enjoyable grab your popcorn and enjoy it.

Trial by Fire (I) (2018)

Captivating and emotional hook

Found this movie to be extremely interesting and emotionally captivating. A severe hopeless saga of denigrating and pitiful interactions encapsulated in a poor lowlife trashy lifestyle. The love couple are stuck in a sticky suction of undercurrent revealing a reckless toxic dysfunctional relationship. At the very base reveals uneducated poor White Texas blue collar drunks who neglect and abuse each other.

The worst outcome possible to witness grown adults so extremely wounded, hopeless, drug and alcohol addicted and unambitious. Prisons are full of self-destructive folks who display stupidity and have no direction or interest in self-improvement UNTIL THEIR LOCKED UP AND WRONGFULLY ACCUSED.

Innocent toxic idiots are vulnerable to the SOMETIMES corrupt justice system. Very sad movie. Tears. RIP to the innocents.

Great movie. Hard to believe these people exist. Sad but true. Worse is being crucified for a crime you never committed and betrayal of a loved one when you need them most.

Surprisingly good

Interesting. Kept my attention. Action packed. Suspenseful. Drama. Come to think of it... it almost discloses a tone of anti-liberal feminism or anti women via putting females in their place. Very unusual film. And then I see it is filmed in Morocco and I'm not sure who the director is but it could be a Muslim person involved in this film. They seem to portray the western female as a conniving backstabbing thug. Of course the two in the film actually are. But it would be interesting to see who wrote this film. It did keep my attention as I say. There was an element of good versus evil as far as behaviors. Pretty good movie though overall.

Demonstrates that character is who we are behind closed doors. Everyone at some point will be forced to make a decision. It will happen. The decisions we make are a compilation of what our desires are. Selling the soul ... For what? Swapping. Trading. All to get what we think is right or simply our desires. But is that a lie? Are we blinded by our selfish interests? Is it the right thing to do no matter what? Can we live with our decisions? Who do we hurt along the way? Emotions cloud out views of what is right. It takes tragedy sometimes to see what is most important. Then true character is revealed.

Beautiful story of romantic love and friendship

Worth watching. Sit down. Get comfortable. Here you'll find a touch of Warm interactions, loving loyal friendship, faith in God and kindness. There's a sting of betrayal and suffering. And then forgiveness. But not until the emotional process is given time to find its balance. Life isn't fair. Its not a steady stream of perfection and smiles and feeling great every day. No matter what color you are there's a challenge up ahead. It's all about how one handles and reacts to the obstacles and painful unfair events that cross the paths of life. Love joy friendship peace forgiving and letting go. God.

Outback (2019)

Zero stars: ridiculous and boring

First of all the female character was a total b**** to the mopey dude. I feel badly for the guy if this is truly how he was treated by this female. Secondly how stupid can you get to drive deep into the isolation of the outback especially without water supplies, food and safety measures. The movie was idiotic however maybe it will help someone who's as stupid. I've been to Sydney and Cairned Australia. No I didn't swim in the jellyfish infested waters. Rest in peace to the sad guy who died a torturous painful death drinking windshield wiper fluid. The trip was not worth it at all. Be careful who you fall in love with people. The chick was awful.

Golden retriever lovers 💝

Adorable warm sweet movie. If you're a dog or animal lover it will be fun to watch. If you're a golden retriever lover it will melt your heart. Plus the location scenery is gorgeous. Go check it out. Get comfortable in your chair grab a blanket grab some coffee or tea or whatever you like maybe some popcorn and sit down and watch this. Invite your little pet to join you. Maybe get some snacks for your pet. And if you don't have a pet just relax and enjoy this cute movie with beautiful scenery. I wasn't sure to watch it but I'm glad that I did. I of course have a baby golden retriever. Very sweet movie.

Brittany Runs a Marathon (2019)

It was great until...

I was enjoying the movie completely all the way through the twists and turns and mood swings and self-pity and longing and loneliness and frustrations and efforts to improve efforts to become a better person stumbling falling getting back up falling again having self-restraint self-control self-discipline sense of humor insight and courage to stand alone up until she insulted a big fat obese woman at her brother-in-law's birthday party. That little part showed a psychopath that completely ruined the whole movie for me. Because all of my empathy towards her went out the window. I can understand going after someone that you know but if you don't know them it makes you look like a complete psychopath. It went downhill from there so about 75% of the movie is great but the last 25% ruined for me.

I liked it

Good movie. Raw human interactions. Dry humor. Vulnerable and realistic. Two people stuck in the doldrums of life somehow find a common thread in there doomed dark existence. The hard luck and hard times that fall on individuals at times seem to bring these lost souls together in a quirky funny and uncomfortable way. It did seem very realistic and believable because I have known people like this and at times I have felt the pole the curtain fall down in life or upon me and I don't want to do much but I just go with the flow and not control it sit in my pain and just sit and relax and pamper myself and great things happen. And so it is in this movie.

Glad I watched

Looking for a good movie to focus on and enjoy. Woooohoo! Great choice. Action packed with a colorful adventure. Scenery is pretty. The story unfolds with a bold lesson given to a child who somehow later finds love as an adult. Boom. The honeymoon and excitement and danger and surprise take us on a edge of seat intensity. Yes I recommend that you watch this. A female lady who can defend herself is worth watching. Didn't expect such amazing punches and incredible moves. Bad guys vs good guys? This is it. Come on over and sit down. Relax. Get comfortable and tune in to a stimulating energy packed with punches.

Stupid

I cannot recommend this movie. It had potential but it really was off the top ridiculous and made absolutely no sense at all. You're probably better off watching the 1950s movie The fly. LOL. Seriously this movie was basically a get-together with some pretty famous faces that we've all seen in Hollywood and they all enjoy a big swanky location but it has absolutely no meaning. I guess you could compare this movie to a bored old man who has nothing better to do than to sit in his basement and pretend that he's a wonderful chef and he's going to destroy the world because he's all screwed up and he came from a screwed up background. I know that sounds ridiculous but that's how stupid the movie is.

Keep watching gets... GREAT

The movie starts out a bit dull. Or so it seems. Don't push stop. I about stopped watching 4x but kept on as the movie unfolds and paints a energetic spring. Talk about "humble" and "soft spoken" or "boring." Um... Best to be very careful around the nice boring guys. Why? Because they're usually full of piss and vinegar. Ive met quiet boring types who are the at the end result the most powerful reliable friends. Sometimes the boring one is the most confident and feels comfortable alone or not bragging or giving more than taking. Well this movie will make you shout for the underdog or at least you thought... He's actually the KING..

The Wishing Tree (2000 TV Movie)

Disappointing

The movie is basically about a 50-year-old black female who cannot get over her inferiority complex. I did try to like the movie. I like the actress because I saw her in another role alongside Kathy Bates and the movie was very uplifting. I thought this movie might be hopeful inspiring and uplifting but instead it was sour anger and a little bit of the black white racist issues popping up. Very disappointing. Plus the whole other scene involving another blk guy and the southern white family... We'll go watch but it wasn't written well. Can think of so many other ways this movie could have gone better directions. Too bad that the 80% failed. The beginning was a little promising for the first few minutes but it gets ridiculous. Not worth it. I don't recommend it.

Watch to the end. Beautiful story!

Tears. This is personal. I have a 2 year old naughty, loving, beautiful and mischievous golden retriever boy. A stranger at a local dog park struck up a conversation and asked me where I got my golden. Then proceeded to tell me that I've got to go watch The Art of Racing In the Rain. So I kept the idea tucked away in my to do list. Finally cpl weeks later I purchased it on my Prime account. Movie is very heartwarming. A little sad. Unfair. Hopeful. Profound. Thoughtful. Touches on life's moments that seem to grab us. Moving along life's gifts come and go stealing our hearts. Dogs are God's gifts to us, especially those of us who are alone in age, loss of our human best-friend, single, looking to complete a family, widowed or need love to give and receive. Watch it and relax. It brought tears to my eyes knowing one day my 2 year old golden will be gone. So I embrace all of his naughtiness and love him for his big sweet heart of gold.

Watch it to end or you'll miss the message

Starts out like a rated B sob story of 2 unhappy married men looking for the magic pill of total happiness and fulfillment. They reminisce of their younger days feeling free and without obligations. Well... I was not impressed at all. Ready to turn off. But 8cstayed on watching. I laughed at their Philippine trip - finding a blonde blue eyed female instead of an islander. That was hilarious. I mean usually the dudes go with the dark islander. The movie is about a journey to find the feeling of joy and love and happiness. Upon meeting a Buddhist monk they learn that there is not such a place outside of ourselves but within. Letting go. Not seeking the greener pastures but being conscious and accepting by letting go of attachment and expectations. That's my take.

Georgia Rule (2007)

Boring and crude

Listen people I tried. I really did try to watch this movie into about 20 minutes I could no longer tolerate the trashy crude Lindsay Lohan playing her real role. Evidently. I kept thinking to myself if I were the parent or Grandma I would not allow her to talk to me the way she does. I mean use a strategy psychology strategy even to try to turn the troubled trashy 20-year-old around. But to actually sit there and take this crap was so disheartening and crappy. The whole story was quite boring. Like I said I really tried to watch it into 20 minutes. Then I found myself fast forwarding to see what happened. And there's this 20-year-old sitting with a 44-year-old doctor playing a doctor that is. The whole thing is just absolutely nonsense. And then you bring in the child molestation drama and a dysfunctional mother and grandmother and alcoholism and other abuse. Sorry but this movie was not good at all. I've seen dark movies but this one was quite stupid and boring and the actress Lindsay Lohan is f minus. I don't know how in the world she became an actress. Believe me I don't want to think about it because I do sort of have an idea. And it's not very good.

This movie is a piece of garbage. Do not bother watching it. And it appears that I have to write hundreds of required characters before I can push submit. In this case I will go ahead and ramble on. Basically it's a nonsensical ludicrous ridiculous boring seedy comical trashy film. If you are a Lyft driver or such you might find this interesting. I would never want to be a rideshare with all the nut cases out there in the world. Too dangerous. Although this movie touches on a supernatural spooky side with Ludicrous scenes it's nothing short of trashy stupidity. I would not recommend anyone to watch this movie or anything like it.

Thoughtfully funny and emotional

Take a chance. Alone or with family or friend get comfy sit down watch this movie. One thing is for sure we can all agree prayer is helpful. Times get intimidating or we fall off our paths or insecurities and fears creep in. Finding balance and joy and calm become a challenge. Great movie for teens to watch too. Realistic movie about a families struggle in the real world. It's how one reacts to the hardships and struggles. How we care for ourselves and others. Some seek drugs and alcohol or sex to avoid reality. What do you do when days weeks years feel heavy and depressing? Well the best way is to focus on yourself to fix the issue but Jesus Christ will be the one to pull you back up. Amen.

Nanny (2022)

Complete nonsense

SUCKS. STAY AWAY.

The movie is nonsensical. In the most simplest terms it's a bunch of mumbo jumbo. It makes absolutely no sense. I mean you've got the so-called horror with a "spider crawling into your mouth." Then you have the witchy grannys effort to bring up racial divide w police arrest or abuse. And then you have the wealthy white mother not paying "nanny" enough money or cheating her... Seems like a bunch of nonsense. Whoever put this together had about 10 different ideas and tried to mold them into a movie. I cannot recommend this movie. I wasted 2 hours. I opened a bottle of wine. I mean I could have watched a great movie while I sipped my wine. What a joke.

Airspeed (1999)

Suspense on seat edgey

Wow. I almost passed this film up. I'm surprised how incredibly touched I was by watching this. It was very on-your-edge-of-seat suspenseful and exciting. Then came the emotional part. I say go watch it. It was very emotional towards the end. Very exciting. It was full of action and drama. Worth my time to view. You won't be sorry.

It starts out pretty much as a bratty teenager but the movie will pick up. The acting is incredible. The air traffic controller named Jeff was phenomenal. Great actor and what a good character he played. The stress that air traffic controllers go under is rated the number one stressful job in the world.
