Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
I have noting 10 and what is problem ?
Halloween III: The Sorcerer's Blood is a 1982 horror and SF film directed by Tommy Lee Wallace. So Halloween 3 is not horror, but science fiction.
Tommy Lee Wallace delivers for me an excellent work, so to tell you the truth, Halloween III was a turnip when it came out, by critics because there was no Michael Myers and he doesn't belong to the Halloween saga. And it is considered one of the worst horror sequels of all time (bah I don't know).
HALLOWEEN III IS PART OF THE SAGA FOR ME:
Halloween 3 is part of the saga for me, Halloween doesn't necessarily feature a serial killer, it's connected to a party with masks, candy and Halloween 3 takes the right Halloween codes, because Halloween can be anything, you put a monster it's H alloween, you put killer candy it's Halloween too, it's not just a serial killer. It doesn't matter that Michael Myers isn't here, but it's actually just pretty weird, but why literally the movie just for that, already that people on Allociné are tasteless people.
positive:
Halloween 3 has a lot of good things, especially for its very correct scenario that makes us want to see it and the scenario is neat, with good research and it literally changes context unlike the first two, because Halloween it maybe "Anything" is about making several stories linking the Halloween theme. I really like actors, with an endearing, interesting Tom Atkins. The atmosphere is rather successful especially for its music that atmosphere to perfection and not to mention the beautiful original theme composed by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth.
negative:
So this time I attack on the negative. Halloween 3 has quite extensive flaws, because it's a sci-fi movie, and in the SF you have special effects but the special effects are unfortunately not successful, especially for the guy badly camouflaged in his car (and then he burns, it did not related to special effects). There are some flaws in the staging because one moment you had a plan that connected several characters and it was a bit bad. And the title of the film is quite bizarre because in the film we don't see any wizard shrunk, instead we had to call it "The Season of The Masks" or "The Witch season".
Conclusion:
The Sorcerer's Blood remains for me an excellent entertainment, despite its some rather obvious flaws but do not spoil so many things as a whole.
I don't recommend the film to 12-year-olds
It Chapter Two (2019)
Ça 2.0
You want your boat, it's nice this boat (flu-sou in the 1).
Yesterday I had the very good idea to watch This: Chapter 2, the session took place at 8:05 p.m., and then the film started at 8:25 p.m., and then the movie ended at 11:00 p.m. (I was exhausted). I watched it with my brother and my mother, we thought it was great. And then the film is super scary, one of my biggest freaks of horror cinema, in fact I would say that it was the film that scared me the most, because there are jumpscares, but I'll come back to that later.
The Clan of The Ratés are going to come together again to beat the big bad guy, being an adult because in the movie they're not a kid, and besides you have James McAvoy in the role of Bill, and I'd say he's the most endearing character , after I still love the other characters but there is a character in I don't care completely, Stanley, the
dude dies already from the beginning
, I don't understand why they put him in the cast, and then his role served no purpose, and then the other one is asthmatic and he had more burns to come.
So starts first in
a carnival, with two homosexuals spending their time together, but after they've come out of the carnival, a group beat them up and throws a homosexual into the river and that's where we'll still see the first appearance of that, and it doesn't Don't do something very, very nice, he eats the heart of the gus.
And it starts great because the film already puts us in the mood from the beginning (like all horror movies).
SCARY AND ANTAGONISTE:
So I'd say it's more scary than the first one, and then there are more jumpscares, not to mention when
The little girl wanted it to make her disappear her stain on her face, and then all of a sudden you have 15 seconds of silence and jumpscare
intense, there's also the moment when
Ben (child) ends up with the Clown in the locker. Every scene in this movie is scary, super stressful and beautiful:
Ex: The mirror scene where Bill tries to save the child, and then the child gets trapped between walls. And behind it's that and it starts to break the window
, this scene put me in a tense situation. Every scene stressed me out, the hairs of my arm bristling, my legs shaking, the jumps. Now I'm going to go on the antagonist. The one who sought the look of That is genius, the eyes offbeat (it makes his look scary), the face all white with the two traces he has on the face and in addition the voice that goes perfectly with. A big icon of horror.
PERSONNAGES:
They're all cool because I really like James McAvoy in the role of Bill, because he's super endearing, after I really like Beverly, and I felt so much emotion I had towards her, because for a moment she was thinking about her past with her father, she was living a difficult past, traumatic and besides his father is a real jerk, and if I could also remember what is on him in the 1 is that he is a pervert, a rapist and he wants his daughter to be like his mother. Richie Tozier always as endearing, funny I really like the moment when he says "We're all going to float"), often he comes out hilarious phrases. Ben is also clearly one of my favorite characters, and then he's lost weight (we're fighting the squeaks) and he's super well interpreted. Eddie, the asthmatic, pretty much interesting but he doesn't really bring much to the film and lately there's Mike Hanlon who is my favorite character because he brings a lot to the film, because he knows how it was born (I think) and then that's the element important part of the film, a valuable person.
IMPRESSIVE SCENE:
This film features an impressive scene, neat at the level of special effects, I'm talking about the end fight scene. the
It's impressive and I'm in love with the scenery.
After for the script, I find it very correct, it's sought normally, it's clean and then it makes you want to see the movie a lot.
CONCLUSION: That: Chapter 2 is an excellent sequel, even better than the first. Stuffed with jumpscare, with an endearing villain and super creepy. In short a great discovery, if you want to see it, it's now or never.
I do not recommend for under 16s.
Phantasm II (1988)
SPECTACULAR !!!!!
Phantasm II: The Ball Is Back is a 1988 action, SF and fantasy film directed by Don Coscarelli. After a first episode that was really great despite his low budget of 300,000 dollars, Don Coscarelli had made a sequel whose realization had cost him 3 million dollars, so a budget much more than the first, but Phantasm II did will not exceed the first on the one hand for critics.
HISTORY:
After the events of the first, Mike Pearson finds himself in a psychatric hospital, he is released 7 years later, he finds his friend Reggie to save a girl named Liz, who she feels pursued by the Tall Man.
Phantasm II begins with the end of the 1st, that moment that was totally dramatic for the young man, Mike is actually kidnapped by the Tall Man, and Reggie will try to save him. So this beginning starts pretty well, because the scene goes super fast, it put me in tension when Reggie finds himself trapped with all the dwarves, I find the music great and then a big effects-special, an explosion that put me in full view.
I'm totally surprised because it's crazy to see a movie that mixes three genres at the same time, action, fantasy and SF. And Phantasm II puts us more in view unlike the first, with its totally enjoyable scenes for me, it sends us more dream, more violence, but less this horrifying atmosphere, so it's not a horror movie for me. There are many more dgins, a little more sphere, because there are three who walk in the funeral home, a Tall Man who looks much more aggressive, always well interpreted by Angus Scrimm, with his disturbing look even with his sneering character.
He also shows us more gadgets, especially for the Hardware scene, when Reggie and Mike take almost everything, and Reggie makes a super four-gun gun, Mike who makes a flamethrower, two objects a little wacky, crazy.
Phantasm II surfs a little on the wave of Evil dead 2 especially for its funky side, like the scene of the chainsaw, that's it. Phantasm II surpasses the first on the one hand for special effects and budget, but it does not exceed it on the one hand for its horrifying atmosphere, because I found that in the
first there was a heavy atmosphere, more suspense etc.
ACTORS
After the positive, I leave in the negative, because finds the actors who play worse, like for the end scene when Reggie looked like played the comedy, a nullissime JamesLeGros. The only person who plays well for me is Paula Irvine (Liz).
Phantasm II: The Ball is Back is a sequel a little more superior to the first, because I like the story more, I find it more logical despite the acting games, but at least there's the soundtrack of Fred Myrow that I think great and that makes the film hold.
I ban the film at least 12 years with warning.
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum (2019)
Masterpiece !!
John Wick: Parabellum is just perfect, I watched it streaming with a quality not bad and not at all disgusting. And I'm glad I watched it, because I've seen all the John Wick, and this one's my favorite. Long live Chad Stahelski.
Chad Stahelski is just having a great career, since I've been through all of John Wick, I should take my foot off the gas. John Wick: Parabellum is simply the action movie of the year, of 2019, it dethrone Avengers Endgame for my part, I mean I think it's much better, that's it.
Scenes.
John Wick: Parabellum invades the screen with action scenes, we take action scenes in the face, John Wick Parabellum puts us in full view, with his gunfight and his sequence of choreography, with its violence including the scene of Knives remains entertaining and very tenacious, the scene of horses with the big blows of extreme hoof in the guy's mouth, his satisfying motorcycle race with great action, the scene of the library where John Wick a giant with a book etc.
PERSONNAGES
After for the characters, it's bof, because there are some that are useless for my taste, the Chinese who is played by Mark Dacascos, the guy is just a fan of John Wick and I find his appearances useless, I find it not interesting. There's also the cwoer, where I don't hang on, because every time she appears, it's boring, the scenes with her are slow etc. After for the characters I love there's Sofia, a big talent edin in terms of combat, with her malinois too cute. John Wick who still survives but he can not fight well (because he's getting old), but it's getting less and less interesting for me. Winston the old man I still can't hold on to, Charon that I find a little more interesting Ssant in this opus because he fights and he serves a lot towards the end, I was telling myself that he is doing pretty well, John Wick and Charon is a sick duo. In addition there is Vivaldi's music from the four seasons in the scene where John Wick allies with Charon (I know it has nothing to do because I have to talk about the characters).
So here's my opinion on the characters ^^
NEGATIVE AND ILLOGICAL
And lately what bothers me in this film is that the guy who holds the white pigeon in his hand, gets sliced everywhere and we see him posay in his seat at the end. And lately it's that John Wick falls from hyper high, he takes the barrier hyper strong in his back and he stays alive. That's what bothered me. And then I was so scared for John, because if he died I would cry.
Well, I know my review is short, but I just wanted to show you my points that there are on this movie ^^
I can't wait for John Wick's blu-ray and steelbook to come out ^^
I ban the film at least 12 years with warning.
