Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields (2023)
Not a documentary
It was so contradictory and full of unanswered questions. Brooke Shields keeps defending her mother, the movies and the ads she made (shockingly sexualized for her age) and even the child pornography - she simply said that a friend of the family who was photographer took some pics of her naked while she was a child (!) in order to distribute them to men who had paid! And then because that photographer circulated the photos many years later her mother took him to trial! Maybe because she didn't make any money out of this? And Brooke seemed ok with this exploitation. When i heard her justifying it i was in shock! I do not recommend this fake documentary, i am deeply disappointed. It just washes out the truth.
The White Lotus (2021)
close up of poop? seriously?
In the beginning of the first episodes i was really enthusiastic about it but then it was too much. I mean, not realistic. The general manager after so many years of service suddenly meets someone (the rich asshole) that makes him go back to drugs? I mean, these guys should be a routine there. Also why did we have to see him poop? I freaked out! Did we have to see that? What did this close up of his poops offered to the scene? It was awful. The creator probably thought it was breakthrough tv?
