Idiotest (2014)
Absolutely terrible
Everything about the show is horrible - from a frankly uncomfortable host with a hoarse voice who shouts at the top of his lungs every 10 seconds, to a time-wasting set-up of "get back to your seats". Everytime someone comes to the screen, the host attempts awkward conversations, almost always resulting in facepalm moments.
Even if you wanted to get through that for some reason, the show is ripe with problematic words and ideas - beginning with calling everybody an idiot, and ending with misogynistic remarks on people's bodies.
If all of that could be ignored for a second, you get to witness the most useless, unimaginative and downright moronic questions on the table, which the host then goes ahead to explain while shouting in his hoarse voice. All of this, mind you, is done with obvious forced laughter to successfully make it the worst show of all time.
This show manages to get everything wrong, and that is its only consistency.
Blindspot: The Tale of the Book of Secrets (2019)
The Climax: From an adorable adventure feeling to dangerous thrill to making us cry
This was the climax episode that had every beautiful thing in the show ever. It solves the last episode's cliffhanger by bringing in a new Del Toro, then delivers on the promise that it has been building up to, and makes us realise that for the first time ever, Jane could actually die. It also gives Patterson the much needed space time which makes the show even more amazing, and oh, Rich's blabbering in the previous episodes finally start making real sense as the show shows almost all its cards, giving athe most hugely satisfying episode of the season.
Blindspot: The Big Reveal (2019)
This episode will save the series!
Blindspot's brilliance is back. After a series of underperforming episodes, they finally bring back an episode full of twists and turns right from the first minute. It's thrilling, suspenseful, the reveal is emotionallyy satisfying and nothing in this episode is bad one bit. Absolutely loved it. Episodes like these are why I'm still watching this show!
Little Things: Leicester City F.C. (2018)
Perfect: A Touching Story, Wonderfully Told.
This episode finally addresses the biggest fear and doubt of any relationship - is this the best person to be in a relationship with? There's always an attraction, a crush, a sheerly likable person that's really interested and had it not been for the relationship that you're already in, you'd have definitely just gone ahead with them.
It addresses all the questions of what if, and gives the most thoughtful and amazing answers in a conversation that we all have, once in our lifetime. I'll not try to paraphrase their words, because the feel of this episode is unreal and I highly recommend you to watch this video, even if you haven't watched the series. To the makers, thank you for making this. It's beautiful and I couldn't be more impressed!
Blindspot: Hella Duplicitous (2018)
Thrills, bores and then, thrills again.
If you were desperately waiting to know what happens after the spectacular finale of the last season, this definitely will not disappoint.
It creates a great background in the first few minutes, you get a "sexy swordfight", you see Sandstorm rising again, you see an evil side of the ever innocent Blake Crawford and Tasha kills it with her mysterious aura.
But right then, Jane's partner dies before he could be significant to the plot, Weller's new look sucks, Jane trying to be double sided is more distressing than thrilling, Whyte, who's arguably the worst character ever to appear on Blindspot returns as FBI Director and Blake DIES. Honestly, Weller & Reed are two boring characters out there right now and the episode revolved around them which killed the thrill it produced. But in the end, it has potential. The new vllain has a vile smile, she has Tasha with her who plans to fake her own death. Jane has hallucinations - and I hope the writers use this to provide chilling narratives, as opposed to the self doubt in her mind. And Patterson might know where Tasha is. Oh, and Jane is the FBI Most Wanted now. You have a great plot available here, writers. Don't screw up, please.
