When this show first aired I avoided it like the plague! But one weekend I was ill I borrowed them from a friend that raved on about season two and how "Amazing the story line" was! So he lent me his DVD's of this show and I have been glued to every episode! The thing you will find with this series is every season will basically evolve around the same basic conventions of CTU mole/Double crossed/Jack kicking ass/Jack going against protocol among some others that I won't go into in case you are wanting to get into the show.

But it is with these conventions that make this show great! It grips you into watching the next episode week after week and keeps you guessing…"what next?" 24 is a modern day master piece of action/drama that I for one will follow till its end, and will recommend to anyone.

South Park: Britney's New Look (2008)
Season 12, Episode 2
6/10
Spoiler: Hit and Miss
26 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Now then, Season 12 so far has been hit and miss for me. Seeing as its only 2 episodes into it so far I won't comment on that. After seeing "Tonsil Trouble" and having little laughs I personally thought the next one will be better. How I was wrong! Britney's new look starts out with some promise about how the media today is more interested with celebrities downfalls, as shown in the first scene where Randy and the boys are watching TV about the debate, looking bored. Then the debate get cuts off by a "Britney report". Suddenly Randy jumps with excitement about what she has been doing. In this case "Camping in South Park and peeing on a lady bug".

Then the boys get an idea to try making money from getting a photo of Britney "shiting on a squirrel" after seeing that the guy who took the photo of her peeing on a lady bug getting thousands of dollars.

This could be the setup for what could be a funny show, putting the boys in some funny situations. No! Britney blows her head off with a shotgun. The episode then just becomes all about how Stan and Kyle want the media to leave her alone.

This episode is more about us the public than it is about laughs. Showing no matter how down a depressed that Britney is in real life the media are always there to make money of her, and we want to know all about it. Personally I couldn't care.

I understand that Matt and Trey like to make episodes about what's going on in the news or what not. But with this one I personally reckon they were just fishing for ideas. The show is and always will be great.

But for people only just getting into it, they will probably see different when making shows like this one.

Reservoir Dogs (2006 Video Game)
3/10
Not worth £2
15 September 2006
This game is actual garbage! I rented it from my local game store with a grin on my face thinking I hope it's as good as the movie, as you play in what would be the plot holes. Well I install the game and was shocked at what I got for my £2 for renting the game for the night. For starters the game controls are near pathetic, the graphics on the game are obsolete, and the game play is terrible. When you play the first level and you've played them all! The developers added crappy driving levels into it (maybe to try and make the game more interesting) but that's even worse. The way the car handles is shockingly bad the slightest tap on the handbrake and a direction button and you skid 90 degrees. One feature on the driving aspect is that you can shoot while driving and run over a couple innocent pedestrians.

Now on to a feature that seems to be popping up in a lot of games lately… slow motion! Or "Bullet festival" as they call it. Once you have enough adrenaline from killing cops or hostages you can enter this mode to activate that particular player's special ability (basically a short animation of them combing their hair or throwing a cigar away) and enter slow motion. With this on you can shoot multiple times into several cops or whoever at once and avoid getting injured yourself. Once the adrenaline has runs out you can see your victims get hit and fall down dead. But again once you seen one cop go down you've seen them all.

Not having the voices of the original cast hindered the game play and cut scenes. Only having ONE! Member of the cast was pointless. (That's a personal feeling I don't know what you other gamers would think of this fact) To sum up my little review of this game: If you're a fan of the movie and you want everything that has got something to do with it then this game is worth buying but only at a low cost. If you fancy just having a fun time killing cops and hostages your better off playing any GTA game.

Who can I speak to… about getting my £2 back!!!
