Backstage with Katherine Ryan (2022)
Brilliantly diverse
A number of comedy genres are brought together here by one of the best comedians in the world right now. The back stage shenanigans are brilliant and showcase the natural humour of the eclectic mix of funny people. Undoubtedly though it's the episodes with friends and long serving colleagues that shine - the Jimmy Carr and Nish Kumar episodes being particular highlights. I binged the entire thing and am only adding this review in the hope that Amazon add another series. I need more of Katherine (who doesn't) and friends. Also If easily offended then this probably isn't for you.
Reacher (2022)
80's action and quips
I don't do long reviews so to summarise it's the classic but very well made tv adaptation of a novel made for men to fantasise about being the hero. Throw in a charming lead, and good script and strong supporting characters, and there's little else to beat it in this genre.
Watch it, you'll have fun.
Code 404 (2020)
Laugh out loud funny
You'll be howling at least three times an episode, and what else can you say that about now?
A fun, funny, and superbly acted show.
Watch the first episode and if you haven't snorted before he throws up in the car then it's not for you.
Vacation Friends (2021)
So much better than the rating
It's laugh-out-loud funny at times and the rest of the time you'll be having fun.
It follows the standard formula, which was the only disappointing thing, but ultimately made it heart warming. Loved the actors. Loved the characters.
Should have been on at the cinema.
Perfect date movie.
