Enola Holmes (2020)
Great movie for all
I have been very quick to say how bad most Netflix movies are (which they are). However this is a nice gem of a movie. Great fun and nice to see a movie that everyone in a family can watch.
The movie has good pace, great acting, an enjoyable storyline and is just nice to watch. It's not trying to change the world, or make you think, but entertains for two hours. In this COVID world, 2 hours of harmless enjoyable entertainment is what everyone needs.
Highly recommend this movie, great for a Saturday night or a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Project Power (2020)
Who is green lighting this sh**
This is just awful. Netflix should be ashamed. I am ashamed watching half of it. I feel dirty.
The Last Days of American Crime (2020)
I feel a part of me died watching this
Watch paint dry, this could be the worse film on Netflix.
Netflix films had been getting better, not sure why they are buying awful films that would have been in the bargin bucket in blockbusters in the day.
The film will probably get a cult following from being so bad.
The King (2019)
Great film
I had to search this film out at the Cinema (Netflix sort out your deals with cinema chains...). Well worth it, great film from the start and builds as it goes along. All actors are great (well not sure if Patterson was having a laugh, but did work). Not really into Shakespeare, so don't get confused that you must be a fan to enjoy film, it stands on it own. Great plot with nice realistic twists.
Last 5 minutes was a fitting end to the film, a boy, to a man, to a King.
