Dhoom:2 (2006)
An excellent visual treat
Well, the movie DHOOOM 2 is rocking....All film lovers are gonna get a real entertainment in this. Hrithik is dashing.....
At last we saw a director who really used the potentials of this damn good actor. He has really done a fantastic job. The dialogues and the comedy of the film are very good. Uday has a perfect timing of comedy.Abhishek's personality suited well for the character of ACP.Jay. The action scenes in this film is really breathtaking!
And...kudos to Aish for her hard workouts to get into that lovely figure! She is(as always)stunning....and she danced brilliantly for " Cray kiya re" song..
One thing I found a bit boring was the timing of the songs...
But...altogether, the film is gonna be a trend setter in Bollywood films..
Jacob (1994)
A nice biblical film
It was nice to see the things visually which we read in bible about Jacob. The film focuses on Jacob's hardships in life, even if he gained his father's blessings.
Jacob deceived his father saying he is Esau...through this film another thing is made clear...he too got deceived by his father-in-law as payback.I didn't noticed that fact before....
I liked the way in which Leah was portrayed in the film. The girl's feelings are shown carefully in it. Also Rachel's heart is broken on learning about her father's cunning nature. In pain, she tells the family that Jacob's God will punish you for this.
Zoya (1995)
Watch the strength of her
Danielle Steels's Zoya creates a deep mark in mind. The director has got an astonishing style of portraying the tragic events in the story. At first I realised it when I saw the dying scene of Zoya's military brother. Zoya is telling him that I am going to bake cakes for you.And the dying man says 'Little Zoya, I am not hungry'.This is really heartbreaking.
The script of the movie has a magical way for directly piercing the heart. When Zoya lost her husband and money,we hear from her son telling about their old neighbour, 'She don't want to remember us, because we don't have money'.
Later at a point we see Zoya who is hunted by tragedies, going to the streets with her children. Her friend asks her ' You have future plans?' And she replies, 'Someone once said, if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans' The film's story is fascinating. The anguish of Zoya is handled with a graceful care. It shows the power of mind and love in a woman. It is really worth seeing.

Sainyam (1994)
Fantastic Movie
This is a superb movie made by director Joshi. The film is based on the life of an officer in air-force. Mammotty is dashing. He is excellent in the role of the officer. The sets are expensive with aircrafts. Bubbly Priya Raman and graceful Mohini are added attractions of the film. The comic situations has worked out well. One could find his eyes flooded during the climax scene. The music score suits well with the film and it is very nice especially the patriotic song " Nenjil Edanenjil". Editing as well as camera of the film is fine. The fight scenes are a bit long with lot of fire and blast.Although it is an entertainer, the film has got some good messages to convey.Hats off to the crew.
