Three's Company: The New Landlord (1979)
The New Landlord (Official Review)
This episode is a great transition from the Ropers to Mr Furley. However, any true Three's Company fan will tell you that the Ropers were never good enough to have a series of their own. John Ritter is and was Three's Company plain and simple. Even Norman Fell had hesitations about a standalone Roper series. The New Landlord gets a 1 star because why was Lana so mean to Mr Furley in this episode? She calls him a "worm" 3 times... why?? Just because he has a crush on her?? He did nothing to deserve such treatment other than the writers were trying to be funny. This episode would be a 10 if not for that.
Three's Company: Jack's Navy Pal (1978)
Jack's Navy Pal (Official Review)
If this were an episode of Law and Order, it would be absolute gold. A drunken maniac committing assault and battery and vandalism. However, being that is is a sitcom, at any what point in this episode did you feel like laughing? 173 episodes but this one, the producers got it wrong. An old navy buddy of jack's shows up to even a score from long ago. Oh but wait, he's now a blind alcoholic with a cane and we're supposed to feel sorry for him?? Jack was slugged not once...but twice...hard in the face in this episode. Apparently in 1978, calling 911 to report a crime was not in place? As great as Three's Company was...this episode might be the worst of the worst ugh.
Three's Company: Secret Admirer (1980)
Secret Admirer (Official Review)
If you can completely suspend your disbelief even for one second, then this episode might appeal to you as it's lighthearted and has a feel good ending. In the real world however, adults do not have "secret admirers", they have stalkers. Chrissy has been receiving hand written notes with bad poetry from a guy in her work place. She's so excited that he could be the "one" and takes a chance at meeting in him at the pub. After this fails because he's so shy, she invites him to the apartment...a complete stranger that is. We learn that for three years, he's been saving a newspaper for her at his newsstand. A newsstand that apparently she never even stopped at to buy a coffee or anything for that matter. This is supposed
to be endearing because he's a nerdy guy with glasses and only wanted to meet Chrissy to give her a toast. A one star rating because nerdy stalker guys do not get invited to a beautiful woman's home in the real world :(
Three's Company: Janet Wigs Out (1982)
Janet Wigs Out (Official Review)
Every great series has its share of stinkers no doubt. This episode of Three's Company is one of them as it makes no sense. Imagine being so insecure about yourself that you have to rely on a fake hairdo to attract men that you don't even know while a Gentleman (Bill the new neighbor) wants to get to know the real you? Some laughs are provided at the end when Jack appears looking like a playboy. This got a star as he was so funny :) This episode is most memorable for being Cindy's last appearance as she waves goodbye when leaving the pub after the new janet treats her like garbage. Interestingly enough, the actor who played Bill stopped acting in 1982...shortly after this episode ;)
Enemy at the Gates (2001)
the settings of war is realistic...
The settings were as grim as could possibly be made. This always makes for a good war movie. Whether or not the love story was true ...it doesn't matter. I am sure at one point during the Battle of Stalingrad, a male Russian Soldier and a female Russian soldier were together at the brink of death. The young boy going back and forth between the Germans and Russians is unfortunate however. Did he know fluent German and why would a high ranking German officer even communicate with him? The hanging scene at the end makes you feel empathy toward the Russians so it's effective. Bob Hoskins as Khrushchev is tremendous. His acting provides insight into the desperation of the invasion.
Chasey Revealed (1994)
A memorable clip
There's a scene in which she describes how her Love toys modeled after her body are made. She remains fully nude the entire time while a few very lucky plaster dudes get to play with her bits and parts :))
The Blacklist (2013)
Those god awful songs...
Each episode ends with an awful song. Perhaps the creator of the show or director grew up listening to them and decided to include them in the last five minutes. I find myself lowering the volume or even muting the sound they suck so much. If it wasn't for these terrible songs,i'd give the show at least 5 stars or higher (rolling eyes emoji)
Wolf (1994)
the stupidest movie ever
Is stupidest even a word?? But it most definitely describes this movie!!! No explanation what so ever why a demon wolf was hanging out in Vermont and why he was driving there. Ugh!!! Hated this movie.
Two and a Half Men: Camel Filters and Pheromones (2004)
Megan Fox......
Wowza!! Megan Fox was super smoknn hott....but not till she was 18 :))
