Partiu portrays the spoiled kids of the easy wealth of the Brazilian nouveau riche in Rio de Janeiro. Daniel (Victor Gorgulho) turns 20 and has the night in his life that will redefine who he is, his future and his moral self. The short exposes Brazils culturally void and morally decadent high society. Partiu won the Wasserman Award - top prize of the 2015 First Run Film Festival of NYU Tisch School of the Arts and was in the 2015 official selections of the Bermuda International Film Festival, Sarasota film Festival, Atlantic Film Festival and Vancouver International Film Festival. Partiu has also been shortlisted by The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) for the 2015 BAFTA US Student Film Awards.
