An Inupiat girl, Navajo gang banger, Mohawk stockbroker and Quechuan healer traverse the epic landscapes of Alaska, New Mexico, Manhattan and Peru, drawing strength from their tribal past to transcend the challenges of the day and embrace the promises that await them.
