People who are in the movie business and just don't make it better but are the epitome of why people say the movie industry is declining. This list is not final. It can (and probably will_ be expanded.

1. Harvey Weinstein

Producer | Shakespeare in Love

Harvey Weinstein was born on March 19, 1952, in Flushing, Queens, New York City, New York, USA, the first of two boys born to Max and Miriam Weinstein. He is a film producer, known for Pulp Fiction (1994), Shakespeare in Love (1998), and Gangs of New York (2002). He has been married and divorced ...

Because of this man, Saving Private Ryan lost Best Picture to Shakespeare in Love, The Reader (which few liked. It holds a 62% approval rating on RT) got a Best Picture nom over The Dark Knight and/or WALL-E, and Chicago beat The Pianist for Best Picture. Leave the Oscars alone Mr. Weinstein. I'm not saying you should stop producing movies per se, but leave the Oscars alone.

2. Michael Bay

Producer | Armageddon

A graduate of Wesleyan University, Michael Bay spent his 20s working on advertisements and music videos. His first projects after film school were in the music video business. He created music videos for Tina Turner, Meat Loaf, Lionel Richie, Wilson Phillips, Donny Osmond and Divinyls. His work won...

He substitutes explosions for stories. this clip from South Park pretty much explains it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeSUuj98Rx0

Summer Blockbusters can be about more than explosions Mr. Bay. The Dark Knight, Jaws, Star Wars, yes all of them had special effects and explosions (Jaws only had one but it counts!) but they also had stories and characters in them.

3. Jason Friedberg

Writer | Disaster Movie

Jason Friedberg was born on January 16, 1970 in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He is a writer and director, known for Disaster Movie (2008), Epic Movie (2007) and Meet the Spartans (2008).

Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Vampires Suck, the new Avatar spoof, just stop it.

4. Aaron Seltzer

Writer | Disaster Movie

Aaron Seltzer was born on January 12, 1974 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. He is a writer and director, known for Disaster Movie (2008), Date Movie (2006) and Epic Movie (2007).

see above.

5. M. Night Shyamalan

Producer | Lady in the Water

Born in Puducherry, India, and raised in the posh suburban Penn Valley area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, M. Night Shyamalan is a film director, screenwriter, producer, and occasional actor, known for making movies with contemporary supernatural plots.

He is the son of Jayalakshmi, a Tamil ...

Now, this guy had total potential. The Sixth Sense and Signs were both excellent. But with recent crap like The Happening and The Last Airbender, let's just stop it okay?

6. Megan Fox

Actress | Transformers

Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and raised in Rockwood, Tennessee to Gloria Darlene Tonachio (née Cisson), a real estate manager and Franklin Thomas Fox, a parole officer. She began her drama and dance training at age 5 and at age 10, she moved to Port St. Lucie, ...

The term Actress is pretty loose here. If she looked like Bette Davis in whatever happened to Baby Jane and had the same level of talent, no one would know her name.

7. Charlie Sheen

Actor | Two and a Half Men

Charlie Sheen was born Carlos Irwin Estévez on September 3, 1965, in New York City. His father, actor Martin Sheen (born Ramon Antonio Gerard Estevez), was at the time just breaking into the business, with performances on Broadway. His mother, Janet Sheen (née Templeton), was a former New York art ...

Him being in the news will go out of style in a few months, but let's just ignore him now shall we? It's a pity, he was so good in Platoon.

8. Jackie Earle Haley

Actor | Little Children

Jackie Earle Haley is an American actor who started his career with The Bad News Bears. He had more adult roles in Little Children, the cult classic Zack Snyder film Watchmen, Alita: Battle Angel, and Freddy Krueger from a remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. He has been married three times and has...

Now I'm not saying this guy should stop altogether, but he should stop playing Freddy. Only Robert Englund can play Freddy.

9. Tom Six

Director | The Human Centipede (First Sequence)

Tom Six was born on August 29, 1973 in Alkmaar, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. He is a director and writer, known for The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009), The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) (2015) and The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (2011).

Reading the synopsis for the Human Centipede II, I realize that he's not doing it for art or money (the HC films have grossed around $350,000 so far), he made them to further some sick fetish of his or something. A normal human mind does not create these films and try to make them more and more horrid just for the sake of it.

10. George Lucas

Writer | Star Wars

George Walton Lucas, Jr. was raised on a walnut ranch in Modesto, California. His father was a stationery store owner and he had three siblings. During his late teen years, he went to Thomas Downey High School and was very much interested in drag racing. He planned to become a professional racecar ...

Enough with the Star Wars re-releases!
