A list of all my other favourites in TV and Movies: directors, producers, editors, writers, musicians etc

1. Steven Spielberg

Producer | Schindler's List

One of the most influential personalities in the history of cinema, Steven Spielberg is Hollywood's best known director and one of the wealthiest filmmakers in the world. He has an extraordinary number of commercially successful and critically acclaimed credits to his name, either as a director, ...

Has to be the finest director of them all

2. Roy Clarke

Writer | The Misfit

Roy Clarke was born on January 28, 1930 in Austerfield, South Yorkshire, England, UK. He is a writer, known for The Misfit (1970), Last of the Summer Wine (1973) and The Wanderer (1994). He has been married to Enid Kitching since 1953. They have two children.

Has to be one of if not the finest of the sitcom writers

3. John Sullivan

Writer | Only Fools and Horses

John Sullivan was born on December 23, 1946 in Balham, London, England, UK. He was a writer and producer, known for Only Fools and Horses (1981), Dear John (1988) and The Green Green Grass (2005). He died on April 23, 2011 in Surrey, England, UK.

If you're the writer of the finest sitcom then you have to be up there with the best writers in TV

4. Ronnie Hazlehurst

Music_department | The English Patient

Ronnie Hazlehurst was born on March 13, 1928 in Dukinfield, Cheshire, England, UK. He was a composer, known for The English Patient (1996), Last of the Summer Wine (1973) and Only Fools and Horses (1981). He died on October 1, 2007 in Guernsey, Channel Islands, UK.

Last of the Summer Wine's musical writer, there are plenty better than Ronnie but not who wrote music constantly for nearly 30 years on the same programme
