25 Sexy Actors Who Have Played Vampires

"Moonlight" was cancelled wayyyyy too early! I was just getting into it, too. Mick St. John was a great character. He was the best TV vampire I had seen in a long time. I loved the makeup that Alex had when he would "vamp out" -- the rims around the eyes looked so good. In my opinion, he was the best cast vampire on that show. Alex is really gorgeous. My friend Filip looks so much like him... haha. He tells people that they are related even though Alex is from Australia and Filip is from Norway.

Eric Northman is soooo hot on "True Blood." He may look a little bit weird with really short hair but he still looks pretty good. I prefer him with long blonde hair myself. Alexander is really snygg.

When I found out that Alec Volturi was turned at such a young age, I was shocked. Cameron looks so great as Alec but he makes it hard to believe that Alec was turned at only 13 or 14 years old. He looks so mature in the role. Either way, I would love to have him look at me with those sexy red eyes.

Darren Shan might be only a half-vampire but Chris is all sexy! He has the perfect look for a vampire, too. He has those intense eyes that draw you in and that boyish charm that makes him irresistible. I would love to see him with fangs in another vampire role. Reading his background, it must have really drove his family nuts to learn he was going to play a vampire. Well done! He should play one again. He doesn't need to listen to his parents forever. LOL

When I first saw a trailer for the movie "Vampire Journals," I was instantly attracted to the young vampire I saw. I found out the character's name was Zachary and, after reading a character bio, I was hooked. A vampire with a conscience? That's rare. Seeing David in the role, however, really convinced me that it could be done. David looked really hot as Zachary. His hair, his eyes, his face... everything looked so good. His costumes and makeup were great, too. They, as well as Zachary's personality, inspired one of my stories and I used several pics from the movie in it. Even today, David is still quite handsome.

Niran is so evil. Wow. But Dom is so hot! I have seen some clips from "Vampires: The Turning" and they look kind of cheesy. The blood looks really fake. Despite this, Dom looks just super sexy. The contact lenses he wears are amazing. It just goes to show how playing a vampire makes anyone really hot, doesn't it? LOL

The vampires in "Daybreakers" may look a bit weird but Ethan as Edward... not bad at all. ;) His intense yellow eyes equal that of another famous vampire named Edward. Unlike Mr. Cullen, Ethan's Edward is not very nice. And that's okay. Not every vampire has to be a nice guy. Hahaha.

When I saw "Dracula 2000" for the first time, I immediately fell fast for Gerard. The scene on the plane where Dracula bites Solina and, when he lifts his head to confront Marcus, the one trail of blood runs down his lip nice and slow... ohhhhhhhhhhhh... it turned me on so badly. I watch that clip on youtube and it still does it to me, no matter how many times I watch it. So orgasmic.

Somehow, I stumbled across clips of a Brazilian telenovela from over a decade ago called "Os Mutantes." Essentially, people are rapidly being turned into vampires, werewolves, telekinetics, angels... you name it. I have got to say that, even though the acting is what you would expect from a soap opera, the makeup and special effects are top-notch, with eye colour changes, fang growth, bite marks, and blood that look so realistic. Guilherme played Dino, who was bitten and turned into a vampire. He looked so damn sexy with deep crimson eyes and fangs.

The video for "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" is a classic. I first saw that video when I was about 9 or 10. Howie D as Dracula? Yes please!!! I know that, in the video for "Straight Through My Heart," he and the other Backstreet Boys play vampires (and he looks nice with red eyes) but he looks the most sexy as Dracula. Everything about him worked in that video. He turned me onto vampires... and possibly caused my sexual awakening in the process!! Thank you Howie D!

As a character, Damon Salvatore is such a bad boy and that is really sexy. Sometimes, I feel it can be a bit too overpowering but Ian is such a great actor -- and so hot -- that I don't even notice it.

Caius!!! Wow! I love looking at pictures of that character. The costumes that Jamie wears in "New Moon" are so amazing. I am not a big fan of the hair but oh well. Jamie should definitely play vampires more often, maybe one with fangs next time (LOL). He has that darkness to him that makes him so attractive. Purrrrrr....

I was editing this list and I remembered something: "Johnny's going to play Barnabas in the Dark Shadows movie!" So naturally he belongs on here!!! Johnny is going to be so hot as a vampire. I always knew he should play one and now he has. Yay!!!

Anyone who follows Jonathan's work is probably wondering why I have him on here. He was on "Degrassi" in the episodes when the school put on a production of "Castle Dracula." His character, Nate, was the one playing Dracula. And oh wow!!! He looked so good!! The fangs may have been fake but he nailed the accent, rocked the costume and possessed the seductiveness of the Count. I used pics from that episode in a story. Thanks Jonathan!

Ohhhh Henry Fitzroy! What a babe! Kyle is just super hot -- that goes without saying. But as Henry... his hotness goes through the stratosphere. With his long wavy hair, his sexy body, his gorgeous face... mmmmm. Whenever Henry shows his unique vampire appearance of black scleral eyes and a double set of fangs, wow! I love it! Those eyes are so intense. And those fangs! It must have taken forever to make them but they look amazing! Wowweeeee!!!

"Vampires Suck" looks like a funny movie. Matt as Edward... mmmm. He has that boyish charm that makes him irresistible. He is also the complete opposite of Robert Pattinson making him the obvious choice to play a character in a parody.

When I saw Antonio Banderas as Armand in "Interview With the Vampire," I was not really convinced. Then I saw Matthew in "Queen of the Damned." I was like "oooohhhh hellooooo there" -- he was perfect. His skin looked like porcelain. His hair was amazing. I know that Matthew is a bit of a bad boy off-screen (come on, he allegedly beat his ex-girlfriend... not nice! :O) but he is really hot on screen! Mmmmmm... another Australian hottie playing a vampire.

Caleb Morley was a badass. No question. Michael brought his sexy charm and his dark vibe to the character, as well as to the characters of Father Michael and Stephen Clay. I thought it was a bit weird how sometimes he would have red eyes, sometimes he would have fangs, but never together. Either way, he looked hot.

Who does not love the video for "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me" by Fall Out Boy? It is so original. Pete looks so sexy as a vampire. I love the scene with the girl. "Take the bite... take the bite..." That should have been Ashlee Simpson in that role because Pete was married to her... haha. William Beckett also looked hot in that video, too. Yes everyone! That's William Beckett! (Most people think that's Jack White but it's not...haha.)

Edward Cullen... wow. What can I say about him? Usually, I don't go for fangless vampires. With Robert's bone structure and facial features, however, he makes it really hot to go fangless.

Rudolf has played a vampire twice in his career but my favourite is him as Dracula on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Most of the vampires on that show look so weird but the makeup artists on that show decided to make Dracula actually look good. His hair looked really sexy and his costumes were amazing. He was so convincing, especially with that German accent. Mmmmm... danke Rudolf!

Deacon Frost in "Blade" is not the kind of vampire you would want to mess around with... unless you're a girl who is willing to be bitten by him. I have seen a couple of scenes in that movie and I love when his eyes go completely red. Soooo sexy!!! Stephen looks really hot!

Bill Compton is a vampire with a soul. The way he loves Sookie is so pure and honest. It's no wonder that Stephen and Anna Paquin developed their own relationship and are now married -- their off-screen chemistry really helps their on-screen chemistry. I just love how Bill says Sookie's name with that Louisiana accent.

"Queen of the Damned" may have been a bit of a corny movie but I loved Lestat in it. Stuart was positively amazing in the role. He looked super sexy. His makeup was just awesome -- everything I hoped a vampire would look like. The fangs were really interesting but still hot. In the opening when Lestat bites the guy and you see him with the blood on his lip and chin after waking up, I will be honest that, to me, it looks so real that it looked like real blood. Stuart was that convincing as a vampire.

When I see pics of Riley from the "Twilight" movies, I notice how sexy Xavier looks with red eyes. They are so intense and he is just hot. What is with Australians and playing vampires? They all look so good.
