I realize heads are being scratched as this is being read here. If (like the DC Universe) there could be multiple earths, I would keep West as the camp Batman in one, and have him play a serious one in the other. This after I saw his guest appearance in "The Big Valley" as old west army soldier struggling with inner demons. The man can be convincingly intense!!!
