I don't think I need to explain it as to why you should watch Dragon Ball, cause if you watch anime you have already watched it and if you haven't, you will watch it eventually. You can call this anime the "God Father" of all anime. The mangaka of "One Piece", Eiichiro Oda was inspired by the dragon ball manga to become a mangaka. The creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto also used dragon ball as an inspiration when creating Naruto.
