Stars: Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson, Soup

Votes: 8,432

#10-Even though this was a Show aimed at adolescents, it's sketches were quite quirky, witty and funny. It was also a launch pad for successful Comedians and Actors such as Kenan Thompson.

2. The Dana Carvey Show (1996)

30 min | Comedy

Riffs on pop culture, politics and even the show's own sponsors.

Stars: Dana Carvey, Steve Carell, Bill Chott, Stephen Colbert

Votes: 1,281

#9-Although it only lasted One season only containing eight episodes. It's sketches were hilarious, well written and ballsy. It is still to this day, one of the only sketch comedies to air in Prime Time. It was ahead of it's time, if it had been given more episodes and more time to develop, i could see this Show being in everyones top ten lists!

P.S-It boosted the careers of Louis CK, Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert.

3. Mad TV (1995–2016)

TV-14 | 60 min | Comedy

A sketch comedy show based on the seminal Mad Magazine.

Stars: Michael McDonald, Debra Wilson, Aries Spears, Bobby Lee

Votes: 11,928

#8-Okay, maybe some of the sketches left you thinking "What the *beep* did i just watch!!??" there were some hilarious gems in there too. There have been alot of ultra talented cast members as well such as Keegan Michael Key, Aries Spears, Jordan Peel and Bobby Lee.

4. Robot Chicken (2001–2022)

TV-MA | 11 min | Animation, Short, Adventure

Pop culture references fly thick and fast as stop-motion animation is featured in sketches lampooning everything from television movies to comic books.

Stars: Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, Breckin Meyer, Tom Root

Votes: 46,271

#7-Such a well written, hilarious and very different sketch comedy series with a cast comprising of all dolls/figurines. The Voice cast are very talented and the pop culture references keep this watchable, the spot on impressions carry most of the sketches and also the sheer randomness make this the most hilarious show to ever be on Adult Swim.

5. Mr. Show with Bob and David (1995–1998)

TV-MA | 27 min | Comedy

This is a sketch-comedy show. The twist here is that all of the sketches (even the monologue) are connected in some strange way.

Stars: Bob Odenkirk, David Cross, John Ennis, Jay Johnston

Votes: 10,552

#6-The two sole Cast members of this Show are both among the most brilliant Stand Up Comedians, and both also play beloved TV Characters. This show thought outside of the box, yes some of the sketches may have fallen flat. But the sketches that worked, they *beep* worked!

6. Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969–1974)

TV-14 | 30 min | Comedy

The original surreal sketch comedy showcase for the Monty Python troupe.

Stars: Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle

Votes: 78,823

#5-People are probably wondering why it's so high up the list!? My main reasoning being you should never find this Show on 'The Best written Sketch Comedies of All time'. Yes it was hilarious, different and unique. But the sketches relied to much on weirdness and slapstick Comedy. But that being said, it's easily one of the funniest Shows of all time, and some of it's sketches are among the best ever!

7. Key and Peele (2012–2015)

TV-14 | 30 min | Comedy

Project sees Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele in front of a live studio audience bantering about a topic weaved between filmed shorts and sketches.

Stars: Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Metta World Peace, Brendan Hunt

Votes: 25,846

#4-After it's first Season being aired, it was met with mixed reviews and didn't have much of a following. But as soon as the second season starting airing and the sketches from Season 1 were put on Youtube, it became a phenomena. With over 10 of their sketches with over 1 million views each, it's become a pop culture phenomenon. First if the sole Cast members came from MadTV, and they work so god damn well with each other, and the writing staff is one of the best ever assembled.

8. The Ben Stiller Show (1992–1995)

TV-PG | 306 min | Comedy

This comedy/variety show specialized in parodies of movies and television shows and commercials. Often, they would also have a special guest (e.g., a TV actor) join them.

Stars: Ben Stiller, Andy Dick, Janeane Garofalo, Bob Odenkirk

Votes: 2,084

#3-Yes, it only lasted one Season. But you were guaranteed to ether laugh at very sketch, or be impressed with the characters or impressions. All four main cast members have all gone on to moderate success in TV and Film. And now Ben Stiller is one of Hollywood's most bankable Comedians next to Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell. The short Films in this Show knew when to stop and not go over time, like you may see on MadTV or SNL. I tell you what, Ben Stiller knows how to lead an All Star Cats and writing Staff.

9. Chappelle's Show (2003–2006)

TV-MA | 22 min | Comedy, Music

Comedian Dave Chappelle hosts this sketch-comedy show that parodies many of the nuances of race and culture.

Stars: Dave Chappelle, Donnell Rawlings, Rudy Rush, Charlie Murphy

Votes: 71,824

#2-I know, I know this should be Number #1. But i'll give my reasoning for that in number #1. Although this only lasted Two Seasons with Dave at the Helm, it is regarded as one of the funniest shows of all time. And to this day, 10 years since it's first episode, people are still quoting lines or acting out skecthes. It's melted into peoples brains, and it will stay that way. And Dave isn't the only hilarious part about the show, Charlie Murphy was part of one of the most memorable skits in the whole series. He could hold his own next to Dave.

10. Saturday Night Live (1975– )

TV-14 | 90 min | Comedy, Music

A famous guest host stars in parodies and sketches created by the cast of this witty show.

Stars: The Saturday Night Live Band, Don Pardo, Darrell Hammond, Kenan Thompson

Votes: 52,763

#1- Okay, so recently this Show has fallen of it's perch a bit. But you can't ignore it's long history of classic sketches, spot on impressions and unforgettable Characters. The only reason SNL beats Chappelle's Show is that it's lasted way longer, and it's boosted more careers. They may be unfair, but deal with it. You have to give it to SNl's never say die attitude. After the main Cast left and Season 6 was one of the biggest disasters in TV History, it found it's feet only a few seasons later when Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo were at their finest. Then Billy Crystal and Martin Short carried the Show between them, and then Season 11 happened, arguably nearly as much as a trainwreck as Season 6. But then it found it's feet, and only the season after. The lieks of Kevin Nealon, Phil Hartman and Dana Carvey carried the Show and starred in arguably the Most talented cast to ever be on SNL. It's also boosted some of Hollywood's finest Comedians, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Phil Hartman, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Will Ferrell, Norm Macdonald, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Jason Sudeikis, Kristin Wigg and Bill Hader.
