Votes: 95,004 | Gross: $0.22M

I think Tommy Wiseau's masterpiece of awfulness, his symphony of confusion, his compilation of true cinematic terror, takes the cake here. The movie is just so bone-chillingly, rage-inducing-ly dismal that it becomes funny after a while. You have to wonder how a movie like this could ever be made. And the fact that Wiseau was serious when he made this picture makes it all the more entertaining. This is "The Godfather" of bad movies.

2. Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957)

Votes: 40,405

Questionable dialogue, senseless character motivations, and an overall feel of badness make this one take the number two spot.

Votes: 34,676

I can't find words to describe how awful this movie is. Yet, it's awfulness it what makes it great, right?

4. Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010)

Not Rated | 105 min | Horror, Thriller

A horde of mutated birds descends upon the quiet town of Half Moon Bay, California. As the death toll rises, two citizens manage to fight back, but will they survive Birdemic?

Director: James Nguyen | Stars: Alan Bagh, Whitney Moore, Tippi Hedren, Janae Caster

Votes: 25,445

Oh my god this movie is so horrible its funny. The special effects look like they were done by a 6 year old, and the actors might as well be reading from a page of script they're so bad. This transcends into one of the best-worst films out there. Take that. Hitchcock!

5. Battlefield Earth (2000)

PG-13 | 117 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

It's the year 3000 A.D., and the Earth is lost to the alien race of Psychlos. Humanity is enslaved by these gold-thirsty tyrants, who are unaware that their 'man-animals' are about to ignite the rebellion of a lifetime.

Votes: 83,090 | Gross: $21.47M

Vincent Vega mixed with Predator. That's John Travolta in this movie.

6. Showgirls (1995)

NC-17 | 128 min | Drama

23 Metascore

A mysterious young drifter who calls herself Nomi Malone hitches a ride to Las Vegas, Nevada, and begins working as a strip club dancer, and sets about clawing her way to the top of the Vegas showgirls.

The movie poster says it all.

Votes: 39,941 | Gross: $72.18M

This movie is just so implausible and campy that it ends up working.

A movie about a tire. Really? Yes, and this one is hilarious, although it wasn't intended to be.

10. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)

R | 105 min | Action, Fantasy, Horror

42 Metascore

Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States. He makes it his mission to eliminate them.

Votes: 161,642 | Gross: $37.52M

It's creative, I'll give it that, but Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is just so overdone and bad that it ends up being campy fun.
