Lower-middle class sitcom that ends up turning into this weird, new agey surrealist thing by the final season. John Goodman deserves a lifetime achievement award!

More anime????

Evangelion is one of the most mature shows ever made, up there with the Twilight Zone. Most people complain about the protagonist being a whiny little kid, or that the show is too pretentious or something, but it really is an exercise in New Wave science fiction and it's great.

Follows the misadventures of four irreverent grade-schoolers in the quiet, dysfunctional town of South Park, Colorado.

Stars: Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Isaac Hayes, Mona Marshall

Votes: 405,797

South Park episodes are hit or miss, but when they get it right, it's so funny and so over the top that you'd have to be a real jerk to not like it. I like the Christmas one where they meet Charles Manson < 3

The absurd antics of an Indiana town's public officials as they pursue sundry projects to make their city a better place.

Nobody ever likes this show at first, but when they finish their first episode, they just sit there and watch every season. I'm not sure why it's so controversial, but it's very solid.

Morbid, disturbing, picture of America. Sort of like the Jetsons, but much more mature.
