2. Finding Dory (2016)

Friendly but forgetful blue tang Dory begins a search for her long-lost parents and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.

It's actually better than the first one, and Up there with Pixar classics.

3. The VVitch: A New-England Folktale (2015)

Horror it is not, but as fantasticly written and acted creepy tale of witches it really is something else.

4. Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Not as good as second one, but still really fun and among the top 3 Marvel movies. (especially compared to the cringy and dull Xmen, and depressing and confused Batman V Superman)

5. 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)

Fantastic chamber piece that relies solely on fantastic performances (especially John Goodmans), that manages to surprise and keeps you on your toes throughout. Bonus - it came out of nowhere, which is feat for itself in todays world.

Beautifuly shot, wonderfuly crafted and acted thriller that will tear you apart emotionally.

Fake documentary, but fantasticaly made and really fun and funny throught.

9. La La Land (2016)

Cheesy musical with a lot of heart. Gosling and Stone chemistry is what elevates it to another level.

10. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

Different kind of Star Wars story, and it works surprisingly well.

The SF that manages to break the mould and surprise with it's tone and beautiful cinematography. if it wasn't for some illogical plot points, it would be near perfect.

12. Tale of Tales (2015)

Beautiful and intriguing, it beggs for more rounded ending. Still, impressive and evocative of movies like Big Fish and The Fall.
