Fictional examples showcasing robosexuality

by FutureStudier | created - 17 May 2021 | updated - 3 months ago | Public

Movies, tv-series, and animes that in some form showcases the subject of robosexuality (romantic love and/or sex) between humans and artificial individuals.

I'll add movies/series even if there's just a few scenes in the whole movie that's robosexual in its nature, with A.I from 2001 as one example. I'll also add controversial and/or non-consensual examples to this list, with Blade Runner from 1982 as one controversial example, and Demon Seed from 1977 as one non-consensual example.

Those movies will later on be analyzed at my blog (which I have yet to set up) that'll be focusing on studying how robosexuality "is allowed to exist" in filmed medias.

Notes: 1. I believe "A Mechanical Husband" from 1910 was the first movie ever to represent robosexuality, but I am not 100% sure.

2. I've added "Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Offspring" to this list, aware that it is a bit of a stretch, but I've decided to include it anyway.
