It’s 34 years since Peter Powell left Radio 1 and now, he’s to feature in a special BBC Sounds podcast. Later this month Peter joins Shaun Tilley for a special hour-long edition of the My Radio 1 series. After hosting his final Radio 1 show in September 1988, he co-founded James Grant, a management company, which went on to become the most successful in the UK entertainment industry.

Anthea Turner is to be granted a quickie divorce. The 55-year-old presenter has reportedly applied for her divorce from second husband Grant Bovey to be finalised at London's Central Family Court. If the decree nisi is approved, their 15-year marriage will be over within six weeks, according to The Sun newspaper.
