Back in 1998, the world saw the first season of That '70s Show, the Fox sitcom that became definitive for the whole generation of back-then teens. Following the tricky lives of a group of six teenage friends of the fictional Point Place, Wisconsin, it attracted millions of viewers until it concluded with the eighth season in 2008.
The sitcom was so successful that its showrunners came up with the idea of the sequel That '90s Show, 10 episodes of which were released on Netflix last January, focusing on the children of the original characters. Thus, the main characters of the follow-up were Leia Forman, the daughter of Eric and Donna, and Jay Kelso, Michael and Jackie’s son.
The parents’ actors reprised their iconic roles, making small appearances in the show. When That '90s Show was renewed for a second season, fans started to hope they will see their favorite characters one more time,...

Mila Kunis is shutting down the possibility of returning to That ’90s Show Season 2, including Ashton Kutcher.
In a new interview, the actress revealed that she and Kutcher would not be reprising their That ’70s Show characters when the sequel series returns to Netflix.
“No,” Kunis told Et when asked if she and her husband Kutcher would return to the sitcom. “I mean, we did our thing, and they introduced our son in the show.”
Kunis, who was on the red carpet of the PaleyFest in L.A. to celebrate Family Guy, where she voices Meg Griffin, was alongside her co-star Seth Green, who interjected to say he would guest star on That ’90s Show.
“I’ve already done an episode of it, and I’m going back to do another one,” Green said.
Green had a recurring role on That ’70s Show, playing Mitch Miller, the nemesis of Topher Grace’s Eric Forman.

Approximately a month later, it managed to remain on the top 10 list and surprisingly enjoyed more views – so it’s safe to say that the expectations are rather high for the second season as well.

Hanging out down the street, you could find the cast of That ’70s Show, Fox’s go-to sitcom from 1998-2006. Lasting eight seasons and even 200 episodes, That ’70s Show had an ensemble that found a charismatic group of characters in the Wisconsin burbs and making the most out of that basement. Making its debut on Fox in the fall of 1998, the show quickly became a cultural phenomenon. It made superstars out of much of its young cast, including Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Danny Masterson, Wilmer Valderrama, and even the adult leads, Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith (with Red Foreman a far cry from this role in Robocop).

“We are aware of the pain that has been caused by the character letters that we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson,” Kutcher says in a video posted to his Instagram on Saturday.
“We support victims. We have done this historically through our work and will continue to do so in the future,” adds Kunis, who sits beside husband Kutcher in the video.
Kutcher then explains how Masterson’s family reached out to him and Kunis to write character letters to “represent the person that we knew for 25 years.”
“The letters were not written to question the legitimacy of the judicial system, or the validity of the jury’s ruling,” Kunis says.

Los Angeles, Sep 9 (Ians) Actors and star couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have written in support of the rape accused actor Danny Masterson, ahead of his sentencing, vouching for his character.
Kutcher and Kunis wrote letters in an effort to urge the judge for a lesser sentencing. In Kutcher’s letter, he referred to Masterson as a “role model”, while Kunis vouched for Masterson’s “exceptional character”, calling him as an “outstanding older brother figure,” in documents obtained by Variety.
Both the actors have previously worked with Masterson. Kutcher and Kunis starred in ‘That ’70s Show’ with him, which ran for eight seasons and 200 episodes between 1998 and 2006.
Kutcher then again starred with Masterson on the web series, ‘The Ranch’, though Masterson was written out of the show in its third season, after being accused of sexual assault in 2017.

The judge overseeing Danny Masterson’s criminal case handed the actor the maximum allowable sentence, resisting calls from nearly 50 of his family, friends and colleagues to allow him to serve his prison term concurrently rather than consecutively.
Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp and David Trainer — all of whom worked alongside Masterson in That ’70s Show — wrote to the court as character references urging Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo to offer Masterson leniency in letters dated between July and August, after he was convicted in May. They mostly touted his commitment to discouraging the use of drugs.
Masterson on Thursday was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison. Though she had the choice to restrict his sentence to 15 years to life, Olmedo declined to do so.
Masterson will be eligible for parole in roughly 25 years, when he’s 72 years old.

That ’70s Show star Danny Masterson was sentenced to thirty years in prison yesterday after being found guilty of two counts of sexual assault. Prior to the sentencing, more than fifty people wrote letters to Judge Charlaine Olmedo to voice their support for Danny Masterson and to urge for a lesser sentence. Two of the people who wrote letters were Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who starred alongside Masterson on That ’70s Show.
Danny Masterson’s defence was asking for 15 years to life, so everyone who wrote letters to Judge Olmedo likely knew that he would at least be serving that time.
Ashton Kutcher counted Masterson as a friend and role model in his letter. “As a role model, Danny has consistently been an excellent one,” Kutcher wrote. “I attribute not falling into the typical Hollywood life of drugs directly to Danny. Any time that we were to meet someone...

Having publicly hoped earlier this year that Danny Masterson would be found “innocent” of rape charges in his retrial, Ashton Kutcher also sought to convince the judge in his That 70s Show co-star’s case of what a great guy the defendant is.
“Not only is he a good friend to me I’ve witnessed him be a good friend to others and the kind of brother others would be lucky to have,” Kutcher wrote Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo late last month as Masterson awaited sentencing on being found guilty of two counts of rape this spring. “As a role model, Danny has consistently been an excellent one. I attribute not falling into the typical Hollywood life of drugs directly to Danny,” Kutcher said as one of many high profile names like Mila Kunis advocating on Masterson’s behalf.
On September 7, 47-year-old Masterson was sentenced to 30 years behind bars by Judge Olmedo.

Ashton Kutcher called convicted rapist Danny Masterson “an extraordinarily honest and intentional friend,” while Mila Kunis referred to his “innate goodness and genuine nature” in letters submitted on the actor’s behalf before he was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The letters, shared by journalist Meghann Cuniff on her Substack, were revealed one day after Masterson was formally sentenced on Sept. 7. Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and other friends, family members and “That ’70s Show” castmates sent heartfelt letters seeking leniency for Danny Masterson, describing him as a strictly drug-free devoted family man – though the judge wound up giving him the maximum sentence of 30 years to life anyway.
Masterson was convicted in May on two counts of forcible rape for separate assaults alleged by two women around 2013. A first trial late last year resulted in a hung jury, but prosecutors re-tried the case and were more prepared to support the victims’ claims that they had been drugged prior to being attacked this time around.
Notably, the letters to Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo, from former castmates, professional collaborators and wife Bijou Phillips repeatedly highlight Masterson’s drug-free lifestyle – Kutcher even credits his friend for keeping drugs out of the question as the group of young actors rose to fame together.

Later in the letter, the actor wrote, “While I’m aware that the judgement has been cast as guilty on two counts of rape by force and the victims have a great desire for justice.

More changes are on the horizon for Disney+'s slate of series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Agatha Harkness spinoff of WandaVision has been postponed to late 2024.
The series, which wrapped production earlier this year, finds Kathryn Hahn reprising the role she played on WandaVision Season 1.
In addition to the delay, the series has also been given a new title... Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.
The series has also been called Agatha: Coven of Chaos and Agatha: House of Harkness.
Hopefully, the third time's the charm, and this title sticks.
It is unfortunate that we'll be waiting much longer than planned for the series, but there's a good chance the delay is in response to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Agatha: Darkhold Diaries also stars Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus), Sasheer Zamata (SNL), Joe Locke (Heartstopper), Patti LuPone (American Horror Story), Emma Caulfield Ford,...

Uh-oh… has someone put a hex on Disney+’s Agatha-centered WandaVision spinoff?
The spinoff, with Kathryn Hahn reprising her WandaVision role as the witchy villainess, was originally supposed to debut later this year, but it has now been delayed until early fall 2024, timed to the Halloween season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. (A source has confirmed the news to TVLine.) For those of you who are keeping score at home, it’s also now on its third title: Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, replacing the previous title Agatha: Coven of Chaos, which in turn replaced the original Agatha: House of Harkness.

The perils and plights of adolescence have long been a source of fascination for television audiences. That’s particularly apparent nowadays with Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Showtime, FX, and others vying for zeitgeist dominance with teen-focused dramas playing to a variety of creative strengths. As narratives have gotten more sophisticated overall across the TV landscape, it makes sense that the ways in which we look at stories about young people have also evolved. From “Never Have I Ever” to “Yellowjackets,” TV teens in 2023 are among some of the most rich ever written.

Ready for a mind-bending time warp? We’re now more removed from That ‘70s Show’s series premiere than viewers were removed from that first episode’s 1976 timeframe when the Fox sitcom debuted on August 23, 1998, 25 years ago now. In that first episode, Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty Forman (Debra Jo Rupp) give son Eric (Topher Grace) the keys to their Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. Eric uses those wheels to go to a concert with his friends Donna (Laura Prepon), Hyde (Danny Masterson), and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), plus foreign exchange student Fez (Wilmer Valderrama)… with Kelso bringing girlfriend Jackie (Mila Kunis) along, much to the others’ dismay. That seminal episode, however, isn’t among fans’ very favorites. According to IMDb voters, below are the best installments from That ‘70s Show’s eight-season run. 10. Though “Friends” primarily followed its core six people, the cast certainly had a lot of their own friends stop by the show over the years. In rewatching the show, you might spot a lot of familiar faces that you didn’t remember — or maybe didn’t even know the first time they appeared.
Beginning in 1994, the NBC sitcom ran for 10 seasons. And, considering it ran during the age of television when seasons were usually 23 or 24 episodes long, there were plenty of opportunities for the cast and creators to bring in celebrity guest stars.
Some just came for an episode, and some stuck around a little longer, but each one left their own mark. So, we rounded up just about all of them — excluding those like Tom Selleck and Elliott Gould who were more regularly recurring stars on “Friends.”

San Diego Comic-Con is going to be a little different this year. Many studios had already dropped out of presenting, including Marvel, Sony, HBO, Universal, and Netflix, and now that SAG-AFTRA has joined the WGA on the picket lines, you can pretty much kiss any panel involving writers or actors goodbye. The official Comic-Con schedule has been updated with a list of cancelled panels, which unfortunately includes Dune: Part Two, The Boys spin-off series Gen V, Amazon’s The Wheel of Time, Lionsgate’s upcoming The Strangers trilogy, and more.

If I had asked you to name a film from the early 1990s that featured groundbreaking visuals effects that changed the landscape of cinema, you probably answer with Jurassic Park. But what if I told you that instead of dinosaurs, an earlier pioneer in visual effects was a satirical black comedy involving Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, and a magic potion? Yep, that’s right. That film does indeed exist and is none other than Death Becomes Her. Directed by the legendary Robert Zemeckis and co-written by David Koepp and Martin Donovan. The idea came to Koepp back when he was working on another film, which featured a story about a man’s attempts to kills his wife, who turns out to be a witch and cannot die. And of course, the witch has an axe to grind now that she knows her husband tried to off her. That idea later developed into Death Becomes Her.

On Tuesday’s episode of The View (via Entertainment Weekly), LuPone revealed she’s playing Lilia Calderu for the upcoming series, also starring Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza.
“It’s a coven of witches, and I play Lilia Calderu, who apparently is in the Marvel world. I researched her. She’s hot. She’s really hot. She’s got a great body and hair,” LuPone told Alyssa Farah Griffin about her character. “I didn’t know there were witches,” LuPone said about exploring the Marvel Universe. “I didn’t know anything about the Marvel world. There are witches in the marvel world. So, we are a coven of witches and the witches are: Kathryn Hahn,...

That ’70s Show was one of the most popular and influential TV shows of the early 2000s. It incited a wave of interest in ’70s culture and introduced several young performers who would go on to become superstars. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were relatively new to Hollywood when cast in That ’70s Show, but they made waves with viewers. Not only did their characters on the show date, but Kutcher and Kunis went on to get married and have two children. As Kutcher joked in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, his history with Kunis and the show would be a real brain-bender for the couple’s two kids, if they were ever to sit down and watch the series.

Starring on That ’70s Show as Red Forman was one of the highlights of Kurtwood Smith’s decorated acting career for both professional and personal reasons. The now 79-year-old actor has told the press that the character of Red really hit home for him as the character always reminded him of his stepfather. Sadly, Smith’s stepdad passed away right before the first season of That ’70s Show aired.
Debra Jo Rupp, who played opposite Smith as Red’s wife, Kitty, also drew inspiration for her character through her own parental figures stating that Kitty was very much her mother. While Rupp and Smith had a natural rapport on the show, Rupp has recently revealed that she was quite nervous around Smith on the first season of That ’70s Show. Here’s why.

Peacock has scored another win with Rian Johnson’s whodunnit series “Poker Face.” The original comedy series opened at No. 3 on Nielsen’s Streaming Original Series Top 10 chart, making it Peacock’s highest-ranked original series to ever hit the chart. During the Jan. 23-29 viewing window, the show recorded 547 million minutes viewed in the first four days of availability with its four-episode opening.
The series also marks the streamer’s highest-ranking original comedy to crack the chart. “The Best Man: The Final Chapters” was Peacock’s first original series to land on Nielsen’s Top 10 list — opening at No. 5 during the Dec. 19-25 viewing period. Prior to the revival series taking the crown, the streamer’s drama “Bel-Air” previously held the title for Peacock’s biggest ever series debut.
Starring Natasha Lyonne, the 10-episode mystery-of-the-week series follows Charlie, an eccentric detective with the extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying.
